2025 has already been a terrific year for Netflix, with everything from blockbuster dramas to thrilling reality shows catering to all.
Celebrities have been hunted down on Bear Hunt, a 2018 cop drama is getting new love after Netflix took a chance on it, and Swedish crime drama There Are Murders took the platform by storm.
TV fans are unlikely to feel like they’re being short-changed by the long-running streaming platform!
But Netflix’s good run in 2025 isn’t stopping there, with more and more shows coming to the streaming service over the next four weeks.
March 2025 is already looking like a busy month for Netflix, with everything from Walking Dead spin-offs to much-delayed documentary shows coming soon.
Here’s what to expect on Netflix in 2025.
Adolescence – March 13
Coming to Netflix on March 13 is Adolescence, starring the likes of Stephen Graham, Ashley Walters, Owen Cooper, and Faye Marsay.
In the series, two families’ worlds are turned upside-down when a 13-year-old schoolboy is arrested for murdering one of his fellow pupils.
The four-part series has been developed by Stephen and writing partner Jack Thorne, who is best known for writing the fantasy series His Dark Materials.
Metro have already tipped Adolescence to be a major success, with our TV Reporter Pierra Willix calling the series ‘the best Netflix show to look for in 2025’.
‘Having watched some of the scenes from the series, the way it was filmed will undoubtedly have viewers on the edge of their seat and unable to look away and happily avoid scrolling their phones as the episodes play out.’
She continued: ‘Although blockbuster shows very much have their place in Netflix’s slate, it is shows like Adolescence that stand out to me as ones we need to be seeing more of on our screens.’
With Love, Meghan – March 4

After its original January release was hit with delays, this new lifestyle series, hosted by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is finally ready to hit Netflix.
Titled With Love, Meghan, the wife of Prince Harry will helm the series which has been in development at the streaming giant since 2020.
The pair signed a deal with Netflix reportedly worth $100million (£79million) to produce unscripted content, and With Love, Meghan is expected to be the first of many shows of its kind.
Eight episodes long, With Love, Meghan will see the Duchess of Sussex ‘share personal tips and tricks, embrace playfulness over perfection and highlight how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected.’
The statement continued: ‘She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden and beyond, and invite you to do the same.’
With Love, Meghan will feature guest appearances from Prince Harry, as well as US comedy writer Mindy Kaling and chefs Roy Choi and Alice Waters.
1883 – March 17
1883 is a Western drama series created by Taylor Sheridan – the limited series from 2021 serves as a prequel to the hit American series Yellowstone.
The series follows the Dutton family as they journey from Texas to Montana in the post-Civil War era, establishing what would become the Yellowstone Ranch.
The show stars country singers and actors Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, as well as Sam Elliott, and it originally premiered on Paramount+ in December 2021.
The series consists of ten episodes and was praised at the time for its authentic portrayal of the hardships faced by pioneers in 19th-century America.
While 1883 will be made available in the UK, streaming rights issues mean that the series, which has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 89%, won’t be coming to Netflix in the US just yet.
Just One Look – March 5
Just One Look is an upcoming Polish thriller series that is set to take viewers by storm when it makes its debut on Netflix on March 5.
Based on Harlan Coben’s 2004 novel of the same name, Just One Look follows Greta, a jewellery designer.
Her life is turned upside down when she discovers a mysterious old photograph of her husband surrounded by unfamiliar faces.
Determined to uncover the truth of her husband’s past, Greta dives into a web of secrets and lies that threaten her loved ones and force her to question everything she once believed.
The 10-part series stars Maria Dębska, Cezary Łukaszewicz, and Piotr Stramowski – names that will surely be a much bigger deal from March 2025 onwards in the UK.
Just One Look does have Polish audio, but can be watched with English subtitles if you’re after a mystery show that’ll keep you guessing until the end.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End – March 1
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a popular fantasy anime series based on the Japanese manga of the same name by artist Kanehito Yamada.
The story follows Frieren as she reflects on her past adventures with her hero’s party after they defeated the Demon King.
Frieren is known for exploring tough subjects such as grief, nostalgia, and the passage of time, as its titular character embarks on a new journey to form closer connections with humans.
The anime was a massive success when it first aired on Japanese TV in 2023 and now US and UK audiences are ready to take it in.
Frieren received mass critical praise for its story and animation when it was first broadcast in Japan two years ago, with an approval rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Halo – March 1
The TV series that several video game fans waited years for, Halo is a sci-fi show based on the popular first-person space-age shooter game.
Developed by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane, the show follows the story of Master Chief, a super-soldier, as he battles the alien Covenant in a timeline separate from the games.
The series originally aired on Paramount+ and ran for two seasons between 2022 and 2024, and received mostly positive reviews from critics – with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 80%.
Halo will be available on Netflix in select regions, including the UK, from March 1, which has given some fans hope that a third season may well be coming soon. However, very little is known about whether any more episodes will actually ever be made.
American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden – March 10
American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden is a three-part docuseries, following on from the American Manhunt series’ focusing on the OJ Simpson case and the Boston Marathon Bombing.
Directed by Mor Loushy and Daniel Sivan, the series provides an in-depth look at the global effort to capture Osama Bin Laden after the tragic 9/11 attacks.
Almost 3,000 people were killed when four domestic US flights were hijacked by Al Qaeda terrorists and flown into American landmarks, including the World Trade Center and the Pentagon – the mission was led by Bin Laden years earlier.
The series features interviews with key figures in the US government who were involved in the decade-long mission, which came to an end when Bin Laden was killed in Pakistan in May 2011.
It aims to tell the story from the perspective of the people on the ground, rather than focusing on the broader war on terror which began in the aftermath of the attack.
