French police have revealed the causes of death for Netflix actor Callum Kerr’s mother and her husband who died in France.
British expats Dawn and Andrew Searle’s bodies were found at their home in the southwestern village of Les Pesquies, about 50 miles from Toulouse, late last week.
Autopsies for the pair were carried out on Monday and revealed Dawn died from ‘several’ blows to the head from a blunt and sharp object. Andrew’s death has been confirmed as from hanging.
It comes after multiple theories about their deaths, including a ‘gangland’ hit, were ruled out.
French police technicians have been examining devices belonging to the couple as part of the investigation.
A phone belonging to Andrew – a former financial investigator involved in the fight against organised crime – is proving ‘particularly helpful,’ said an unnamed source.
‘There is a mine of information, and recent calls made by Mr Searle are providing vital clues,’ they said.
