The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday confirmed the deaths of seven Pakistani nationals in a recent boat capsizing incident off the coast of Libya.
Six of the deceased hailed from Kurram district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while one was from Bajaur.
The boat, which was carrying approximately 65 passengers, met with disaster near Marsa Dela port, northwest of Zawiya city. Local authorities and officials from the Pakistani Embassy in Tripoli are working together to identify deceased individuals and gather more information about those affected.

The Crisis Management Unit (CMU) was activated to monitor the situation with people were advised to contact at 051-9207887 helpline.
