A police unit in Peru has marked Valentine’s Day in a very unique way.
The Escuadron Verde, or Green Squad, often kit their agents out in fancy dress on special occasions.
They have previously been joined on drugs raids by Marvel heroes Spiderman, Captain America and Thor.
But this year they called upon… the world’s biggest rodent.
Bodycam footage shows one officer dressed up as a capybara – complete with green turtle backpack – helping to carry out a bust in the capital Lima.
Colonel Pedro Rojas said: ‘In the house search we carried out after the intervention, we found a large quantity of cocaine paste and also marijuana.
‘On this occasion, this Valentine’s Day, day of lovers, we have sought to mimic the character of capybara.’
