After what seemed like a decades-long wait, The White Lotus returned to our screens in February with a brand new star-studded cast. They’re no Jennifer Coolidge, but I’m willing to bet you recognise them all.
You’ve got Jason Isaacs, whose bank of work includes Harry Potter, Peter Pan, and The OA, nepo baby Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of THE Arnold Schwarzenegger, returning actor Natasha Rothwell and many more.
Thankfully, the actor’s real lives are worlds away from the drama-fueled antics of their characters. Some are single, some have been married for years, and others are still living with an air of mystery about their relationships. Take a look!
1. Patrick Schwarzenegger will have a wife very soon
Patrick Schwarzenegger has been dating model Abby Champion for over a decade, long before he ever went from nepo baby to booked actor thanks to projects such as Gen V, The Staircase, and Midnight Sun.
They got engaged in December 2023, and while they are yet to formally set a date, they seem as loved up as ever in cosy Instagram snaps and tropical holidays.
“Over the course of the years, I just continuously fell in love with her more and more, with the kind of human that she was becoming and that the relationship was becoming,” he recently told PEOPLE.
2. Jason Isaacs has been married since 2001
Jason Isaacs has been a staple of British TV and film for decades, most of which he has been with his wife Emma Hewitt. They met while studying at the Central School of Speech and Drama, formally getting together in 1987 and marrying in 2001.
Jason and Emma now have two daughters, Lily Isaacs, 22, and Ruby Isaacs, 19.
3. Natasha Rothwell is single and proud of it
Natasha Rothwell returned as her White Lotus season one character Belinda Lindsey in season three, but when she’s not working, Natasha is living her best life as a single pringle who is NOT ready to mingle.
Speaking about her choice to remain single, she told Gayle King: “I think in my early 20s, I was convinced that dying alone was the worst thing that could ever happen and [I was] completely focusing on the romantic version of love. I realized as I’ve gotten older and with 20 years of therapy that being alone isn’t scary.
“I actually quite like being alone, it’s the being lonely thing to fear. So I do think that the way to die alone, to answer the question of the show, is to die without feeling lonely and to find ways to satiate that longing with real connection. It doesn’t have to be romantic, there’s so much love in my life, platonic and familial, and so I wanted to show that.”
4. Parker Posey has dated some pretty big names
Parker Posey famously lives a secluded life but, according to Ranker, she has been with Jimmy Fallon, Keanu Reeves, Ryan Adams, Stuart Townsend, and Thomas Beller.
She is currently with Jay Jay Wilson and the two welcomed daughter Harley into the world back in 2021.
5. There were rumours about Sarah Catherine Hook
Sarah Catherine Hook is reportedly single but there were rumours of her dating her First Kill co-star Imani Lewis back in 2022. Neither actress confirmed nor denied the rumours besides being really close.
6. Sam Nivola is dating a huge nepo baby
Nepo baby Sam Nivola, who is the son of actors Alessandro Nivola and Emily Mortimer, is relatively new to the acting world but he’s already managed to bag another Hollywood nepo baby in the form of Judd Apatow’s daughter Iris. The two started dating in 2024 and have been inseparable ever since.
“I brought my girlfriend for a few months, which was amazing,” he told PEOPLE at The White Lotus season 3 premiere. “It was so great to have a taste of home because it was 10,000 miles away from home.”
7. Michelle Monaghan’s husband is an artist
Michelle Monaghan met her future husband Peter White at a party in 2000. They were married in an intimate ceremony in Port Douglas, Queensland, in 2005 and have two kids, Willow and Tommy.
8. Leslie Bibb has been in a long-term relationship since 2007
Leslie Bibb is not married to her current partner but she did have a one-year marriage to businessman Rob Born in 2003. Since 2007, Leslie has been in a long-term relationship with fellow actor Sam Rockwell.
9. Aimee Lou Wood’s only major boyfriend was a Sex Education co-star
Aimee Lou Wood is currently single but she did have a relationship with her co-star from Sex Education, Connor Swindells. They dated for two years before heading to splitsville in 2020.
“We’d had some time apart and then we realised that maybe the relationship wasn’t serving us both. We still really love each other and respect each other. It was an okay breakup, it wasn’t dramatic,” she later told Grazia.
“I felt like a dam burst, then all of a sudden I was hurting, but I needed to be there because I’d become a bit numb and it was nice to suddenly feel everything again.”
10. Walton Goggins’ wife is a Canadian filmmaker
Despite becoming estranged in the final years of their relationship, Walton Goggins stayed married to dog walker Leanne Kaun until her tragic death in 2004 from injuries sustained during a fall. Walton later married filmmaker Nadia Conners in 2011 and they now share a son, Walton Sanders Goggins Jr.
