Pakistani National Deported from Texas After Being Identified as National Security Priority

Syed Rizvi, a 56-year-old Pakistani national, was recently deported from the United States after being identified as a “national security priority.”

He entered the U.S. legally on September 20, 2017, near the New York port of entry but violated the terms of his admission. Rizvi was residing in Dallas, Texas, without authorization when he was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Dallas on January 31, 2025, following a routine traffic stop.

An immigration judge had ordered his removal on January 24, 2025. He was deported to Pakistan on February 25, 2025.

The deportation highlights U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) commitment to removing individuals who pose potential threats to national security.

According to ICE officials, Rizvi’s removal was part of efforts to ensure that illegal aliens with ties to organizations threatening public safety do not find refuge in the U.S.

This case is part of broader U.S. efforts to address illegal immigration and national security concerns. The U.S. has been actively deporting individuals who violate immigration laws or are deemed security risks, reflecting a heightened focus on immigration enforcement since previous administrations.
