NASREDDINE NABI TALKS AFRICAN FOOTBALL
“For the [Nedbank] Cup we have to do everything we can as Kaizer Chiefs. It doesn’t mean that it’s the only possibility to go to CAF competition through Nedbank, no,” Nabi said via iDiski Times. “We want as a big club as Kaizer Chiefs to go back to winning trophies even if we don’t go anywhere, but to go back to having the habits of winning trophies.”

The Glamour Boys are two matches away from winning their first trophy in 10 years.
Miguel Inacio opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before substitute Andre De Jong found a late equaliser. Mfundo Vilakazi’s 90+11 winner followed Pule Mmodi’s controversial goal in injury time. “It was disappointing [to concede], but we knew that we were playing a very strong and tough team,” Nabi said via iDiski Times.
“Even after conceding the goal we kept believing that can come back and we were prepared for extra-time. That’s why we brought in Shabalala, Vilakazi because we were planning for extra-time, planning to give us that extra strength,” the Kaizer Chiefs mentor concluded.
