Sir Alex Ferguson and Harry Redknapp will be among the very interested observers at Cheltenham Festival this week with the former football managers bidding for more success on the race track.

The Manchester United legend’s other passion away from the football pitch has long been horse racing, dating back years to his famous dispute with former United shareholder John Magnier and their horse Rock of Gibraltar.

Since retiring from the dugout in 2013, the Scot has invested plenty of time and money into the sport, enjoying plenty of success.

Ferguson owns 32 horses with a handful of them set to see action at Cheltenham which gets underway today.
