AmaZulu have been dealt with ANOTHER coaching resignation following the departure of Aubrey Vilakazi.
Vilakazi had been AmaZulu’s goalkeeper coach, but he has now asked to be relieved of his duties due personal issues.
His resignation comes just weeks after co-coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi resigned from the club also citing personal reasons.
Now, in a statement released by AmaZulu on Wednesday, Aubrey has now been replaced by Wendell Robinson.
Robinson worked as a goalkeeper coach at Mamelodi Sundowns for many years until he was recently sacked alongside Manqoba Mngqithi.
He brings with him a wealth of experience to try and help both Richard Ofori and Veli Mothwa improve.
Both Ofori and Mothwa have conceded a combined 28 goals in the league so far this season with AmaZulu.
However, what has been glaring are costly goalkeeping mistakes committed by both goalkeepers this season only.
