Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) gets the shock of her life when she sees Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) hiding out in the ginnel.
The action moves to No. 1, where Rob persuades Tracy to meet his contact and collect his fake passport on his behalf as he plots to escape the Street once and for all.
Mary Taylor (Patti Clare), however, watches as Tracy accepts a package in the ginnel and she grows suspicious, subsequently seeking her colleague out at her home as she knocks on the door.
Tracy fears Mary has rumbled them and thus does her best to get rid but, as Rob tries to make his escape, his legs give way and he screams in pain.
Elsewhere on the Street, Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) makes contact with a dealer, while Ken Barlow (William Roache) is disgusted as he overhears Tracy confirm that missing Cassie spent the night in the ginnel.
Roy Cropper (David Neilson), meanwhile, spots Cassie buying drugs from a dealer at the precinct and he wastes little time intervening, threatening to call the police.
Emotions run high in another drama-filled week on the cobbles in Coronation Street (Picture: ITV)
And Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) is left confused after she calls Mick to sort the electrics following an issue at the hotel.
Mick reveals that the so-called power issue was actually a planned outage. Debbie is taken aback by such information, adamant that she never received an email to notify her of this.
It’s going to be an emotional week.
Coronation Street airs these scenes between Monday, March 17 and Friday, March 21 at 8pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.
