Sekhukhune United have shown former Orlando Pirates left-back Lizo Mjempu the exit door in another coaching change.
Mjempu was the club’s DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team coach but results had not been forthcoming.
Under his watch, Sekhukhune United collected just 26 points from 21 games and they are ninth on the DDC log.
The result that broke the back of the camel was when Mjempu’s boys squandered a 3-1 lead to eventually draw 3-3 with TS Galaxy last week.
Now, Mjempu, who also played for Ajax Cape Town and Moroka Swallows, find himself out in the wilderness.
iDiski Times reports that Kaitano Tembo could be the man to take over from Mjempu until the end of the season.
Tembo is still without an official role at Sekhukhune United after he was asked to step aside when Eric Tinkler arrived with Marc Van Herdeen to take over the first team.

SEKHUKHUNE UNITED PULL THE PLUG ON ANOTHER COACH
“Sekhukhune United have sacked reserve side head coach Lizo Mjempu following a run of poor results,” reads part of the report.
“This publication has established that Sekhukhune management couldn’t take the way the club has been performing anymore and decided to call in Mjempu and broke the news that his services were no longer needed at the club.
“The leading candidate for the job is the experienced Kaitano Tembo, who was the assistant coach of Lehlohonolo Seema in the senior side before the appointment of Eric Tinkler.”
IS THE CLUB CHAIRMAN TRIGGER HAPPY?
