CHIEFS LINKED WITH SUNDOWNS TRIO
Chiefs are in the market for several new players. Interestingly, Sundowns and Chloorkop continues to draw there interest.
Firstly, as mentioned, Amakhosi are planning to make an offer for Bafana Bafana star, Neo Maema.
“As for Sundowns, they are looking at downsizing the squat at the end of the season and Chiefs are believed to be looking to use that window space to pursue Maema. They have apparently been monitering him for sometime now and they have the chance to sign him if Sundowns let him go. So yes it’s true, Chiefs are believed to be pursuing Neo Maema,” the insider stated on SNL.
Meanwhile, as reported on The South African, Chiefs are closely monitoring Terrence Mashego’s situation at Chloorkop. Ultimately, Sundowns will be making a decision on his future at the end of the current season. So, Chiefs are monitering closely with an interest in signing him if he becomes available.
ZWANE FACES UNCERTAIN FUTURE WITH AMAKHOSI LURKING
Themba Zwane has struggled for gametime this season.
Now, Sundowns must make a big decision on the future of the 35-year-old Bafana Bafana veteran. His age, mixed with injuries and the current depth at Chloorkop means that he is not guarenteed regular playing time with the PSL champions.
So, this is a golden opportunity for Chiefs to sign Zwane.
