Donald Trump turned into the world’s highest paid babysitter as he spent time with Elon Musk’s four-year-old son.
The US President was seen hanging out with Musk’s son, X Æ A-Xii, also known as X.
The duo sauntered across the White House lawn after Trump and Musk, now the head of the controversial DOGE department, met in the Oval Office yesterday.
Young X skipped energetically behind the 78-year-old president to keep up with him before Trump suddenly stopped to draw an ‘X’ into the air.
They then walked over to the Marine Force One chopper where Trump, a father-of-five, helped the youngster onto the steps.
The Tesla owner Musk followed soon after the pair.
Dressed in a black black cap and coat, he chatted with the US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, White House communications director Steven Cheung and White House deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security Stephen Miller as the group boarded the helicopter.
Trump, wearing his signature red tie and navy suit, was reportedly on his way to Florida’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
Musk has kept his offspring in the limelight despite pleas from X AE A-XII mother, the Canadian singer Grimes.
Grimes, real name Claire Elise Boucher, previously asked Musk to contact her over a ‘medical crisis’ their child is experiencing, although she did not specify which child.
She made the since-deleted post on X, saying ‘I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation.’
Grimes, who is in a bitter custody battle with the tech billionaire, posted on X subsequently to beg Musk to keep the children from the public eye, Dailymail.com reports.
‘I have tried begging the public and my kids dad to keep them offline, and I’ve tried legal recourse,’ she wrote.
Musk’s Tesla has reportedly taken a hit since he became a special adviser to Trump at the helm of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Tesla showrooms have been targeted by protests and even gunshot fire and the company’s stock has fallen almost 48% since Trump’s inauguration in January.
Meanwhile, Trump’s administration is set to announce a new travel ban and restrictions on dozens of countries, including Russian allies Belarus, North Korea, Iran and Syria.
