The Rich Boyz won 2-0 at the King Zwelithini Stadium thanks to goals from defender Fezile Gcaba in the 48th minute and striker Yanela Mbuthuma in the 72nd minute.

Kaizer Chiefs remained in eighth position in the standings despite their defeat, with 29 points after 22 matches, thanks to eight wins, five draws and nine defeats.

Richards Bay moved up to 11th place with 24 points after 22 games.

Amakhosi’s next match will be away from home against Golden Arrows on Sunday, 30 March at 15:30.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi have confirmed the absence of Rushwin Dortley, who underwent a knee surgery, and he will be out for a while as he joins a few other players who are out with injury.
