LOVE Island legend Idris Virgo has revealed he’s become a dad for the first time and admitted “life has a way of throwing curveballs”.
The reality TV star said it came as a shock as he announced his happy news to his 241,000 followers on social media.
Idris, 32, wrote in his honest message to fans today: “Life has a way of throwing curveballs, and this has been the most unexpected and incredible one yet.
“I’m now a father. I didn’t see this chapter coming, but when life calls, you answer.
“A man’s duty is to show up, protect, and provide—and that’s exactly what I intend to do.
“I’ve been blessed with a beautiful son.”
Idris shared an adorable photo of his newborn son reaching up to hold his little finger.
The snap melted hearts and he was flooded with warm messages from his friends and fans.
2017 Love Islander and All Stars boy Marcel Sommerville wrote back: “Congratulations my G!”
Another follower said: “Blessed and beautiful congratulations everyone.”
The reality star turned boxer found fame on the 2018 series of Love Island.
