Davina McCall has marked a special milestone in her recovery after undergoing brain surgery.
The beloved TV presenter, 57, had an operation on November 15 after a random health check discovered a benign brain tumour.
Davina required a craniotomy to get it removed and was forced to rest after the procedure.
The Big Brother host has been easing herself back into everyday life in recent weeks, including picking her exercise regime back up and going back to work.
Appearing on The One Show on Monday night, she shared with presenters Alex Jones and Vernon Kay that it was her first live TV appearance since the op.
‘We are so pleased to see you,’ Alex began telling her. ‘We haven’t seen you since you had your op to remove a benign tumour, and we were just saying how worried we all were.’

Alex then grabbed the iPad to read out a viewer question, asking: ‘How does it feel to be back at work after your operation?’
‘It feels amazing,’ declared Davina with a smile on her face.
‘I am so happy to be back. It was like the final piece of the jigsaw. I was recovering at home in my bedroom a lot, going for a couple of walks a day, but I was stuck in my bedroom, and it kind of became my safe space.’
Davina admitted that she ‘didn’t want to leave’ her bed and felt ‘a bit nervous’ about going back to TV, leading her to believe she could make ‘excuses’ to pull out of jobs.
But it was a pep talk from hairdresser boyfriend Michael Douglas that gave her the push she needed, as he told her: ‘I know you; I know how much you love work and how much it means to you. I know you’re scared, but this is the final piece of the jigsaw, and I think it’s gonna make a big difference when you go back.’

‘I was so angry with him, but when I went back, at the end of the day I sat in the car and was like, “Yes!”,’ she cheered.
‘It felt so good to see everybody and to be back to normal. It felt like something normal I could do that I love.’
‘It’s a big deal,’ she confessed, stating: ‘First live show today!’
The studio then erupted into cheers and applause as Davina proceeded to discuss her involvement in Friday’s Red Nose Day, which she will host alongside the likes of Alison Hammond, AJ Odudu, Rylan Clark, and Jonathan Ross.
Davina has had the full support of her loved ones and fans throughout her recovery, with plenty of famous faces wishing her well.

During the operation, doctors removed a 14mmm colloid cyst in the middle of her brain, which had caused Davina ‘fogginess and inability to remember’, which she originally put down to menopause.
Thankfully, the procedure went well, as complications could include a stroke or never being able to hold short-term memory beyond five minutes.
In a recent interview, the Long Lost Family host spoke about the aftermath of her surgery and how it’s made her feel ’25 again’ as her mind feels ‘more active’.
The One Show airs weekdays at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
