In a previously unreleased audio, a shocking confession appears to have been made by American movie star Jonathan Majors.

The 35-year-old Marvel actor admits to strangling an ex-girlfriend in the recording, which was taken in September 2022.

Published online today, the 28-second clip captures the aftermath of a lengthy fight between Majors and his partner at the time, professional danger Grace Jabbari.

They had been living together in London as he filmed for season 2 of Loki.

It’s believed he grew angry at Jabbari, who later filed a civil lawsuit accusing him of slamming her into a car before dragging her back inside and strangling her.

The suit has since been settled, but an unearthed audio clip now shows how the following days played out. Majors is yet to publicly speak on the audio leak.

Obtained by Rolling Stone, the audio hears Majors begin: ‘I’m ashamed I’ve ever—I’ve never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I’ve never aggressed a woman—I aggressed you.’

Confronting her then-boyfriend, Jabbari interrupts him with: ‘You strangled me and pushed me against the car.’

‘Yes, all those things are under “aggressed,” yeah. That’s never happened to me,’ Majors replies.

Seemingly offering insight into what caused Majors to snap, Jabbari asks: ‘Because I said something sarcastically, in your eyes?’

‘Well, clearly it’s more than that,’ he tells her.

‘Something inside of you,’ Jabbari states.

‘Yeah, towards you,’ Majors concurs.

The audio then cuts off, and it’s unknown how the conversation continued.

In April last year, Majors avoided jail and was sentenced to probation after being found guilty of assaulting British choreographer Jabbari.

Having been dropped by Marvel, Majors was ordered to complete a 52-week domestic violence intervention programme.

He was convicted of third-degree assault and second-degree harassment in 2023 and initially faced a year behind bars.

A judge ruled that he must also take part in mental health therapy.

In her statement at the time, Jabbari said she had been left in both emotional and physical pain as a result of the incident, which allegedly stemmed from her grabbing his phone after noticing a text message from another woman.

It’s believed the text read: ‘Wish I was kissing you right now.’

After she took the device from him, it’s been said by prosecutors that Majors hit back by twisting her arm and hitting her to snatch it back.

Prosecutors say that when she took the phone, Majors grabbed her, twisted her arm, and hit her in the head to get it back.

Consequently, she was left with a fractured finger, bruises, and a cut behind her ear.

Majors previously vehemently denied assaulting Jabbari and claimed she was the perpetrator of violence against him.

However, after pressing charges, prosecutors thought his story lacked merit.

Reps for Jonathan Majors have been contacted for comment.
