Katie had a terrible time on MAFS Australia 2025, but since the show she’s been absolutely thriving. She and Tim opted to leave the experiment, after he put zero effort into ever making it work.
But honestly, Katie had a lucky escape. By the looks of what’s been said about Tim since, she would have been wasting her time sticking it out with him. On the show, Katie proved she’s nothing short of a queen. She dealt with everything that happened with Tim with grace, and left the process with her head held high.
So since all of that has happened on MAFS Australia 2025, here’s what our girl Katie has been up to.
In her first interview after MAFS Australia, Katie said she’s ‘more than ok’
In her first interview since MAFS Australia, Katie has said she’s doing much better now. Tim is definitely a thing of the past, thank god. Speaking to A Current Affair Australia, she said: “I am more than ok. I was strong before, frustrated during, and even better now. I really want to focus on finding stability, building the foundation, and filling up my self-love cup again and I’ll explore that possibility later.”
Regarding Tim, she added she “feels sorry for the guy” now. Katie said: “I hope he learns and I hope he heals, and I hope he can be better for the next woman, man, who enters his life.”
She still has her businesses!
Ahead of MAFS Australia, Katie was described as a “CEO” – and since the show, she’s kept all that up. She is a highly successful CEO of a chain of restaurants that donates half its profits to charity. Just when I thought I couldn’t love her more?!
She runs a group called EATS – which stands for Empowering All Through Support. There are restaurants across South East Queensland in Carindale, Eumundi, Kawana and Pacific Fair. The food is French-inspired.
Katie also has a new, very MAFS fitting, business venture
Katie has also revealed a new business venture. And, it very much matches her time on MAFS Australia. Katie is creating an online course to help women spot toxic traits in men. She’s been working on the course for at least six months, ever since filming for the show wrapped.
The course, which is free, will teach women to spot toxic traits in potential romantic partners, and to analyse unhealthy patterns in their own past behaviour. Apparently her 48-hour long relationship with Tim was “the catalyst that pushed her to address her issues and learn where they come from”.
A source told Yahoo Lifestyle: “Most people don’t know that Katie has a degree in behavioural science and a major in psychology, and she’s incredibly passionate about using her experiences and self-discoveries to help other women.”
Get it, girl!
Katie has been living it up in Bali
Since the experiment was filmed, Katie has been practicing self-love on a trip to Bali. She documented the holiday on her Instagram. She called herself a “bougie hippie” as she flew first class. Since then, she’s been sharing lots about solo travelling.
She explored Bali, did meditation classes, of course did lots of painting. Katie also revealed she got back to writing a book whilst on the trip. “I was able to flow through where I got stuck last time… was that an unexpected result of day three,” she explained.
I couldn’t be happier for her!
