The ITV schedules are in chaos once again tonight, with Coronation Street and Emmerdale taking the brunt of the changes.
Tonight’s episode of Emmerdale is set to air at the earlier time of 7pm, while Coronation Street has been taken off air entirely.
This is due to coverage of the UEFA Women’s Nations League beginning on ITV1 at 7.30pm.
The football match between England and Belgium will kick-off at 8pm.
Fortunately, Corrie fans haven’t lost out this week, with the usual Friday night episode having aired last night instead.
If you missed it, it is available to watch now on ITVX.
As it stands, everything is back to normal for both ITV soaps next week, with Emmerdale airing at 7.30pm Monday to Friday, followed by Corrie at 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
It’s set to be a busy week on both soaps next week.
In Emmerdale, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) finds herself in trouble with the police, while Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) move into their new home.
Elsewhere, the pressure is on for John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) after he makes a mistake at work, and Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) loses her job when her stealing comes to light.

Over on the cobbles, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) is floored when she is told she likely has dementia, while Abi Webster (Sally Carman) makes a new acquaintance.
Also, Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) continues to struggle in the aftermath of her birth trauma, while Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) is hit with bad news.
Next year, both Coronation Street and Emmerdale are set to face permanent changes, as the output of episodes is reduced.
From 2026, Emmerdale will air at 8pm Monday to Friday, followed by half an hour of Corrie at 8.30pm.
The changes come as a result of research into audience viewing habits, with bosses labelling the new schedule as a ‘soap power hour’.
