Kate Garraway was left gobsmacked after Alison Hammond appeared to spoil her Great Celebrity Bake Off performance.
The Good Morning Britain star is one of the famous faces stepping into the iconic tent to raise money and awareness for Stand Up 2 Cancer this year, but presenter Alison has suggested it didn’t go to plan.
On Friday’s episode of GMB, Kate insisted her spell on the show ‘was so much fun’, only for showbiz reporter Richard Arnold to joke about her being in last place.
‘Don’t give it away though,’ Kate teased after looking a little embarrassed, before Alison howled: ‘What, that you lost?!’
The 57-year-old star held back laughter as she looked ashamed at the blunt assessment of her baking skills.

Of course, while it appears that Alison may have spoiled the results of the show, they could have just been poking fun at their pal.

Richard insisted people shouldn’t be surprised by his co-star’s lack of baking prowess because her ‘car is like a skip’, while Alison joked that head judge Paul Hollywood went easy on Kate.
‘I think Paul Hollywood has a little soft spot for our Kate,’ she chucked. ‘Sometimes it would be a hot mess and he’d be like, “It’s amazing!” Are you seeing the same thing I’m seeing?!’
Alison insisted she ‘mesmerised him to the point where he didn’t know what he was doing’, while Kate joked her tactic was to ‘blind people with enough enthusiasm’.
It doesn’t sound all bad though, as Alison insisted the GMB presenter’s bakes ‘taste amazing’, while Kate argued: ‘How do you go from zero to brilliant in about 10 days?’
She’ll be joined on this year’s celeb spinoff by Chicken Shop Date creator Amelia Dimoldenberg, Goodness Gracious Me star Meera Syal and comedian Phil Wang.

Podcaster Sarah Beeny, comedian Adam Buxton, sibling duo Scarlette and Stuart Douglas, author Ellie Goldstein, TV star Gloria Hunniford OBE and Ghosts star Jim Howick make up the middle bulk of famed bakers.
And the lineup finishes off strong with Bafta winner Gbemisola Ikumelo, radio presenter Roman Kemp, writer Jamali Maddix and Dinnerladies icon Maxine Peake.
They’ll be joined by broadcasting duo Chris and Rosie Ramsey, music artist Self Esteem, Derry Girls actor Tommy Tiernan and British actor Sophie Willan.
There will also be a new face in the tent as Dame Prue Leith has been replaced by longtime friend Caroline Waldegrave.

Caroline, a former Managing Director and co-owner of Leiths School of Food and Wine, is stepping in for her pal after she decided to take a break fro the celebrity version to pursue other passions.
‘[The one] I’m not doing this year is the celebrity one and it’s mainly because these things are filmed back-to-back the whole way through the summer,’ she said on This Morning last year.
‘You start in April, and you end in August and honestly, you get no time off. And so, I’m getting a bit old and there are places I want to go to and other things I want to do.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV1. The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer returns to Channel 4 on Sunday, March 16 at 7:40pm.
