Amazon Prime Video viewers have just days to catch up on an ‘outstanding’ series ahead of the season one finale.

House of David launched on the streaming service on February 27, and so far, five of the eight episodes have dropped.

With the final episode landing on April 3, and more than 22,000,000 views in its first 17 days of streaming, Amazon Prime Video fans have just over two weeks to binge the show so far.

The biblical drama follows the rise of Old Testament figure David, a king of ancient Israel and Judah, bringing him to life on screens.

It stars Michael Iskander in the titular role and Martyn Ford as Goliath, as well as Indy Lewis, Ali Suliman and Davood Ghadami.

The series begins with the fall of King Saul, and the prophet Samuel anointing young shepherd David as the new king.

‘At the direction of God, the prophet Samuel anoints an unlikely, outcast teenager as the new king. As one leader falls, another must rise.’

Despite only watching half of the first season, fans have branded the show ‘outstanding’, giving it an impressive 89% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
