Douglas Kiker, a former American Idol contestant best known as ‘The Singing Garbage Man’ has sadly died aged 32.

Kiker appeared on the singing competition in 2020 during the 18th season of the show.

The singer auditioned with Rascal Flatts’ Bless the Broken Road and memorably brought judge Katy Perry to tears with his voice, receiving a standing ovation from the judges.
