Beloved car garage forced to CLOSE as owner left ‘completely broken’ by parking row that’s made business ‘unviable’

A POPULAR car garage is being forced to close following a longstanding parking row, which has left the owner “completely broken”.

Tony Evens, who has run Mount Street Garage, in Bishops Lydeard, Somerset, for the last 20 years, has been forced to shut up shop after a parking row escalated and left him with fines of £400.

The Village Hall car park has space for up to 70 cars but has now enforced parking restrictions which are affecting Tony’s business[/caption]

The mechanic has parked customer cars that are awaiting collection in the car park across the road for years but the Village Hall Committee, who own the car park, is no longer allowing cars to be parked there.

They have since erected ANPR cameras in the car park, resulting in Tony’s customers receiving fines on their cars.

Despite numerous back and forth with the committee, the situation has not been resolved and now Tony says he’s done.

The mechanic, who suffers from high blood pressure, told The Sun: “I’m done, they have jeopardised my business and they don’t seem to care. I’ve had to close the workshop because of this and I am broken.”

“I was hoping for a little bit of support from them. They are ripping out the heart of the village. The butcher has gone, the hardware store has gone, the post office has gone and now the workshop.”

“I’ve had to make the decision to shut the workshop and lay off staff. There’s no one left, just me and my friend. I have closed it and I’m not taking on anymore business and I will be physically closing it this Friday.”

‘ABSOLUTELY BROKEN’

Tony claims he spoke to a member of the committee last year warning them that the cameras would have a knock on effect on his business but was allegedly told: “It’s happening so deal with it.”

He said: “They don’t seem to see the bigger picture. They have the funny idea that people are parking in the car park and catching the bus.”

“I am absolutely broken, all the fight has gone from me now, I’m normally a fighter but this has broken me.”

“It wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t do so much for them over the years. I’ve never charged them, I’ve just fixed things for them in the community spirit, which they don’t seem to have.”

“I’ve paid rent ever since I’ve been there… so it is not as if I’m not paying my dues.”

A concerned member of the town has since written into the Somerset Country Gazette, expressing her upset over the whole situation.

Tara Morris has called for the committee to show some “flexibility” to a “hardworking business owner” and find a “pragmatic solution”.

According to the garage’s Facebook group, the garage offers MOTs and servicing, batteries, tyres and bodywork, as well as having a well stocked shop.

Last July, Tony shared a post on the page, warning the community about the car park restrictions.

He wrote: “Just a heads up… the village hall car park is being fitted with amp cameras, so now one is allowed to park for more than 5 hours at any one time. If this is the case, it will directly affect my business and may force me to close, as unfortunately this is unworkable.”

‘ALL THE FIGHT HAS GONE FROM ME’

Residents responded in support of Tony, with one saying “this is absolutely ludicrous and totally unnecessary”, while another said “sounds like a jobs worth on the committee”.

Four years ago, Tony’s garage made headlines after he awarded one of his mechanics a special gift to celebrate an impressive stint working at the garage.

Graham Moore, 78, worked at Mount Street Garage for 63 years and Tony gifted him a sundial to mark the milestone.

At the time, Mr Moore told Somerset Country Gazette: “I have known Tony since he was a boy, he was my apprentice. He always told me he wanted to get me something but he didn’t know what and then he came up with this and it was lovely.

Mr Moore has since spoken out about the workshop closing, telling Tony he is “cutting off a piece of my life”.

When approached for comment, the Village Hall Committee said: “We have done all we can to accommodate the garage’s needs.”

They explained that restrictions are enforced due to the fact that “for some time, the VHMC had been concerned about the amount of ‘unauthorised all-day parking’ taking place within the hall’s car park. This resulted, on occasions, with no parking spaces for genuine hall users.

“It was decided to solve this problem by employing Car Park Management to install and operate a car parking system based upon an ANPR camera.”

Under the restrictions, cars cannot park overnight between midnight and 7.30am and car parking is restricted to a maximum of five hours.

Their exemptions do include a mention of Mount Street Garage, stating: “Mount Street Garage will be able to electronically authorise and implement an exemption from these restrictions for their customer’s vehicles for one day only between 07:30 and 19:00 for 7 days a week.”

But Tony maintains that these e-permits are not sufficient enough as some of his customers are not able to get back to collect their cars within the parking window, especially if they work out of the area.

He said: “I’ve had customers come to me for simple work, their car is then parked in the car park and they get a £100 fine because they haven’t been able to collect it in time. They then come to me and say they’re taking their car somewhere else because they don’t want another fine. So it has a knock on effect on my business.”

Discussing what’s next for him, Tony said: “I’ve now got to circle the wagons and see where I go from here. I’ve had the plot on the market for a very long time but no one has taken an interest. I might have to look at making the shop bigger instead.

“It’s a very sad day, the garage has been here since 1908 and it is one of the longest and oldest garages in the area.”

Following their victory the couple appeared on The Morning After podcast to speak to host and series five star Amy Hart

Amy, 31, said: “You’re about to have a little windfall into your bank – fifty grand, twenty five grand each, what are you going to spend it on?”

Gabby replied: “I didn’t even know that was a thing until just now! I didn’t know that’s what you won.”

Amy quizzed: “Did they ask for your bank details, like, ‘we’ll transfer you’.”

A stunned Gabby said: “Yeah! It was literally that.”

Revealing their plans for the winnings, Casey – who appeared as a bombshell on series nine and the first All-Stars spin-off before his late entrance this year – said: “We’ve got to go away.

“Somewhere nice. I think we’ll go to the Maldives.”

Happy with her man’s answer, Gabby nodded and added: “Sexy.”

She continued: “The first thing that came into my head was that I’d like to do something nice with my mum, take her on holiday as well.”

Speaking ahead of their victory last night, Casey told Love Island host Maya Jama: “I absolutely adore her.

“She has just blown me off my socks since I got here.

“As soon as that first conversation I had with her, it was game over for me.”

Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon’s son, 17, named in rival nation’s squad and could face England within days

THE SON of Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon has received his first international call-up… for another country.

Louis Buffon, 17, is a midfielder plying his trade in Italy for Pisa’s youth side.

But he is best known as the son of iconic former goalkeeper Gigi Buffon, who made over 1,000 professional appearances during his glittering career.

The 47-year-old played for Parma, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain over the course of 28 years before retiring in 2023.

And now his son Louis is hoping to continue his family legacy in Italian football with Serie B side Pisa.

The winger is yet to make a senior appearance for the club but has impressed with four goals in 19 youth outings this term.

As a reward, Louis has now been handed his first-ever U18 international call-up.

But he has NOT been selected by Italy.

Dad Buffon played 176 times for his country before retiring in 2018, helping them win the World Cup in 2006.

However, Louis’ mother Alena Seredova hails from the Czech Republic.

She and Buffon Snr were together for nine years before they parted ways in 2014.

And as a result of his mother’s nationality, Louis is a dual citizen of Italy and Czechia.

Now, the latter have called him up to their U18s squad for the first time.

Louis would still be available to eventually play for Italy, with only senior competitive caps cementing a national team position for a footballer’s entire career.

But his decision to accept the nod indicates Louis plans on eventually representing his mother’s country over his father’s.

The teen could now make his debut against England next month.

The two sides meet on March 21 in a friendly, although the venue is yet to be confirmed.

Yet Louis will have to have some career to match his father’s achievements, with Buffon Snr also playing 975 club games on top of his mega international record.

Buffon started at Parma in 1995 and won an Italian Cup, Italian Super Cup and Uefa Cup before joining Juventus in 2001.

He made 656 appearances for the Bianconeri, winning nine Serie A titles, a Serie B title, five Italian Cups and six Italian Super Cups.

Buffon then made a surprise move to Paris Saint-Germain for the 2018/19 campaign, playing 25 times and winning the Ligue 1 title before returning to Juventus.

He made a further 29 appearances in Turin while winning a tenth Serie A title before rejoining Parma in 2021.

And after 45 games in Serie B for his boyhood club, Buffon called it a day nearly two years ago.

A representative for Kieran said: “The couple separated on good terms and remain close with their focus first on their son Apollo.”

Kieran was stepdad to Michelle’s son Valentino, 14, while she was stepmum to his kids with Kate: Bunny, 10, and Jett, 11.

The couple started dating in 2018 after meeting at the primary school their children attended.

Their relationship quickly blossomed and Kieran popped the question in 2020 on a luxury holiday in the Maldives.

He previously called Michelle his “perfect match” and they have appeared loved-up together in many social media posts over the years.

Back in 2023, they even sparked more pregnancy rumours as they put on a loved-up display in a new snap.

Their time together wasn’t without its drama though, and Michelle had a fractious relationship with Katie.

Former glamour girl Katie dodged jail in 2022 for breaking a restraining order when she called Michelle a “gutter s**g” in a text.

The five-year restraining order against Michelle was issued in 2019 for calling her rival a “f*****g c**t” and “fat” at the school gates in front of kids, parents and a teacher.

Former flight attendant Michelle slammed the sentence, saying it sent the wrong message.

She told The Sun at the time: “I feel like there’s no deterrent, that’s what I’m worried about.

“You never want anyone to go to prison, but you do need to have consequences for your actions. What kind of example is it setting?

“The message this has sent out is, you can break a restraining order and get just a fine and community service.

“Especially to the youth – there’s people who idolise her who’ll think if she can get away with it, why can’t I?

Katie Price - FOUR recent court battles

KATIE Price has had her fair share of brushes with the law. Here we detail four of those:

“I’m a strong woman, I have two children, so we have to hopefully put this behind us.”

She was also quick to slam the former glamour model as “toxic and jealous.”

Michelle also called out Katie’s “crazy” lifestyle in a swiftly-deleted post which questioned the I’m A Celeb star’s parenting.

After trading blows with Katie, Michelle and Kieran even planned to flee for an extra special holiday to get away from the drama.

The incredible event was adorned with floral arches, a DJ to get people dancing, channel bags, wads of cash and even Disney characters to say hello to the kids.

Parents of the christened girl, Maureen, Eileen and Fono, who are from the Traveller community, hired London-based DJ Andrea Shillingford to entertain guests well into the evening after a ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Dunstable.

And the DJ didn’t forget to document the night for her own Facebook fans.

Andrea shared a trailer and live video of the event which was viewed over 33k times and organised by Extravagant Events.

The DJ said that the party had the ‘best atmosphere’ and was absolutely ‘stunning,’ and we couldn’t agree more.

The video shows close friends and family of Maureen, who will be approaching her first birthday, with celebrations starting at the church before making their way to the private venue in style.

The newborn is already winning at life as she was gifted a baby pink Chanel handbag after the ceremony.

Another clip shows the tot lying down surrounded in piles of cash instead of blankets which are typically given at christenings.

The parents pulled out all the stops to celebrate the big day, hiring a white Rolls Royce to get to the party venue and getting a giant pink tiered cake that towered above them for everyone to enjoy.

Those attending lined their stomachs with plates of hot food before DJ Andrea Shillingford took her place on the decks to blast tunes and get the party started.

The parents first sat and watched the success of their party on gold thrones before making their way to the dancefloor.

With the party now in full swing, they had Disney characters and princesses like Ariel come out and say hello to the children.

While the videos shared to Andrea’s Facebook page only show a small glimpse of the party, we’re sure it carried on well into the night.

Traditions in the gypsy/traveller communities

Nomadic lifestyle: Traditionally, many travellers maintain a nomadic lifestyle, living in caravans and moving frequently. This mobility is a core aspect of their identity, reflecting a deep connection to freedom and independence.

Strong family bonds: Family is central to traveller culture. Extended families often live and travel together, providing a strong support network. Marriages and social events are significant community affairs, reinforcing familial ties.

Distinct Language: Many travellers speak Shelta, also known as Cant or Gammon, a distinct language that mixes elements of Irish, English, and other languages. This language serves as a cultural marker and a means of private communication within the community.

Religious practices: The traveller community often follows Roman Catholicism, with religious festivals and milestones like baptisms, communions, and weddings being particularly significant. However, individual beliefs and practices can vary widely.

Unique celebrations: Events such as horse fairs and traditional weddings are major social gatherings for travellers. These occasions are marked by elaborate preparations, vibrant attire, and communal participation.

The live video went viral with thousands of people tuning in to watch the happy family celebrate and were quick to congratulate them in the comments of the post.

One person wrote: “That’s how you do a christening.”

Another commented: “What a fantastic time, you all look amazing.”

“Looks like everyone had a fantastic time,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “What a gorgeous party.”

“Congratulations,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Absolutely brilliant.”

I had ‘vagina Botox’ to cure embarrassing problem – but the impact on my sex life has been the biggest change

SITTING at her desk and feeling an aggressive tickle in her throat, Nicola Mannakee suddenly began to panic – she knew exactly what was about to happen, and she was powerless to stop it.

Sure enough, no sooner had she coughed, she felt a familiar warm trickle as a little bit of wee came out – leaving the mortified office manager scuttling to the bathroom.

Woman in floral dress and mint shawl, outdoors at sunset.
Nicola was forced to wear panty liners every day, and even a cough could cause an issue

Ever since she turned 30, Nicola had suffered from stress incontinence.

It meant every single time she coughed, sneezed or even laughed she would temporarily lose control of her bladder.

She had to constantly wear incontinence panty liners as a result, which would need to be changed multiple times a day.

But Nicola, from London, is far from alone.

According to incontinence UK, the health issue affects around 300m people worldwide – about five per cent of the population.

Bladder and Bowel UK estimate around 14 million people in the UK suffer from incontinence problems.

Like many, it was an embarrassing problem Nicola, now 41, suffered with for nearly a decade in silence.

That was before she discovered a revolutionary vaginal rejuvenation treatment – a gentle, non-invasive therapy using radio frequency to stimulate collagen and improve blood flow.

This type of treatment – of which there are several different options – is sometimes referred to as ‘vagina Botox’.

Senior Consultant Midwife Arezou at Sadaf Jaffari Clinic says: “Just as Botox can tighten skin by relaxing muscles in the face, Morpheus8V uses radio frequency energy to stimulate collagen production and tighten vaginal and pelvic tissues.

“This can result in improved tone and firmness in the vaginal area, which is why it’s sometimes compared to Botox.

“It can help improve the appearance of the vulva, making it look more youthful and toned by reducing sagging or changes due to ageing.”

Nicola suffered with stress incontinence ever since she hit her thirties, and it became a daily issue

‘It made me feel so ashamed’

Incontinence wasn’t an issue for Nicola until she was in her early thirties, but it then became an embarrassing problem that dogged her for nearly a decade.

Nicola, who lives with her husband of 12 years, says: “I basically suffered from stress continence throughout my thirties until I had treatment.

“The first time it happened – I think I was either at work or at home one day – and I had a really bad coughing fit and a little bit of wee came out. I just couldn’t stop it.

“I was absolutely mortified, it was such a shock. My bladder just seemed weaker from then on.

“It made me feel so ashamed. Incontinence, especially if you’re young, is just so ‘taboo’ and just not something people talk about openly.

“It would happen daily, and I’d have to wear daily panty liners just in case – I was terrified I was going to end up having to wear horrible adult nappies as I got a bit older if I didn’t find a treatment.”

Going into the store and buying incontinence panty liners in my thirties was inconvenient and annoying, and I didn’t understand what caused it.

Nicola

There are several types of urinary incontinence including stress incontinence, which is when urine leaks out at times when your bladder is under pressure; for example, when you cough or laugh.

It can be caused by pregnancy or childbirth, increasing age, obesity or a family history of the condition.

For Nicola, she’s never been sure exactly what caused the issue.

She says: “I’ve never had children or been pregnant, so I’m not sure what caused it or if it’s just from stress.

“I think women getting older it’s just something that happens, and obviously it happens a lot with pregnancy – but I was so young.

“Going into the store and buying incontinence panty liners in my thirties was inconvenient and annoying, and I didn’t understand what caused it.”

What is stress incontinence?

  • Stress incontinence is when urine leaks out at times when your bladder is under pressure; for example, when you cough or laugh.
  • It’s also possible to have a mixture of both stress and urge urinary incontinence – which is when urine leaks as you feel a sudden, intense urge to pee, or soon afterwards.
  • Stress incontinence is usually the result of the weakening of or damage to the muscles used to prevent urination, such as the pelvic floor muscles and the urethral sphincter.

Certain things can increase the chances of urinary incontinence, including:

  • pregnancy and vaginal birth
  • obesity
  • a family history of incontinence
  • increasing age – although incontinence is not an inevitable part of ageing

It’s not always possible to prevent urinary incontinence, but there are some steps you can take that may help reduce the chance of it happening. These include:

For more information on urinary incontinence, the symptoms and treatments available, visit the NHS website here.

‘Every time I would basically wee a little bit’

From there the problem got progressively worse, until it was happening daily – sometimes multiple times a day.

She says: “I tried everything. I did pilates and pelvic floor exercises and tried exercise instruments, which did help a bit but it wasn’t enough.

“If I coughed or sneezed I’d try crossing my legs to stop the problem, but nothing seemed to really work. It was really frustrating. ”

Sometimes it was unavoidable. Nicola adds: “Every time I coughed it would happen, or even if I sneezed, or laughed.

“It would also happen if I went running, or jumped on a trampoline – every time I would basically wee a little bit.

“It would happen everyday, sometimes up to four times a day if I had a cough, so I’d wear daily pantyliners just in case.

“I could easily go through two or three panty liners a day – a few boxes a month – so I always made sure I had a stash, just in case. It was embarrassing, and I just tried not to talk about it.”

‘I’d be mortified’

Nicola learned how to deal with the problem privately – but it was a source of great embarrassment.

She says: “If I was in public when it happened I’d be mortified. A few times I had to stop what I was doing, leave and just go home.

“I’m in the office a lot, so that was the main worry.

“One time I was at work, and I was wearing light coloured jeans, and it happened and the wet patch was clearly visible.

“I couldn’t change or dry my jeans out or anything obviously, so I had to just go home. Thankfully I was wearing a long jacket so I could cover it up.”

Over the years Nicola got used to the problem and learned to deal with it on her own.

She says: “My partner knew about it since we got together and was supportive, but we just didn’t really talk about it, and I generally chose to deal with it on my own.

“It would impact sex as I felt like I couldn’t relax properly and be in the moment – I was always worried it would happen.”

Nicola didn’t really talk about her problem at all with anyone until she was in her forties.

She says: “It seemed like women’s health issues and the menopause became more acceptable to talk about. I then realised how common the problem actually is.”

After trying vaginal rejuvenation treatment Nicola noticed the results immediately

‘The results have been life-changing’

Two years ago, Nicola finally discovered a treatment that gave her hope for a panty-liner free way of living.

She says: “My best friend told me about this new treatment and I just said ‘sign me up’.

“I was willing to try anything, if there was a chance it would work.”

The specific therapy Nicola had was the empower Inmode vaginal rejuvenation Morpheus8V treatment and V-Tone pelvic floor stimulation, which she started a year ago.

The results have been life-changing… It’s been a game-changer really.

Nicola

Now, Nicola has had four out of the recommended six sessions, which cost around £950 a session but can vary – and her stress incontinence has completely gone.

Arezou at Sadaf Jaffari Clinic adds: “The treatment uses radio frequency energy to stimulate collagen production and tighten the tissues in the vaginal and pelvic floor area.

“By stimulating the deeper layers of the skin and tissues, Morpheus8V helps to strengthen pelvic floor muscles, enhance collagen production and improve tissue elasticity.

“This leads to better support for the bladder, reducing the likelihood of involuntary urine leakage.”

Nicola says: “It’s been amazing. It’s been a game changer really.

“The results have been life-changing. The treatment I had is like micro-needling with radio frequency, using a wand that goes in.

“You can’t really feel it, and I no longer suffer from incontinence at all.

“Touch wood, I haven’t had to buy a single incontinence pad since the beginning of last year and have had no accidents.

“I got it free as I volunteered to do it for training but I know it’s not cheap – around £950 a session. But it’s worth every penny and should be more available.

“The doctor I see swears by it and has actually been trying to push for this to be available on the NHS for years now. Every maternity ward should have it available for women with vaginal birth.

“Women have to put up with so much already with menopause, pain and periods – but  we should be made more aware of what treatment options are out there, and they should be more readily available on the NHS, as it’s not cheap.”

Happily, it’s also had a positive impact on Nicola’s sex life with her partner, who has also noticed a positive change.

She adds: “Before I couldn’t enjoy sex as much, so I’ve definitely seen a change there.

“I feel more, and when we’re intimate now I can focus on being in the moment, whereas before my mind was somewhere else and I felt uncomfortable.

“I’ve definitely got more of a spring in my step now!”

Top tips

If you're struggling with incontinence, there are some things you can do to help control it.

Strengthen your pelvic floor muscles: Having a strong and flexible pelvic floor will help you to hold on in the times you need it most.

Make sure you’re doing your Kegels correctly: Performing a contraction of the pelvic floor correctly is essential

Take care of your bladder: Stay wrapped up nice and warm and reduce your intake of bladder irritants, such as caffeine and alcohol.

Speak to your doctor for support: If you are experiencing urine leaks or notice you are passing urine more frequently during the day or night which is impacting your daily life, seek support from your GP. You don’t have to suffer in silence.

NHS guide to pelvic floor muscles

  • Squeeze and draw in your back passage as if you’re holding in wind.
  • Squeeze around your vagina and bladder tube (urethra) as if you’re stopping the flow of urine or squeezing during intercourse.
  • Now relax. This is a short squeeze. Rest for a second, then repeat these squeezes until you feel the muscles get tired.
  • After a short rest, squeeze again as above. This time, hold the squeeze for as long as you can, but no longer than 10 seconds, then relax.
  • It’s important to keep breathing normally while you do these exercises. Make sure you don’t pull in your stomach or squeeze your buttocks when you squeeze.
  • Aim to build up to 10 repeats of each exercise, four to six times a day.

She and her husband have been described as Dubai’s Barbie and Ken and previously, the now mum-of-two revealed that she married for money and now has the ultimate life that many would be extremely jealous of.

Malaikah’s millionaire husband treats her to a lavish lifestyle, including weekly shopping trips for designer bags, shoes and clothes, which she loves to flaunt online.

Not only this, but Malaikah also has luxury nail salon visits and first class air travel paid for her too.

Living in the influencer hotspot, Malaikah, who met her now-hubby in 2017, claimed that she charged her partner £3million to have their second child, a baby girl.

Posting on social media, Malaikah uploaded a short clip with the caption ‘An expensive baby girl’ and said: “How much did I charge my husband to give him our second baby?”

First things first, Malaikah claimed: “First up, we have a customised pink G-Wagon as my push present for giving him a baby girl and of course, I need a nice ride when I’m gonna be going out with her.”

Not only this, but she then added: “$2million [£1.5million] on a new home because our family is obviously getting bigger and we need more space.

“$1million [£795,000] on renovations and interior design to change the lighting, flooring, and also to make a customised pool, because I’m not leaving the house to go swimming.”

In addition to their new property and extensive renovations, Malaikah continued: “$100,000 [£79,400] on eight Dior bags for her collection and $80,000 [£64,000] on a new Van Cleef collection for her, because she’s gonna be taking this down the generations and passing it on because it’s so timeless.

“$80,000 [£7,940] on daily postpartum massages for a month for me and baby girl because I need to recover from giving birth and a monthly budget of 80,000 [£39,700] for her wardrobe to spend on designer clothing, of course.”

In Malaikah’s short clip, she gave her followers a close-up look at the baby clothes in Fendi that she made her man buy.

But that’s not all, as she also made her husband buy their baby a $200,000 [£160,000] customised tennis bracelet, as well as $70,000 [£55,580] which went towards purchasing gold jewellery for her.

And to top it all off, Malaikah also claimed that she made her husband splash cash on a new car, as well as a personal driver for himself, worth $150,000 [£119,000], so that she can be driven around on days where her G-Wagon doesn’t cut the mustard, all of which comes to an eye-watering total of £3million.

Social media users react

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @malaikahraja, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 116,500 views in just 16 hours.

Social media users were left totally stunned by Malaikah’s claims and many flocked to the comments to share their thoughts on her extreme wealth.

Biggest skincare trends for 2025

Face The Future’s Head of Clinic, Kimberley Medd, shared the five skincare trends predicted to take off in 2025.

1. Exosomes

Exosomes are the buzzword for 2025, taking advanced skin regeneration to new heights. These micro-messengers signal skin cells to repair damage, boost collagen, and accelerate recovery, and they’re a gamechanger for targeting ageing.

2. Streamlined Skincare

The age of 12-step routines is fading as consumers shift to more intentional, multi-functional products. Streamlining skincare not only saves time but also reduces the risk of overloading your skin. In 2025, we’ll see a rise in hybrid products that combine active ingredients for simplified, effective results.

3. Vegan Collagen

Plant-based collagen will dominate the skincare world this year, providing a sustainable, ethical alternative to traditional animal-derived collagen. Expect vegan collagen in everything from moisturisers to serums.

4. The Rise Of AI

AI is revolutionising the beauty landscape, making it possible for consumers to get truly personalised skincare solutions. In 2025, we predict a dramatic shift towards AI-powered tools that help people understand their skin on a deeper level.

5. Hair Loss Solutions –

Hair loss is an issue that affects more men than we often realise, and it’s no longer just something we’re talking about behind closed doors. This year, expect to see a continued rise in demand for treatments that not only tackle hair loss but also nurture overall scalp health.
