They played lovers in the 2018 film The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

In the movie the two actors played a married couple living in the aftermath of World War II.

Despite the film coming out seven years ago, last night the pair showed that they were still great mates as they left a BAFTA party together.

The two stars looked in fine spirits as they headed out into the night.

Lily looked stunning in her black top and matching skirt, that showed off her toned stomach.

At one point, Glen chivalrously gave Lily his grey suit jacket as they walked to their waiting car.

The pair were then seen laughing an joking in the back of their taxi and they headed off together.

It’s unknown where they went, and if they went on to another party or home.

Meanwhile, Glen has previously talked about getting close to an actress, while they are playing onscreen lovers.

It came after he was linked to Sydney Sweeney during the filming of Anyone But You, a few years ago.

The Top Gun: Maverick actor later told the New York Times: “The two things that you have to sell a romcom are fun and chemistry.

Sydney and I have a ton of fun together and we have a ton of effortless chemistry.

“That’s people wanting what’s on the screen off the screen, and sometimes you just have to lean into a bit — and it worked wonderfully.”

LILY’S PAST LOVES

Since her rise to fame on Downton Abbey, Lily James has become one of Britain’s biggest actresses, thanks to her work on the big and small screen.

But the Hollywood star has often found her dating life overshadow her acting career.

Lily dated actor Jack Fox, of the famous Fox Family Dynasty, back in 2011.

He is the younger brother of Laurence Fox, and cousin of Emilia Fox.

Lily then was in a relationship with The Crown star Matt Smith for five years from 2014.

They split up in 2019 after their relationship hit a rocky patch.

The actress then was linked to actor Dominic West.

Although Lily wasn’t officially dating the married movie star, that didn’t stop the rumour mill going into overdrive when they were spotted getting cosy in Italy in October 2020.

The pair went to Rome, where their mutual agent Angharad Wood was staying, in a bid to escape the spotlight – but pictures emerged of them cuddling up.

After the pictures emerged of the pair looking cosy, Dominic arranged an awkward photo opportunity with Catherine outside the family home in Wiltshire.

Lily’s last known relationship was with rocker Michael Shuman.

However, after two years together they decided to split up.

‘I don’t know if that’s smart or not’ says Emma Raducanu as Brit tennis ace reveals strange habit

EMMA RADUCANU revealed that she is a “night owl” after beating Maria Sakkari in Dubai.

The British tennis star, 21, snapped a four-match losing streak by beating the Greek 6-4 6-2.

Raducanu was understandably in a jolly mood after winning her Dubai opener.

During her on-court interview, she revealed what she has particularly appreciated about the United Arab Emirates city.

She said: “It’s my first time spending a little bit of time here and I’ve really enjoyed it.

“What I love most is that everything is open late, and I’m a big night owl, so I can go for my walks at like 11pm.

“I don’t know if that is smart or not…”

The world No.61 had lost first round matches in Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Qatar since reaching the Australian Open third round.

She was initially down to enter qualifying in Dubai, before being granted a wildcard into the strong field.

World No.29 Sakkari has proven to be a good opponent for Raducanu in the past.

Raducanu beat the former world No.3 in the semi-finals on the way to winning the U.S. Open in 2021.

While she also knocked her out at Wimbledon last summer.

On why she tends to have joy against Sakkari, having won all six of their sets contested, Raducanu said: “In a way we play quite similar. She’s really athletic.

“I’m not necessarily going to give all my tactics away but it’s a very difficult match every time we play.

“I’m happy to have won on these occasions and very happy to get to the next round.”

Raducanu will next face former Roland Garros finalist Karolina Muchova in round two.

The Czech star comfortably beat Suzan Lammens 6-2 6-2 in her opener.

Raducanu has been working with Jane O’Donoghue in Dubai, having periodically turned to her former mentor when between coaches in the past.

Last month Nick Cavaday stepped down as Raducanu’s coach due to health reasons, with a permanent replacement yet to be appointed.

On Raducanu’s coaching situation, former star Laura Robson said: “I don’t think she’s going to rush into it.

“Just from an outsider’s point of view, I don’t think she would want to rush into it.

“It’s got to be the right person because I know if she goes for someone and then ends up changing them again quickly, everyone will go nuts.”

Harrowing accounts of Hamas terrorists raping hostages at gunpoint & whipping genitals revealed as war reaches 500th day

AS Israeli missiles blitzed Gaza day after day, it wasn’t the risk of being killed that terrified hostages.

It was the fear of being raped by depraved Hamas thugs.

Women, children and men were brutalised by Hamas terrorists from the moment they swept across the border amid the October 7 atrocity and unleashed total hell on Israel.

Vile terrorists captured 251 hostages, many of who were subjected to unspeakably warped treatment – including sexual violence.

Harrowing evidence of sexual abuse has been collected – painting a damning picture of the callous actions of Hamas brutes both on October 7 and in the 16 months since.

Brave victims such as Amit Soussna have spoken out about their ordeal since their release.

And witness accounts reveal the true horrors of Hamas’ campaign of intimidation – including of two teenagers who were forced to perform sexual acts on each other and abused by their captor.

With the final hostages now being released amid a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, more and more shocking testimonies are coming to light.

At least 70 hostages still remain captive in Gaza 500 days on from October 7 amid fears for their health.

But Israeli professor Yifat Bitton told The Sun that with dozens of victims killed and held in solitude, and crucial evidence destroyed, the real extent of Hamas’ crimes may never be revealed.

Evidence of sexual violence on October 7

The eyes of the world turned to the Middle East on October 7, 2023, as callous Hamas terrorists launched a horrifying raid on Israel.

Unforgiving thugs tore through kibbutzes, military bases and a festival – killing more than 1,200 people.

The attack caught Israel off guard as gun-toting Hamas killers wreaked havoc across the border.

Brutal gunmen not only killed their victims, but also subjected many of them to monstrous sexual violence.

In some haunting cases, women were raped, mutilated and murdered.

Footage shot the day after October 7 by a woman searching for her missing friend at the scene of the Nova festival, where hundreds were massacred, provides one of the most key pieces of evidence of sexual violence by Hamas.

The traumatic, grainy clip, showed a woman laying on her back with her dress torn, legs apart and her vagina exposed.

Her right hand covered her eyes, and her face burnt beyond recognition.

Known initially as “the woman in the black dress”, her identity was later revealed as mum-of-two Gal Abdush.

Panicked Gal had become trapped on Route 232 as she and thousands of others frantically tried to flee the festival.

A tragic final WhatsApp message to her family read: “You don’t understand.”

Israeli police officials believe she was raped before she was killed.

Supernova massacre survivor Yuval Sharvit Trabelsi meanwhile told how she witnessed rape while trying to escape.

In a video broadcast at an October 7 memorial at Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park, she said: “We saw murder, kidnappings, but the hardest of them all was rape.

“I have never heard screams for help like the ones I heard from that woman.”

She went on to recount how she smeared herself with her husband’s blood so that the terrorists would think she was dead.

Professor Bitton, who compiled a compelling report on how Hamas weaponised sexual violence on October 7, said much of the evidence of rape was missed initially as areas attacked were treated as war zones, rather than crime scenes.

First responders prioritised saving lives and taking the bodies of the hundreds and hundreds of victims for identification.

But in the aftermath of the bloodbath, Professor Bitton said there were clear indicators of widespread sexual violence – with underwear and condoms found.

She said: “There was a first responder, who is a very high commander in the police, in the field and she said that while she was rushing to save lives she saw scattered underwear.

“And when I asked her ‘what did you think of it, did you report it to anyone’ she said ‘I couldn’t think of anything other than just saving lives’.

“And then in the Shura camp, where the bodies were brought to in their hundreds, there was a physician who said she saw some of the bodies arrive without underwear.

“But again, identification was the main priority”.

Israeli police have admitted that they were not focussed on collecting samples from bodies, examining crime scenes or requesting autopsies, but instead fixated on Id’ing those killed – and fending off Hamas.

Hamas has repeatedly tried to deny accounts of sexual violence.

But sickening footage revealed a father and son from the terrorist group brazenly admitting to raping and murdering innocent women.

Evil Jamal Hussein Ahmad Radi, 47, and his twisted 18-year-old son Abdallah told Israeli investigators of their despicable crimes after being captured by IDF forces in Gaza.

Radi told how he unleashed terror in the Nir Oz kibbutz and attacked helpless families.

He admitted: “In each house where we found someone, we either killed them or kidnapped them.

“In the first house I found a woman and her husband, and we hit them with fire and killed them – they were in their late 40s.”

Warped Radi also confessed to raping women.

Speaking about one incident, he said: “She was screaming, she was crying, I did what I did, I raped her.

“I threatened her with my gun to take her clothes off, I remember she was wearing jean shorts, that’s about it.”

Hostages raped & sexually abused by captors

Terrified hostages were subjected to beatings, verbal abuse and in some cases sexual violence from the moment they were captured.

Having just witnessed the callous slayings of their families and friends in Israel, as well as the destruction of their homes, they endured Hamas’ tortuous actions.

Not even children were not exempt from Hamas’ sick abuse.

Victims have told how they were forced to undress at gunpoint and were subject to branding, food and water deprivation, hair-pulling, and isolation.

Survivor Amit Soussana courageously gave a detailed account of her 55-day ordeal that saw her chained, tortured and sexually assaulted.

Haunting footage showed brave lawyer Amit being hauled away by Hamas brutes as she desperately tried to escape.

She was overpowered by a group of men, who forced her to Gaza – where she was taken to a house and guarded by two men.

Amit said tied up by an iron chain to bars on a window for three weeks and sexually abused “under the threat of a gun” by one of her captors after taking a shower.

Mia Schem is reunited with her family following 55 days in Hamas captivity on November 30, 2023[/caption]

She told The Times last year: “I got up, took the small towel and covered myself.

“He came over with the gun to my head, trying to tear the towel away, but I wouldn’t let him.

“He punched me and I still wouldn’t let him.”

Amit then described how the guard, Mohammad, took her into a children’s room in the house where he forced her to perform a sexual act.

Her captors then continued to humiliate her for days on end, forcing Amit to get dressed fast and also clean for their amusement.

Mia Schem has also recalled the horrors she faced during her 54 days in captivity – describing her ordeal “the holocaust“.

The Israeli-French tattoo artist was dragged back to Gaza after being snatched by Hamas from the Supernova music festival.

In a harrowing testimony, Mia said she was operated with no anaesthetic or painkillers for a gunshot wound on her arm.

Mia was released in November 2023 during a brief ceasefire between Hamas and Israel – and is still coming to terms with the abuse she suffered.

We saw murder, kidnappings, but the hardest of them all was rape. I have never heard screams for help like the ones I heard from that woman.

October 7 survivor

Professor Bitton – who founded Tmura, which advocates for the rights of women who have suffered abuse – said: “Some of the testimonies that we have are the type that it takes time to understand and realise what they mean.

“When Mia Schem got back, with time she started providing more and more information about incidents that she had.

“One of them was, for example, that when she was abducted and put in a car, the terrorist next to her rubbed her chest while she was being taken hostage.”

During her time in captivity, Mia was forced to live with her evil captor and his wife, who she described as “a bad woman” with “such mean eyes”.

Professor Bitton added: “She was very specific about an incident when she was trying to insert a tampon, and they – a man and woman – were with her.

“She fainted because it was so painful [trying to insert it] with her wounded hand.

“She was then mentally tortured by the man who told her that he had seen her naked because she fainted without her panties on.”

Mia previously said her captor “looked at you 2/4, raping you with his eyes”.

“His wife was outside the room with the children. That was the only reason he didn’t rape me,” she added.

A disturbing report by Israel’s health ministry also revealed how teenagers and children also suffered Hamas’ torture.

Two children were bound together by their hands and feet and forced to perform sex acts on each other.

They were also cruelly sexually abused by their captors – including having their genitals whipped.

The report, which was prepared for the United Nations, added: “Additionally, two young children had burn marks on their lower limbs.

“One child stated that the burns were the result of a deliberate branding with a heated object.

“Both the child and adults who were with him in captivity described the incident as a purposeful branding event, not an accident.

“It was described as an extremely traumatic experience.”

How the October 7 massacre unfolded

THE horror October 7 massacre in 2023 was the catalyst that plunged the Middle East into war.

That day, more than 1,200 civilians, soldiers and foreign nationals inside Israel were savagely murdered in a hideous early-morning assault.

Hamas terrorists stormed into Israel from Gaza, firing thousands of rockets, flying over in paragliders and bulldozing through in trucks in over 100 different places across the border.

Countless homes were razed to the ground – and 251 hostages were dragged back across the border to Gaza.

An IDF report found that 6,000 fighters from Gaza managed to get into Israel that day – including 3,800 from the Hamas terror group’s elite Nukhba forces.

Horrifying reports that followed October 7 revealed children were killed, women were raped and around 250 had been kidnapped and taken back to Gaza.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu declared “we are at war” following the ambush – and said the military would “turn Gaza into a deserted island” and urged its residents to “leave now”.

Men were also subjected to callous acts – including being shot in their genitals.

Both female and male survivors have struggled to come forward have been reluctant to come forward, believing their traumatic experience pales against those murdered, Professor Bitton said.

And countless Israeli women are too scared to return to their homes close to the border amid fear of being attacked in the wake of October 7.

Professor Bitton said: “My initial thought was that for victims of this type of sexual abuse by terrorists, the enemy, they would be more motivated to come forward.

“And with time it’s becoming so much clearer that the opposite is true for a few reasons.

“First of all, we have the layers of trauma that are the more traumatic the incident was, the less likely it is for the victim to speak up.

“We know that this is a psychological relation or correlation between the two and people who were kept hostage.

“So you have the trauma first of all of them being part of the terrorist attack. Many endured other losses, they saw their friends being murdered in front of their eyes.

“And then they’re being beaten, starved, treated as animals being locked in a cage and being sexually assaulted.

Illustration of a three-phase peace deal for the Middle East, showing details of each phase and a map of Gaza.

“So the layers of trauma that you endure are very much hampering your ability to speak up about what you’ve gone through.

“We’ve had some hostages saying that they don’t feel they have the right to complain about being sexually abused when people are being murdered.

“And given the denialism and silencing and so on, we’ve got a second layer of bad experience that we’ve had with this in this respect of denialism.”

Professor Bitton said the full extend of Hamas’ vile campaign of sexual violence will never be known – but that it is important this atrocity is never forgotten.

“We know that it happened,” she said.

“But we can’t really tell the extent, because there’s an obliteration of evidence or most of the victims are killed.

“Even the accounts that we have, testimonies that we have. We have three accounts of hearing a woman being raped, in these cases they’re talking about a woman being eventually killed.

“I think in many respects the fact that some of the female hostages were held in complete isolation from others is a type of indication.

“It’s like raising the risk of her being sexually attacked to the maximum.”

The terrorist group has repeatedly denied that its members committed acts of sexual abuse towards prisoners or victims during the October 7 attacks.

But a United Nations report released stated there is “clear and convincing information” that some hostages had suffered sexual violence.

Mum slammed as ‘embarrassing’ & ‘deluded’ after claiming her husband cheating was a ‘beautiful gift’ for their marriage

A MUM has been torn apart online for defending her husband’s decision to cheat on their marriage.

Joy Harrington called the infidelity a “beautiful gift” and claimed it allowed her to “heal things” she “probably wouldn’t have otherwise.”

Woman in denim overalls and pink ruffled top says, "They said we'd never be the same after..."
She claims his betrayal gave her a chance to let go of old wounds
TikTok / @joyharrington.ig

Posting the admission to her 279,000 Instagram followers from her account @joyharrington.ig, she uploaded a sweet video of the pair embracing and kissing.

But trolls were left unimpressed and branded her “embarrassing” for forgiving him and called her message “incredibly harmful.”

In her caption, Joy she admitted her opinion was “not true of every cheater or every cheating incident.”

She said there are “always exceptions” and that her experience comes with a “big caveat”.

But she insisted that the phrase “once a cheater, always a cheater” is “false” and said after her husband’s betrayal, their relationship came back “even stronger.”

Joy said cheating isn’t always attributed to attraction to other people, the quality of a couple’s sex life or even the relationship itself.

Instead, she says it’s “more about an unhealthy coping mechanism” or “trauma response.”

She claims it doesn’t mean your relationship has to end if one of you is disloyal, you just need to understand the root cause of the issue.

And the wronged wife says she is actually thankful that her husband strayed from their marriage, as it gave her the chance to examine “unhealthy patterns” that stem from “c****y wounds” and “beliefs that you don’t need to keep carrying.”

She said her experience led her to discover “resentment that was there since childhood” and finally find the freedom to let go of her “wounds.”

Having made the decision to forgive her partner, Joy claims their relationship is perfectly healthy again.

Her loved-up video showed clips of the couple kissing, hugging and dancing together in what looks like the happiest of relationships.

But viewers in the comments were far from convinced.

One user said: “I truly feel sorry for anyone who takes advice from you.”

While someone else joined in: “This is embarrassing, know your worth.”

Check his phone. You won’t be surprised.

Instagram user

Another person blamed Joy for spreading misinformation: “Saying the trauma of betrayal is a “gift” is incredibly harmful to anyone who has been cheated on, this is egregious.”

While someone else was left feeling queasy from her post: “I’m sick to my stomach just reading this.”

Baby, please snap out of this delusion

Instagram user

And another person chimed in: “I get you’re trying to make the best out of being dealt a bad hand, but this is textbook gaslighting.

“Cheating is the most unloving, disrespectful, and cruel thing we could do to someone we pretend to love. And I mean pretend. People do not cheat on people they love.”

Four red flags your partner is cheating

Private Investigator Aaron Bond from BondRees revealed four warning signs your partner might be cheating.

They start to take their phone everywhere with them

In close relationships, it’s normal to know each other’s passwords and use each other’s phones, if their phone habits change then they may be hiding something.

Aaron says: “If your partner starts changing their passwords, starts taking their phone everywhere with them, even around the house or they become defensive when you ask to use their phone it could be a sign of them not being faithful.”

“You should also look at how they place their phone down when not in use. If they face the phone with the screen facing down, then they could be hiding something.”

They start telling you less about their day

When partners cheat they can start to avoid you, this could be down to them feeling guilty or because it makes it easier for them to lie to you.

“If you feel like your partner has suddenly begun to avoid you and they don’t want to do things with you any more or they stop telling you about their day then this is another red flag.”

“Partners often avoid their spouses or tell them less about their day because cheating can be tough, remembering all of your lies is impossible and it’s an easy way to get caught out,” says Aaron.

Their libido changes

Your partner’s libido can change for a range of reasons so it may not be a sure sign of cheating but it can be a red flag according to Aaron.

Aaron says: “Cheaters often have less sex at home because they are cheating, but on occasions, they may also have more sex at home, this is because they feel guilty and use this increase in sex to hide their cheating.  You may also find that your partner will start to introduce new things into your sex life that weren’t there before.”

They become negative towards you

Cheaters know that cheating is wrong and to them, it will feel good, this can cause tension and anxiety within themselves which they will need to justify.

“To get rid of the tension they feel inside they will try to convince themselves that you are the problem and they will become critical of you out of nowhere.  Maybe you haven’t walked the dog that day, put the dishes away or read a book to your children before bedtime.  A small problem like this can now feel like a big deal and if you experience this your partner could be cheating,” warns Aaron.

Woman, 30, who complained of burning sensation in her feet shocked to discover she had brain worms

A WOMAN who complained of a burning sensation in her feet after returning home from a trip abroad was revealed to have parasitic worms in her brain.

The 30-year-old woman had just returned from a trip to Thailand, Japan and Hawaii when she began experiencing an unusual set of symptoms.

Angiostrongyliasis is a parasitic infection caused by the roundworm Angiostrongylus cantonensis, commonly known as rat lungworm[/caption]

Her first symptom was fatigue, which she put down to jet lag.

But when she began experiencing headaches and a burning sensation in her feet, which travelled up to her legs and “worsened with light touch”, she was admitted to hospital.

The woman, from New England in the US, visited two hospital emergency rooms with symptoms, but doctors didn’t deem her condition serious enough to admit her.

She was then sent home with headache and anxiety medicine.

The woman didn’t return to hospital for more testing until she developed confusion.

Eventually, she was diagnosed with angiostrongyliasis – a parasitic infection caused by the roundworm Angiostrongylus cantonensis, commonly known as rat lungworm.

Most people get mild or no symptoms, but the parasite can infect your brain and cause headaches, neck stiffness, vomiting and brain and nerve issues.

Sometimes the worm can cause eosinophilic meningitis.

The woman’s case was published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Dr Carlos A. Portales Castillo, who eventually treated her at Massachusetts General Hospital, was one of the authors of the case study.

According to the journal, Dr Joseph Zunt, a neurologist and infectious specialist looked at what caused the woman’s angiostrongyliasis

The first week of the woman’s travels was spent in Bangkok, Thailand, where she explored the city and enjoyed various street foods, but avoided raw dishes.

She then spent five days in Tokyo, Japan, mostly staying in her hotel and enjoying sushi for many of her meals.

In Hawaii “she swam in the ocean several times and frequently ate both salad and sushi,” said Castillo.

Zunt wrote the rat lungworm parasite is “endemic” in Hawaii and easily acquired.

“Infection can be acquired through multiple sources: ingestion of raw or undercooked infected snails or slugs; ingestion of vegetables or fruits contaminated by infected snails, slugs, or flatworms or by slime from snails or slugs that contains infectious larvae; or ingestion of infected paratenic hosts (e.g., land crabs, freshwater prawns, or frogs) that have consumed an infected snail,” he said.

The infection she got can be acquired through multiple sources, including land crabs and freshwater prawns – commonly found in sushi[/caption]

Snails and slugs can pick up the infection from the faeces of infected rats, who may also contract it from eating an infected snail.

Rats also vomit the eggs from their lungs and then eat them – the journal notes it’s a “complicated life cycle”.

The patient was treated with steroid prednisone, an anti-parasite medication that suppresses the immune system, and after six days was discharged from hospital.

Rat lungworm is considered rare in humans in the UK, but it’s worth knowing the symptoms below…

Rat lungworm symptoms

ACCORDING to the Hawaii Department of Health, symptoms can start with non-specific symptoms and evolve to more specific symptoms over the next following weeks.

People may experience the following:

  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • abdominal pain a few hours to a few days after ingestion

Symptoms can then progress to headache and other neurologic symptoms.

Non-specific symptoms include:

More specific symptoms may include:

  • constant headache
  • neck stiffness and pain
  • tingling or burning of the skin
  • double vision

Lionel Messi called out for BOXING match as Logan Paul fumes ‘this ain’t justice’ in bid to settle ongoing dispute

LOGAN PAUL has offered Lionel Messi the chance to face him in the boxing ring – and settle their long-running dispute.

The Maverick has accused Messi of “copying” him after the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner released his Mas+ energy drink.

The 37-year-old’s company has been accused of “copying” PRIME[/caption]

Paul launched PRIME in 2022 alongside his long-term influencer rival KSI.

The popular drink took the world by storm, with early packs selling for ten times the RRP as the company struggled to cope with demand.

Messi, 37, has since released Mas+, with the two companies going into a legal stand-off over their packaging and trademarks.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, 29, has now suggested an alternative to wrangling in the courts – a showdown in the ring.

Addressing World Cup winner Messi in a recent video, Paul said: “Brother, you copied us. Everyone saw it.

“They saw what you did. Everyone noticed it and then we got sued.

“Hold on, wait, what? This ain’t justice.

“So we countersued, obviously. If you can’t beat the best, you gotta be the best. But that’s illegal.

“That’s trademark infringement. We’re holding him accountable, and it’s harassment?

“All jokes aside, I will consider dropping this if Logan Paul vs Messi [gets made in] 2025. I’ll see you in the ring, brother.”

Messi’s brand fired the first legal shots by suing PRIME last October.

They accused Logan’s company of “anti-competitive” behaviour, alleging in writing that PRIME had tried to pressure them into changing their packaging.

PRIME countersued a month later, accusing Messi’s brand of copying their trademarked design.

Logan is no stranger to the squared circle and faced off with pound-for-pound legend Floyd Mayweather in 2021.

He was linked to a megafight with MMA star Conor McGregor before the UFC backed away from the contest last year.

Logan has also become a star in the world of WWE, appearing in the ring at Wrestlemania 40.

Messi, who currently plays in the MLS for Inter Miami, has yet to respond to Paul’s offer.

He is preparing for the new season, with Miami’s first competitive match of 2025 against Sporting Kansas City on Tuesday.

Messi is reportedly wary of playing in the game, with record-low temperatures forecasted and the match in doubt.

My ex dumped me to ‘work on himself’ so I did too – people are stunned by my glow-up & think I had surgery, but I didn’t

Thanks to diet and exercise, Chloe White has not only transformed her appearance, but her confidence too
[email protected]/

As a result, the star, who has 76,700 followers on social media, was able to drop four and a half stone – and now, people have said she looks like ‘a different person’.

Chloe has shared numerous clips online proudly showing off her jaw-dropping glow up, leaving people totally stunned.

In one short before and after clip, which has now gone viral, the content creator wrote: “He left me to ‘work on himself’.

“So I did the same.”

She captioned the video ‘boy bye’ and explained that after she started looking after herself, she was able to lose weight and totally transform her appearance.

Chloe acknowledged that after losing her “face fat” and slimming down, she is now “a whole new person”.

And whilst many were left convinced that Chloe had had surgery to slim down, Chloe swore that her transformation was simply down to moving more and making smarter food decisions.

Whilst one woman accused her of having a gastric sleeve, Chloe claimed that she was able to glow-up by volume eating, which involves eating large portions of low-calorie, high-volume foods, as well as high protein meals.

As well as this, she also credited weight training to her impressive weight loss and highlighted that she took inspiration and motivation by taking progress pictures, rather than through weighing herself.

And whilst Chloe loves working up a sweat in the gym, she also advised that for those looking to keep on top of losing weight, changing up the scenery and getting outside often helps – whether that’s going for runs or bike rides.

Chloe’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @chloe.w.hite, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and racked up a whopping 5.8 million views.

Social media users were gobsmacked by her new look and many eagerly flocked to the comments to express this.

How to lose weight without surgery

There are various other ways to lose weight without going under the knife.

According to the NHS, to get the best possible start on its weight loss plan, there are the seven steps you should follow.

  1. Get active for 150 minutes a week – you can break this up into shorter sessions
  2. Aim to get your 5 A Day – 80g of fresh, canned or frozen fruit or vegetables count as 1 portion
  3. Aim to lose 1 to 2lbs, or 0.5 to 1kg, a week
  4. Read food labels – products with more green colour coding than amber and red are often a healthier option
  5. Swap sugary drinks for water – if you do not like the taste, add slices of lemon or lime for flavour
  6. Cut down on food that’s high in sugar and fat – start by swapping sugary cereal for wholegrain alternatives
  7. Share your weight loss plan with someone you trust – they can help motivate you when you have a bad day

One person said: “You understood the assignment.”

Another added: “What a difference! You were still stunning before but now you are glowing with confidence! Way to go girl!!”

You looked lovely before but you look uber glam now! Congratulations

A third commented: “You look like a different person!”

Whilst someone else wrote: “Oh wow, well done girl! Smashed it. Beautiful, I can tell you are loving yourself now.”

Not only this, but another beamed: “I love this. You looked lovely before but you look uber glam now! Congratulations.”

The NHS 12-step plan to help you lose weight

FROM faddy diets to dodgy detoxes - most of us have heard it all before when it comes to weight loss.

But burning fat can be easy and mostly free.

In fact, the NHS has a whole load of medically-approved tips for weight loss and shedding body fat once and for all…

  1. Don’t skip breakfast
Skipping breakfast will not help you lose weight. You could miss out on essential nutrients and you may end up snacking more throughout the day because you feel hungry.
  2. Eat regular meals
Eating at regular times during the day helps burn calories at a faster rate. It also reduces the temptation to snack on foods high in fat and sugar.
  3. Eat plenty of fruit and veg
Fruit and veg are low in calories and fat, and high in fibre – 3 essential ingredients for successful weight loss. They also contain plenty of vitamins and minerals.
  4. Get more active
Being active is key to losing weight and keeping it off. As well as providing lots of health benefits, exercise can help burn off the excess calories you cannot lose through diet alone.
  5. Drink lots of water
People sometimes confuse thirst with hunger. You can end up consuming extra calories when a glass of water is really what you need.
  6. Eat high fibre foods
Foods containing lots of fibre can help keep you feeling full, which is perfect for losing weight. Fibre is only found in food from plants, such as fruit and veg, oats, wholegrain bread, brown rice and pasta, and beans, peas and lentils.
  7. Read food labels
Knowing how to read food labels can help you choose healthier options. Use the calorie information to work out how a particular food fits into your daily calorie allowance on the weight loss plan.
  8. Use a smaller plate
Using smaller plates can help you eat smaller portions. By using smaller plates and bowls, you may be able to gradually get used to eating smaller portions without going hungry. It takes about 20 minutes for the stomach to tell the brain it’s full, so eat slowly and stop eating before you feel full.
  9. Don’t ban foods
Do not ban any foods from your weight loss plan, especially the ones you like. Banning foods will only make you crave them more. There’s no reason you cannot enjoy the occasional treat as long as you stay within your daily calorie allowance.
  10. Don’t stock junk food
To avoid temptation, do not stock junk food – such as chocolate, biscuits, crisps and sweet fizzy drinks – at home. Instead, opt for healthy snacks, such as fruit, unsalted rice cakes, oat cakes, unsalted or unsweetened popcorn, and fruit juice.
  11. Cut down on alcohol
A standard glass of wine can contain as many calories as a piece of chocolate. Over time, drinking too much can easily contribute to weight gain.
  12. Plan your meals
Try to plan your breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the week, making sure you stick to your calorie allowance. You may find it helpful to make a weekly shopping list.

Fans have praised the show as the perfect blend of animation and sci-fi[/caption]

Pantheon, a sci-fi animated series, has landed on Netflix and the second season is landing in just a few days.

The first series has a 100% perfect score on entertainment ratings site Rotten Tomatoes, which is unique in itself.

In the show, bullied teen Maddie begins receiving messages from a mysterious stranger that claims to be her recently deceased father, David.

His consciousness has been uploaded to the cloud after an experimental brain scan, and it turns out he’s not the only one.

Meanwhile, Caspian Keyes, a troubled yet highly intelligent teenager has been raised unaware that he lives in a constructed environment and is constantly monitored to one day fulfil a special purpose.

When the pair meet they decide to aid each other in searching for the truth.

However, Vinod Chanda, an engineer from the India-based Alliance Telecom company is kidnapped by his corrupt boss and scanned.

With help from previous victims, Chanda escapes his virtual prison and goes rogue.

With Maddie and Caspian stuck in the middle, a global conspiracy unfolds that threatens to trigger a new kind of world war.

The show stars Katie Chang, Paul Dano, Aaron Eckhart and Lost’s Daniel Dae Kim.

And viewers have loved the show with one stating: “Watching “Pantheon” is like reading “Neuromancer” for the first time.

“I found myself totally engrossed in the world and story, and eager to find out what happens to both the main and supporting characters.”

Another added: “Wow, this is arguably the best sci-fi of 2020s. With the potential to go down in history and be something truly special.

“With clunky yet still clean visuals, great music, and top notch writing.”

A third agreed: “This series is absolutely thrilling in every episode. For those who think that live action is always better than anime/cartoon, think again.

“I don’t think that this series could be done good enough on live action, especially some of the UI thing.”

“This show is smart, emotional and entertaining. There are a few interconnected side stories going on that make me excited to figure out the big picture.

“I noticed there are so many details and small moments that reflect our real modern life.

“Genuine uses of technology in daily life but things that I have never seen shown before in film or television.”

“I found myself being hooked in just minutes into the show and I can’t remember the last time that happened and I can’t seem to get enough after just two episodes.

“The plot, the style, the writing, the characters, the overall atmosphere, the twists and the intrigue is just top-notch.

“Finally a show with proper writing with proper dialogue, no politics or forced social policies for the sake of pleasing mainstream media, investment sources and rating agencies, just brilliant storytelling” added another.

The second season will be available on Netflix on 21 February.

Chilling warning Putin could deploy obscure ‘Narva Scenario’ to launch surprise attack on Nato…despite Trump peace talks

EVIL Vladimir Putin could deploy the obscure “Narva Scenario” to launch a surprise attack on Nato despite peace talks with President Donald Trump, an expert has warned.

Former Finnish general and MEP Pekka Toveri believes Trump and the West should be wary of trusting the mad dictator – warning that he could take advantage and try to break Nato’s Article 5.

Putin has agreed the “war must end” after Donald Trump went past Ukraine and European leaders to do business directly with the Kremlin.

But the former general and MEP for Finland has warned against the West trusting Putin in peace deals and giving him land as it would only make his “appetite bigger” – encouraging the tyrant to make a future invasion.

Toveri told The Sun that Putin would just need to wait for a couple of years and be prepared to sacrifice another 100,000 Russians before attacking again as, in Putin’s mind, the “spineless West will give up”.

And even if Europe built up its armies, Putin wouldn’t need to challenge them directly.

Instead, he could carry out the feared Narva Scenario and try and break Article 5 of Nato.

Russia would invade Estonia and seize the city of Narva in a small operation and then threaten to nuke anyone who tried to get it back.

Narva – which sits on the border between Russia and Estonia – was first occupied by Russia between 1558 and 1581, and then again in 1704.

It borders a river between the two countries – not far from Narva Bay – and over 97 per cent of the almost 60,000 residents there speak Russian.

On the edge of Nato’s eastern flank by the Baltic Sea, Narva is Estonia’s third biggest city.

There is a red line painted on the point where Narva crosses into Russia – on a bridge over the river.

Estonian border cops have previously told the BBC that thousands of Ukrainians have escaped war zones and fled into Estonia through this border crossing.

Toveri said it would take longer than six months, which is what the Danish spooks suggested, for Russia to invade Europe – but that it would definitely happen before the end of Trump’s administration.

He believes that Europeans would come to the defence of Estonia – but he questions whether America would as Putin would take advantage of Trump’s trust.

Toveri added: “That’s what the Estonians and other politics states are worried about – that Article 5 is questioned.

“And.the thing is, it’s easy for Putin to do that.”

In order to be victorious, Europe must pick up the production of weaponry and keep up sanctions so Russia will struggle to produce high-tech equipment.

But Toveri warned that trying to encourage peace with Putin would make him more likely to commit acts of sabotage in Europe.

He added: “Russians might be evil, but they are not stupid.

Putin's sights on three Nato countries

ESTONIA, Lithuania and Latvia have all strongly condemned Putin’s horrific war in Ukraine.

These major Russian-speaking cities in each country are of historical importance when thinking about the Russian empire Putin follows on from.

Geographically they also all provide important elements, like coastal locations, sea ports, industrial centres or key borders.

NARVA – ESTONIA

Narva – which sits on the border between Russia and Estonia – was first occupied by Russia between 1558 and 1581, and then again in 1704.

97 per cent of the almost 60,000 residents there speak Russian.

It borders a river between the two countries – not far from Narva Bay.

On the edge of Nato’s eastern flank by the Baltic Sea, Narva is Estonia’s third biggest city.

There is a red line painted on the point where Narva crosses into Russia – on a bridge over the river.

Estonian border police told the BBC that thousands of Ukrainians have escaped war zones and fled into Estonia through this border crossing.

Narva has welcomed Ukrainian refugees during Putin’s war, the BBC reports.

KLAIPEDA – LITHUANIA

Lithunia downgraded its diplomatic relations with Russia after Putin invaded Ukraine.

It closed its Russian consulate in Klaipeda, which is bordered by Latvia, Belarus and Poland on the Baltic Sea coast.

The third largest city in Lithuania, Klaipeda is a major seaport.

It has the highest number of native Russian speakers among Lithuanian cities.

Under the USSR, Russia turned Klaipeda into a valuable marine base.

DAUGAVPILS – LATVIA

This Latvian city, in the south, is bordered closely by Belarus and Lithuania.

It is the second largest city in the country and well populated.

It is also only 75 miles from the Latvian border with Russia.

Daugavpils is historically a major railway and industrial point – and was part of the Russian Empire in the late 1700s.

It has an overwhelmingly Russian speaking population.

Latvia has strongly condemned Putin’s war in Ukraine, and has been added to a list of all EU countries dubbed “unfriendly” by Putin.

“What they have learned from Ukraine? So far they have learned that well, their own army sucks.

“But another thing they have learned is that hybrid warfare works.

“They’ve been attacking us over a decade. They’ve been attacking us in cyber with the information operations now support us and what we are doing?

“They can break the unity of Western organizations like EU and NATO, and they can can break the unity within the nations and force us to use a lot of effort to to secure our infrastructure, like undersea cables, and so on.”

If Russia signs a peace with America and Ukraine rejects it – then Europe could step in and continue to support Ukraine defending against Russia.

It comes as Sir Keir Starmer has said he is willing to deploy British troops on the ground in Ukraine to enforce a peace deal.

Toveri said: “It would be in our interest to say that step in and say ‘Okay, don’t worry. We will replace the American support. We have money, we have resources. We will replace the American support so that Ukraine can keep on fighting until Russia is ready for more reasonable peace.

“You have to remember that Russia is nowhere near to winning in this war.”

Ukraine could continue fighting Russia on the defensive and killing as many Russians as possible with the support of Europe, as Zelensky’s people “are ready to accept the peace”.

Toveri explained how despite Ukrainian citizens being prepared to accept temporarily losing some areas, “they are not willing to take a peace where they don’t get real security guarantees.”

He added: “They can continue it long time with low intensity but it’s hurting them and the economy bad – so we should just not to give up now on the ceasefire/demilitarised zone.

“You would need 150-to-200,000 troops there and then you have to rotate them. You need three times more.

“We, the West, have to support Ukrainian so that they can rearm the army – so it is strong enough with modern Western technology so that they can be the main deterrence, and then, of course, some kind of presence from the Western countries.”
