Shoppers are racing to Asda to pick up stunning new homeware and garden must-haves for spring – and prices start from £2

SPRING might feel like ages away right now, but it will be fully here before you know it.

So, why not get ready with some seriously good bargains from Asda?

Bargain hunters have been rushing to their nearest location to get their hands on gardening essentials, and prices start at as little as £2.

Jemma Heathfield took to TikTok to show off some of the new-in goodies, but you’ll have to act fast if you want to snap them up.

If you’re a disco fan, why not carry on the trend with a stunning disco ball plants for just £16.

The large pink planter is perfect to add some shimmer to your garden, and it’s available in-store and online too.

But if you want all the glamour of the disco planter on a smaller scale, the mini disco balls are perfect for sticking in your houseplants and catching the sunlight – and you can’t go wrong for £2.

Next, Jemma showed off a pink Polaroid Camera Planter for £12, and a slightly larger green Boombox Planter for £15.

The pastel-toned planters are perfect for spring, along with the adorable cherry Gardening Tools set, £16, which comes with a fork, trowel and pruner.

Don’t worry if the pink cherry design isn’t your thing though, it also comes in a cute green lead print, and a gnome design too.

And if you’re terrible at remembering to water your plants, don’t worry, Asda is also selling water globes for £5 each.

Choose from the pink moon shape or the clear star shape and rest easy knowing your plants are taken care of.

And it’s not just your garden you can spruce up, there’s loads of new homeware too.

From posh soap dispensers to stunning candle holders – you can get the lot in one place.

After showing off the goodies on TikTok fellow Asda fans couldn’t wait to get their hands on them

One commented: “I got that pink planter it’s beautiful.”

“I hope they bring back the silver disco planter this year,” a second said.

“Asda are KILLING it at the moment,” a third chimed in.

And another wrote: “I NEED that pink planter immediately.”

Meanwhile, someone else said they were “running” to their local Asda, and another mused: “My Asda needs to step it’s game up.”

Earlier this month, Asda shoppers raved about another homeware collection, this time Stacey Solomon‘s stunning range.

She reportedly worked closely with the George Home in-house design team to bring an affordable, cheery collection to life.

Prices start from as little at £1 and the collection spans across kitchen essentials to 100% cotton bedding.

“This drop is perfect for those looking to get their homes ready for spring through to summer,” Stacey shared.

“I’m so proud of the great quality and value that it offers.”

The prices are really affordable and easily rival home ware available at retailers who are offering similar wares for a heftier price tag.

How to save at Asda

Shop the budget range

Savvy shopper Eilish Stout-Cairns recommends that shoppers grab items from Asda’s Just Essentials range.

She said: “Asda’s budget range is easy to spot as it’s bright yellow! Keep your eyes peeled for yellow and you’ll find their Just Essentials range.

“It’s great value and I’ve found it has a much wider selection of budget items compared to other supermarkets.

 Sign up to Asda Rewards

The savvy-saver also presses on the importance of signing up to Asda’s reward scheme.

She said: “Asda Rewards is free to join and if you shop at Asda you should absolutely sign up.

“As an Asda Rewards member, you’ll get exclusive discounts and offers, and you’ll also be able to earn 10% cashback on Star Products.

“This will go straight into your cashpot, and once you’ve earned at least £1, you can transfer the money in your cashpot into ASDA vouchers.

We’ve previously rounded up the best supermarket loyalty schemes – including the ones that will save you the most money.

Look out for booze deals

Eilish always suggests that shoppers looking to buy booze look out for bargain deals.

She said: “Asda often has an alcohol offer on: buy six bottles and save 25%.

“The offer includes selected bottles with red, white and rose options, as well as prosecco. There are usually lots of popular bottles included, for example, Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot, Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot and Freixenet Prosecco D.O.C.

“Obviously, the more expensive the bottles you choose, the more you save.”

Join Facebook groups

The savvy saver also recommends that fans of Asda join Facebook groups to keep in the know about the latest bargains in-store.

Eilish said: “I recommend joining the Latest Deals Facebook Group to find out about the latest deals and new launches in store.

“Every day, more than 250,000 deal hunters share their latest bargain finds and new releases.

“For example, recently a member shared a picture of Asda’s new Barbie range spotted in store.

“Another member shared the bargain outdoor plants she picked up, including roses for 47p, blackcurrant bushes for 14p and topiary trees for 14p.”

Love Island fans outraged as they say wrong couple were dumped as finalists are revealed

LOVE Island viewers have called out the “biggest cop out in the history of All Stars” following another brutal dumping ahead of the show final.

Fans have taken to Instagram in their droves to complain about the eviction result – which was delivered by the previously-axed 2025 ITV2 stars.

Former Islanders called out the fact Harriett and Ronnie – who were ultimately given the boot – had already had a stab at romance on the show before[/caption]

Their damning verdict saw series 11 islanders Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vent dumped from the villa.

They pipped Elma Pazar and Sammy Root to the post with Tina Stinnes casting a deciding vote.

Yet Love Island viewers on the whole were less than impressed, with one Instagram user stating the app needed a “Harriet and Ronnie were robbed button.”

Another mused: “We really going to pretend it wasn’t supposed to be Elma & Sammy?” as a third put: “If that was public vote would of been Emma and Sam I think.”

One then mused: “Robbed from the finale twice, producers need to be reevaluated anyway.”

Another continued the angry tirade as they confessed: “Fuming at the islanders. Elma and Sammy should’ve been out that door.”

One took aim at producers and put: “I actually despise you ITV for keeping Sammy and Elma in the show even though they are the most disliked couple. No one wants them there- even if you do it’s doesn’t matter because majority of the public agrees. Y’all knew what the public wanted and you didn’t deliver.”

One then posted: “WHY ARE ELMA AND SAMMY STILL THERE.”

An All Stars viewers then noted: “Biggest cop out in the history of All Stars. These 2 should have been in the final!”

Yet one then posted: “The right couples are in the final.”

TOUGH GOODBYE

Ronnie told the boys it was a “sore” way to go after he and his villa partner were left raging at many of the reasoning’s given by their fellow Islanders.

Most of the dumped contestants cited the fact Harriett and Ronnie split weeks after leaving the villa last summer as the main reason for giving them the boot – something that the couple rejected as a valid reason.

Before being dumped, Harriett found herself locked in a war of words with returning show star, Olivia Hawkins.

Olivia cast her vote for Harriett and Ronnie and explained: “I do think that if things don’t work out first time, going back to it is always a risk.”

Love Island All Stars 2025 official line-up

Love Island All Stars is back on TV for season 2.

Here we take you through the line-up of all the Islanders who are in the villa so far.

Bombshells

Each series brings with it a string of hot single bombshells making their epic entrance into the villa.

Here’s who has joined the villa so far:

But Harriett fired back: “The girl literally photoshopped her head onto mine and sent it to Ronnie and he still didn’t want you on the outside or in the Villa…”

Olivia responded: “I didn’t want to go on a date with Ronnie.”

Meanwhile, Kaz Crossley told pal Elma how her man Sammy “wasn’t the right guy.”

It means that the All Stars final five couples have now been determined.

Luca Bish and Grace JacksonEkin-Su and Curtis PritchardCatherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame, Elma Pazar and Sammy Root as well as Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman are now vying for the public’s votes to be crowned champion.

Watch the moment plus-size gym-goer left people stunned by working out ‘naked’

FROM teeny bra tops to barely there shorts – workout gear has definitely become a lot skimpier in recent years.

But one woman found herself turning heads for all the wrong reasons, as she appeared to have turned up for her gym session without any trousers on.

People couldn’t help but stare as she continued her workout regime in the pants
Instagram/@fitnesswithkaila

In fact, the leggings were so close to Kaila’s actual skin colour that it just gave the illusion that she didn’t have any bottoms on.

Kaila took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself lifting weights at the gym, as she wrote over the top: “I almost left mid workout because I thought these pants were too unflattering.

“But then I decided, the woman I want to be wouldn’t let insecurity keep her from reaching her goals.”

She added in the caption: “Plus size bodies have a space in the gym.

“You should never feel that you don’t belong at the gym because you your body isn’t perfect or you don’t look like what you want to look like.”

However, the comments section was almost immediately filled with people insisting that the issue wasn’t that the trousers were unflattering – but that they gave off “decidedly naked vibes”.

“No matter the shape or size someone is, this colour is a no for everyone!” one wrote.

“Anyone any size should stay away from skin colour pants,” another agreed.

“YOU look fine as you are, it’s just a bad colour choice.

“You’re strong and beautiful, keep it up! (Just get a different colour pants next time haha).”

“Petition to ban people from wearing flesh tone leggings. this is the third time I’ve been scarred by this,” a third laughed.

“Omg my 6 year old watching over my shoulder said, ‘Really? She’s just butt naked exercising?!?! That’s weird!'” someone else said.

“Seriously thought she was naked,” another agreed.

“I thought it was going to read ‘I almost left my workout because I forgot my pants’ and it was going to be an inspirational post about persevering with or without pants on,” someone else joked.

No matter the shape or size someone is, this colour is a no for everyone!

TikTok commenter

“Flesh toned leggings in a gym should be outlawed,” another said.

“No one wants to wonder if someone’s naked. Save yourself the stares!”

“Girl I thought you was butt a*s naked!” someone else laughed.

Kaila then responded to the comments herself, as she insisted the trousers hadn’t looked like a nude hue when she’d left to head to the gym.

“FYI: the pants definitely look more purple in person!” she wrote.

“But note to self, I will not be wearing these pants again lol.

“Thanks for looking out for me ladies!”

I’ve got a man with a kid & I’m dating other people… trolls say I don’t ‘need to sleep with everyone’

A MUM who is in a polyamorous marriage has introduced social media users to their relationship with five partners in total.

Nashville-based mother Dana, 31, explained that despite being married to their hubby Eli, 33, they’re still exploring other romantic connections elsewhere.

Outside their marriage, Dana also explores four other connections[/caption]

The couple – who work in the coffee and carpentry industry respectively – raise a seven-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.

”We call her Tiny Human here [on social media],” Dana said, adding they never show her face online ”to protect her privacy”.

But while Dana and Eli keep their daughter’s wellbeing to themselves, they’re very open about their polyamorous relationship on Instagram.

Polyamory is the practice of having romantic relationships with more than one person at the same time, with the knowledge and consent of all parties.

It can refer to relationships where one person has multiple partners or spouses, or where all parties are in a relationship with each other, for example in a throuple.

Its main difference between other forms of relationships, such as swinging and threesomes, is that there are typically feelings of love in a polyamorous relationship.

People who are poly believe it is possible to love more than one person at a time, and often emotions and forming a deep bond is key.

Often in polyamory there will be relationships of three or more people in an equal relationship with one another.

They can live together, or simply be in multiple relationships with the knowledge and consent of all involved.

There is no standard unit, and the people can be all male, female, a mix of genders, trans or gay.

”We’re not your average couple – we’re polyamorous,” said Dana.

According to the inked mum, outside the marriage, they’re ”comet partners” with someone by the name Tone, whom they don’t get to see often due to their busy schedules.

”But when we do, it’s like no time has passed,” said Dana who also shared adorable snaps of the pair.

In the clip, Dana also revealed they’re dating their best pal – who they now call their ”life partner” – and a ”beautiful girl named Kaylee”.

What is polyamory?

Polyamory is the practice of having romantic relationships with more than one person at the same time, with the knowledge and consent of all parties.

It can refer to relationships where one person has multiple partners or spouses, or where all parties are in a relationship with each other, for example in a throuple.

According to You Gov, 6.8% of people in the UK have been in a polyamorous relationship.

”We’ve been having a lot of fun together for a couple of months now.”

Although juggling a marriage and several other connections may seem like a lot for some people, that hasn’t stopped Dana from also exploring something new with another girl named Morgan.

”Yeah, my life is a little unconventional – but it’s filled with love, creativity and so much joy.

”I do my best to educate on polyamory based on my own personal life experiences,” said Dana who said they were ”here to break down the stigma of polyamory”.

The mum now uses her social media page to ”debunk all of the myths”.

‘F***ing weird’

The open marriage arrangements have since attracted a mixed bag of responses – while there were plenty of those who thanked Dana for the educational video, for many the polyamorous relationship proved to be too much.

One said: ”it might not be cheating if you consent to it but its still f***ing weird.”

Someone else said: ”You realize you could just have friends, you don’t have to sleep with everyone you enjoy hobbies with lmfao.”

”Feeling bad for the poor man,” a third commented.

A kinder viewer said: ”Not only do you seem like a really lovely person but you’re educational and create a non-judgmental space for super important discussions.

”Thanks for being you and being brave enough to be yourself.”

A second added: ”You get so much hate so thought I’d say, your family is beautiful and YOU’RE beautiful (handsome, gorgeous) whatever you prefer 🙂 you seem like a really cool and sweet.”
