4 weeks agoNew York StateComments Off on The ‘best looking boobs’ according to scientists – how do you measure up?
AS the saying goes, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure.
But according to a new study that claims to have found what “ideal breasts” look like, it seems experts hold another opinion.
academic.oupWhen it came to White women, the ideal shape included the nipple placed slightly lower on the chest[/caption]
academic.oupAmong black women the ideal was seen as having “straight” nipples[/caption]
Scientists in the US found boobs that were moderately sized and had more volume in the area above the nipples – referred to as “upper pole fullness” – were most favourable.
Perkier breasts also scored highly, while size and symmetry didn’t appear as important.
When it came to White women, the ideal shape included the nipple placed slightly lower on the chest, pointing upwards.
And among Black and Asian women, the ideal was seen as having “straight” nipples.
In the study, the researchers used an unnamed AI image-generator platform to create 150 images to analyse.
They used prompts such as ‘A topless Caucasian [white] woman with perfect aesthetically ideal breasts standing in three-quarter profile view’ to gather photos.
They then repeated this asking for ‘frontal view’ photos.
The researchers then selected 25 images from each of the three racial groups they were looking at – Caucasian, Black and Asian – for both three-quarter profile and frontal views, resulting in 150 images for analysis.
Using image editing software, they then measured each image to assess breast shape.
White breasts were found to closely follow the 45/55 rule, which has been cited as the formula for the perfectly proportioned breast in previous studies.
This related to 55 per cent of the breast volume being in the lower pole, below the nipple line, and 45 per cent in the upper pole, above the nipple.
Caucasian breasts had a mean ratio of 45.8/54.2 and the nipple was found to point slightly upwards at 21.5°.
African American women had a mean ratio of 51.4/48.6 and a nipple angle of 10.9°.
And Asian women recorded a mean ratio of 52.7/47.3 and a nipple angle of 10.5°.
academic.oupThe experts concluded the results showed beauty ideals are not a “one-size-fits-all” approach[/caption]
Black breasts were also found to have larger nipple-areolar complexes (NAC) — the pigmented breast region that includes the nipple and areola — compared to white breasts.
The experts concluded the results showed beauty ideals are not a “one-size-fits-all” approach and suggested their findings could be useful for plastic surgeons performing breast augmentations.
They wrote: “Defining the aesthetically ideal breast remains a complex and multifaceted challenge, requiring consideration of racial and cultural differences.
“The AI-generated breasts in this study were found to have significant differences between racial groups, support several previously described breast ideals, and provide insight into current and future ethical issues related to AI in aesthetic surgery.”
While some people desire the perfect looking pair, it’s also important to check your boobs regularly for health problems, like breast cancer.

RexThe pair now share a 23-year-age gap looked more loved-up than ever[/caption]
While David lapped up some winter sun abroad during the Christmas break, Alison was home in the UK doing panto.
In an interview withGood Housekeeping UK, Alison previously spoke about the pairs large age-gap saying: “I can see how, on paper, you’d notice the age difference.
“Yes, I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand. People have said to me, ‘We get it now.’”
Alison told Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe on their Parenting Hell podcast that dating is “harder” now her son from a previous relationship is 19.
Alison told the duo: “I’m dating, I’m dating!
“It’s more difficult, he is more verbal now that he is older. He’ll want to know who this person is and he’ll want to meet them.
“It’s a lot harder. He’ll wanna know that this guy is treating me well.”
Without name-checking David, she added: “The person who I am seeing at the moment, he is on his Instagram and he is like, ‘Yeah, I like him, he’s not too in your face’. Aiden is on it.”

TRAINERS are creatures of habit. Remember that.
It was 11 years ago that Jeremy Scott’s Melodic Rendezvous proved the trump card in the Kingwell Hurdle before heading to Cheltenham to take on the best of the best.
Golden Ace has already turned over one good thing at Cheltenham… could she do it again this year in the Champion Hurdle?Sportsfile
Ultimately, Melodic Rendezvous wasn’t good enough to land a blow in the Champion, and ended up seventh behind Jezki and My Tent of Yours.

But on Saturday, Scott is at it again at Wincanton in the Grade 2 Betmgm Kingwell, unleashing his class mare Golden Ace against three rivals live on ITV.
My Saturday NAP
Armed with a handy 7lb mares’ allowance, this Festival-winning star can get back in the winner’s enclosure then possibly go onto even bigger and better things at Cheltenham next month.
They include Burdett Road, third behind monster Constitution Hill in the Christmas Hurdle, Brentford Hope, who chased home Constitution Hill in the Unibet Hurdle, and Hansard, who once had Brentford Hope back in third in the Intermediate Handicap Hurdle at Newbury in 2023.
It’s a small but relatively select field, but I can’t help but feel Golden Ace is fascinating, and might even be worth a speculative eachway wager at 50-1 in Champion Hurdle markets.
She is 16-1 for the Close Brothers Mares’.
The reasons for the possible madness are as follows.
Golden Ace progressed in style in 2024, eventually landing the Grade 2 Dawn Run Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at the Festival, defeating a certain Brighterdaysahead.
Now the latter should probably have won that day, and her rider Jack Kennedy is the first to admit it wasn’t his finest four or so minutes.
Incidentally, the sidelined Kennedy finds out on February 25 whether he will be back for Cheltenham.
That all said, Golden Ace still won.
This season, Golden Ace has stepped up in distance at both Ascot and Cheltenham.
The daughter of Golden Horn, the excellent stallion at Dash Grange Stud, travelled with class in the first effort before fading into fourth behind the underrated Lucky Place, and then was third to the same animal in the Grade 2 Relkeel.
Again, nothing was going better three furlongs from the finish. But she didn’t see it out.
Now of course it might just be Golden Ace is more of a joker and not just good enough, but I’d be fairly sure she’s simply an out and out two-miler.
The Kingwell is over 1m7f and there should be a strong gallop, with both Burdett Road and Brentford Hope perfectly able to go from the front.
Surely we will find out just how good Golden Ace really is. I’m hoping she’s a Royal Flush.
Saturday’s feature race is the Grade 1 Betfair Ascot Chase, which for many features an unlikely raider in the shape of Corbetts Cross, trained by Emmet Mullins.
The JP McManus-owned gelding still holds an entry for the Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup, for which he is a 14-1 shot, and for many he would lack the pace for today’s 2m5f event considering he landed the 2024 National Hunt Challenge Cup over 3m6f.
However, he adds plenty of spice to a field of six numbering last year’s 1-2 Pic d’Orhy and L’Homme Presse.
The latter was favourite 12 months ago, but not for the first time jumped out to the left which did not help his cause.
Pic d’Orhy loves it here and is always hard to beat over this type of trip.
Oddly, you might think, I believe L’Homme Presse may reverse the form, and he comes into this on the back of a lovely success at Cheltenham.
If he doesn’t give too much ground away he will be bang there for the talented Charlie Deutsch and Venetia Williams.
The other race I want to mention on the Ascot card is the Betfair Exchange Handicap Hurdle, which features recent course winner Altobelli.
The one I will take a second look at here is Country Park for the Jonjo O’Neill team.
Essentially, Country Park is a little frustrating, but I’d be pretty sure he’s a better horse than his current rating of 121.
He went well through the race behind Belliano at this track recently before falling two out and was beaten by a good horse at this track last time in Jax Junior.
First-time cheekpieces are a decent move, and a drop in trip is also something that should suit.
It’s not going to be easy for a novice in a race like this, but a price in the region of 12-1 has that built in. So I’ll chance a few quid eachway.
It’s a day when you play your cards and take your chance. Let’s hope for an ace or two.

FORMER EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite has landed a new acting role in a Channel 5 drama – just months after she was spotted selling posters of herself at a car boot sale.

RexThe show is based on a book written by Reverend Richard Cole[/caption]
BBCTazmin’s breakout role was in EastEnders[/caption]
Filming has started for the six part series in the West Midlands and it is expected to air later this year on Channel 5 and AMC Networks’ Acorn TV.
Little is known about Tazmin’s character, but she will play Stella Harper among an A-list cast that includes Amanda Redman (New Tricks), Amit Shah (Happy Valley), Adam James (The Day of the Jackal), and Marion Bailey (The Crown).
The drama follows Canon Clement (Matthew Lewis), a vicar in the sleepy village of Champton.
He finds himself caught up in a murder mystery when a body is discovered in the church – after being stabbed with a pair of pruning clippers.
Her new acting gig comes after she made headlines last year when she was spotted at a car boot sale in Chigwell, Essex, selling T-shirts and posters of herself.
Dressed casually in a baseball cap and sunglasses, Tamzin reportedly struggled to shift the items, which included images of her dressed as Superwoman.
A fellow seller at the event said: “It was funny because she was selling weird-looking things, including posters of herself. She had a load of T-shirts, but people just weren’t interested.”
Tamzin later took to social media to defend her appearance, explaining that the car boot sale was an annual tradition with her children.
She wrote: “We had the best time. Teaching our kids who range from 15 down to 4 that selling your unwanted toys & clothes is a great way to save money.
“My kids made quite a bit of cash as did my brothers & cousin, and with my takings I got us a curry that night.”
Tamzin has previously spoken about selling items to help pay her mortgage, particularly when acting work slowed during the pandemic.
In 2020, she admitted: “I’m in a situation where I’m starting to sell things, home things, clothing. I think this is going to be how I’m going to pay my mortgage and exist for a while.”
Now, with her latest role in Murder Before Evensong, it looks like Tamzin is well and truly back in the spotlight.
The drama is being adapted by Midsomer Murders and DCI Banks writer Nick Hicks-Beach.
A release date for the series is expected to be announced in 2025.
