Growing up at Manor Farm Stables in Ditcheat, she began her riding career in Point-to-Points before transitioning to flat racing, where she achieved notable success with 110 winners.

Megan rode Knappers Hill to victory in the Grade Two bumper at Aintree in 2021.

But for many of us, the thought of splashing £4,000 on a ring is not just a possibility.

However, luckily for you, River Island has come to the rescue with their new range of gorgeous rings – and they’re much more affordable.

Not only are they stunning and purse-friendly, but they look strikingly similar to the iconic Cartier buy.

So if you fancy looking stylish whilst staying on a budget, then you’ve come to the right place and will need to check this out.

Thanks to the latest high-street drop, shoppers can now get their hands on Cartier-inspired rings – and they’re available in three colours.

So whether you’re a gold girlie, prefer rose gold, or only wear silver, there’s something for you.

The gorgeous rings are just £14 – a whopping £3,986 cheaper than those from the luxury jeweller.

One bargain hunter was left stunned when she spotted the new rings when browsing in her local River Island store.

Thrilled with the cheap buys, the content creator took to social media to alert others, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting online, the influencer uploaded her clip with the simple caption ‘Love them’.

She then gave her followers a close-up look at the designer-inspired rings – which are available in sizes small, medium and large – and even tried one on.

The stainless steel ring, which is also waterproof, looked gorgeous and according to this shopper, would make a perfect Valentine’s Day gift.

Clearly impressed, she beamed: “In love with the River Island rings.”

History of River Island

IT'S a well-known name on the high street, but did you know that River Island used to be called something completely different?

The fashion retailer actually started out as two separate clothing stores, which only joined forces to become the brand we now know and love in 1988.

The company behind it dates back to 1948, when British entrepreneur Bernard Lewis opened up his first clothes shop in Mare Street, Hackney, in east London.

At the age of 20, he’d launched his debut fruit and vegetable store on Holloway Road in north London, but his foray into fashion proved to be his biggest success.

After expanding to five stores, Bernard called his business Lewis Separates.

During the 1970’s he opened up a chain of clothing stores – 70, to be precise – which he later called Chelsea Girl.

It quickly became one of the UK’s first chain female fashion boutiques.

By 1982, Bernard introduced a further store, called Concept Man, to his portfolio, which offered a range of menswear.

Six years later in 1988, a third brand was formed – this one being called River Island.

A few years later, both Chelsea Girl and Concept Man merged into this one company, which is now run by Bernard’s nephew, Ben Lewis.

Die-hard River Island fans will know that in 2011, Chelsea Girl was re-introduced as a capsule collection within stores.

Fashion fans beam

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @jakimovaite, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 107,100 views in just three days.

Social media users were ‘obsessed’ with the rings and eagerly flocked to the comments to express this.

One person said: “Wow love them all.”

Another added: “Omg need one so bad.”

A third commented: “Obsessed.”

Whilst one fashionista beamed: “I love the look of these rings.”

Trump warned against ‘deal with devil’ with tyrant Putin ahead of showdown talks to ‘end Ukraine war’

DONALD Trump has been warned against cutting a deal with tyrant Vladimir Putin ahead of talks to end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The American has blindsided Ukraine and Europe’s leaders and appears ready to do business with the Kremlin directly and meet despot Vlad in Saudi Arabia.

European leaders have been left fuming that they and Ukraine appear to have been cut out of talks by Trump before the peace process even started to end the three-year-old war.

In a rebuke to the Americans, UK defence secretary John Healey warned: “There can be no negotiation about Ukraine without Ukraine and Ukraine’s voice must be at the heart of any talks.

“We all want to see a durable peace and no return to conflict and aggression – and let’s not forget, Russia remains a threat well beyond Ukraine.”

Meanwhile, the Kremlin appears to be popping the champagne at the prospect of winning the war.

Putin’s top crony Dmitry Medvedev has hailed Trump as stepping back from “apocalypse” as he celebrates the peace talks.

The former Russian President – who is mad Vlad’s top ally – gloated in a post on social media as he continued to push Russia’s false narrative that either it wins or there will be nuclear war.

Joe Biden backing Ukraine and waiting for Kyiv to lead peace negotiations was “a grave mistake,” Mevedev claimed, “which nearly wiped humanity off the face of the earth”.

While the exact details of the Trump and Putin’s deal remain unknown, it appears that America will acquiesce to Russia keeping Ukrainian land and prevent Kyiv from joining Nato – long a goal of the Kremlin.

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has denied America is “betraying Ukraine” in doing business with Russia.

At a Nato meeting in Brussels in Thursday, he said: “There is a recognition that the whole world and the United States is invested and interested in peace, a negotiated peace, as President Trump has said, stopping the killing.”

Hegseth described the Ukraine conflict as “a factory reset for NATO, a realization that this alliance needs to be robust and strong and real”.

He went on to reiterate that European nations need to increase their defence spending.

Hegseth said: “There is a Russian war machine that has sought to take more and more land in Ukraine, and standing up against that is an important European responsibility.”

On Wednesday, Hegsesth said it was “unrealistic” for Ukraine to return to its 2014 borders before Putin invaded Crimea.

Whether Kyiv will accept the deal decided between Trump and Putin remains unknown.

How America is going about securing peace has created a split between the Nato allies in Washington DC and European capitals.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz rejected any “dictated peace” and his defence minister said it was “regrettable” Washington was already making “concessions” to the Kremlin.

Nato chief Mark Rutte on Thursday said that it was crucial Kyiv is “closely involved” in any talks about what is happening in Ukraine.

In a follow-up post, Medvedev labelled Europe’s response to being cut out like a “frigid spinster” “mad with jealousy and rage”.

Relying on sexist tropes, Putin’s pal said Europe’s marginalised geopolitical role was like it having poor “chances of snagging a husband.”

He raged: “No wonder. Europe’s time is over. It’s weak, ugly and useless.”

Critics have warned against any repeat of the pre-WW2 policy of appeasement pushed by UK PM Neville Chamberlain where concessions were offered to Adolf Hitler.

Defence analyst and historian Paul Beaver yesterday told The Sun “Trump wants a Nobel Peace Prize but all he is doing is signalling weakness.

“Ukraine has had many bad days and this is worse than others because their greatest ally appears to have sold them out.

“Putin will be celebrating the success of his aggression. I fear history is repeating itself with terrifying consequences.”

Putin has agreed the “war must end”, President Trump said following the call.

Trump didn’t confirm a date when the pivotal catch-up may happen but did say it would be “in the not too distant future”.

He also expects to visit Moscow and welcome Putin’s team to Washington during his second term in office.

“The first time, we’ll meet in Saudi Arabia, see if we get something done.

“We expect that he’ll come here, and I’ll go there, and we’re going to meet also, probably in Saudi Arabia,” Trump said.

On the phone call, Putin called for “common sense” to be applied to the conversations about ending the fighting.

The chat is believed to be Putin’s first confirmed direct contact with a US president since the start of the war in February 2022.

The call reportedly lasted for around an hour and a half, according to the Kremlin.

Trump also held a phone call with Ukraine’s Zelensky to agree to the “next steps” of the conflict.

Zelensky ideally wants Russia to totally withdraw and for Ukraine to not give away any land.

But Kyiv’s position has moderated and Zelensky has said Ukraine might not get all of its land back immediately.

Trump and Putin's relationship

Donald Trump has a history of positive and admiring comments about strongman Vladimir Putin.

They have long prompted criticism from his rivals that he is “soft on Russia”.

Trump rejects that, saying that no US president was ever tougher on Moscow and that a US president needs a relationship with the Russian leader.

Trump said he “got along great” with him during his first term where they met in person five times and nine publicly reported phone conversations.

Since the start of his second term, however, Trump has criticised Putin’s conduct of the “ridiculous” Ukraine war and said that the conflict is “destroying” Russia.

Trump has threatened more sanctions on Russia if it didn’t come to the negotiating table over Ukraine.

Zelenksy has also called for tough security guarantees from Washington as part of any deal with Russia.

Kyiv fears that any settlement that does not include hard military commitments it will just allow the Kremlin time to regroup and rearm for a fresh attack.

It cut a reported deal with America to give assess to its rare earth materials held beneath its soil in return for continued military support.

Trump’s announcement of his intention to meet Putin came just hours after US teacher Marc Fogel was freed from a Russian jail.

Fogel, 63, had been serving a brutal 14-year sentence after being caught with medically prescribed marijuana at a Moscow airport in 2021.

In their viral video, the TikTok users (@arielctyson) explained that they had been trying for a girl after having multiple sons.

Ariel, 37, and Michael, 38, first began dating in 2005 and became engaged the following year, aged 19 and 20.

They officially tied the knot in 2007 and began trying for children soon after.

The couple experienced a miscarriage in 2010 and went on to welcome a healthy boy in 2011.

Five sons later, Ariel learned she was pregnant yet again and the couple wondered if they would finally have a little girl.

In 2021, they welcomed their first daughter and three years later, her sister came along.

With children aged from just under a year through to 13, Ariel has spent most of the past decade pregnant.

She also revealed that she has spent a total of 113 months breastfeeding.

This demanding feat is made all the more impressive by the fact that the TikToker continues to work from home.

She explained that her family does not employ a nanny and that their closest family live 8,000 miles away.

Ariel shared how teaching her children to be independent has been essential to helping her daily life.

She revealed that her older boys do their own laundry, take out the bins, and clean their own rooms.

The parents have also given their older children debit cards to teach them the value of money.

They use this as a way to reward them for carrying out housework, helping to lighten the load.

According to Ariel and Michael, this has also helped their sons learn to save, invest, and spend wisely.

The world's biggest families

The Vassilyev family

The Radfords

Sue and Noel are parents to 22 children, and their hectic family life is documented in reality show 22 Kids and Counting.

The pair have remained adamant that they won’t be having any more kids, but the amount of grandchildren they have is ever expanding, with daughters Sophie and Millie both mums of three.

The Duggars

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have 19 children – 10 sons and nine daughters.

All of their children’s names begin with the letter J.

They also had their own reality show in the United States, and became household names because of it.

The Bates family

Kelly also has 19 children, with her husband Gil Bates.

Of 19 deliveries, 14 of them were natural.

The couple also have 28 grandchildren, with four more on the way.

The Dougherty Dozen

Mum Alicia frequently shares videos and pictures of her family.

She and husband Josh have four biological children together, as well as adopting or fostering the rest of their brood.

The Rosario family

Yalancia and husband Michael are parents of 11.

They had their first daughter together earlier this year, and are also parents to Jamel, 15, Michael Jr, 11, Angelo, 10, Gimani, seven, Armani, six, Sincere, three and Khaza, two.

Their fourth son, also named Armani, was stillborn.

TikTok users shared their thoughts on the family in the comments section.

“Y’all need a new hobby,” wrote one viewer.

“Tell that man to leave you alone,” said another follower.

“Sir, get up off of heeeeeer,” joked a third commenter.

“Man, you guys are having too much ‘fun’ over there,” said another TikTok user.

The Australian Big Brother contestant said: “Last night was Valentine’s Day and I said to my boyfriend, I’m going to put on a show for you.

“Just been up for a lovely dinner. And I thought, I’m gonna really wow him.”

Gracie decided she would give her partner the full ‘Magic Mike 3,000’ experience, and she said he was thrilled to see it.

With her partner lying down, she decided to attempt a sexy worm dance move but as she had no upper body strength, ended up slamming her shoulder into his face.

Horrified, Gracie admitted: ” I slam my shoulder into his face and basically give him a black eye.

“I thought his nose was broken.”

Gracie thought the dance would be over at this point but her boyfriend decided to power through even with his injury.

Unfortunately, he should have stopped then before he got injured again.

While Gracie was showing off another dance move, she had to pull her body up so grabbed hold of him to help herself.

But she managed to grab the one place you shouldn’t, leaving her partner in utter agony.
