Mass grave and OVENS with charred bodies found at ‘extermination camp’ by family searching for missing person in Mexico

A NIGHTMARISH mass grave site has been uncovered during a family’s desperate search for a missing person in Mexico.

Three secret ovens with burned bodies inside were found at the horrifying scene, among disturbing piles of items left behind at the gruesome grounds including hundreds of pairs of abandoned shoes.

A private volunteer group looking for missing family members in Jalisco, Mexico, found the hidden ranch in Teuchitlán, which is in the western part of the state.

The nonprofit Guerreros Buscadores collective went to the remote area after a call from an unnamed informant on March 5.

“We found the place because we had received several anonymous calls,” Indira Navarro, a member of the search group, told AFP.

“We found charred remains, remains of charred human bodies in graves.”

Bones, bullet casings, and magazines were found at the grisly yard, which was reportedly a training center for organized crime.

The notorious Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel is believed to be behind the secret extermination camp, cops said.

The Mexican government announced on Tuesday that they would be investigating the yard as Attorney General Alejandro Gertz vowed to find answers.

“This is a very critical and serious issue,” Gertz said at a press conference.

“It is unbelievable that a situation of this nature would not have been known to the local authorities of that municipality and the state.”

While searching the site, cops found three cremation furnaces used by the CJNG.

Members of the National Guard also found a warehouse with piles of clothing items, backpacks, and suitcases.

Cops also found around 400 pairs of shoes left behind, according to the Latin Times.

Haunting footage from the property showed investigators searching through the dumped shoes.

The personal items are believed to have belonged to victims who were kidnapped and killed at the death camp, which is known as Izaguirre Ranch.

HAUNTING GRAVE SITE FINDS

One of the most disturbing findings at the ranch was a handwritten letter written by one of the victims.

“My love, if one day I never return, I only ask that you remember how much I love you and say, ‘My anger, tantrum, and jealousy are gone.'” the letter said.

Investigators also found a Bible with three pictures of children.

“These photos found at the Teuchitlán ranch may be a sign of hope for some family,” the collective said, according to the Daily Mail.

“Mom or dad was carrying them, and they were found nestled in the middle of a Bible.”

Searchers also found a notebook with a page featuring the nicknames of 54 victims.

Cops said the list was grouped by 10 people at a time.

Officials haven’t confirmed the names of the victims.

Jalisco is the Mexican state with the most missing people, according to the National Search Commission.

Nearly 15,000 remain missing in the state.

Mexico is a hot potato right now with cartels being labeled as terrorist organization affiliates. There’s a lot of uncertainty of how the Mexican cartels are going to react. We’ve seen an uptick in violence.”

Stacy ZinnRetired Drug Enforcement Agent

It comes as President Donald Trump‘s ironclad approach against Mexican drug cartels has forced the country’s government to come down hard on powerful criminal syndicates.

Trump’s executive order designated eight Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

Plus, his tariff threats against Mexico sparked measures against fentanyl production in Sinaloa state, the home of the Sinaloa Cartel, the most powerful gang.

The government has since enacted arrests, extraditions, and drug lab busts and seizures.

WARNING TO SPRING BREAKERS

However, a former Drug Enforcement Agent warned The U.S. Sun that the crackdown might put Spring Breakers in Mexico in danger.

Stacy Zinn, a retired DEA official who spent nearly 23 years at the agency, said rival gangs are now left battling for power in tourist hotspots with the major players out of the picture.

“Mexico is a hot potato right now with cartels being labeled as terrorist organization affiliates,” Zinn told The U.S. Sun.

“There’s a lot of uncertainty of how the Mexican cartels are going to react.

“We’ve seen an uptick in violence. There was more of cartel versus cartel type situations but Americans or travelers can still get caught up in the crossfire of the rival members, who are trying to establish new boundaries.

Zinn continued, “The more that we arrest individuals and they get extradited back up to the United States, the more of a void it leaves in Mexico, which means that people are going to be dying for positioning and see the uptick.”

Horse owner dedicates Cheltenham win to tragic jockey Michael O’Sullivan’s brave girlfriend Charlotte

MARINE NATIONALE owner Barry Connell dedicated Cheltenham victory to Michael O’Sullivan’s brave girlfriend Charlotte Giles.

Jockey Sean Flanagan rode him to a win in the Queen Mother Champion Chase today.

The 5/1 chance beat the heavy favourite Jonbon and there was emotional scenes at the end of the race.

Marine Nationale had won the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle two years ago with O’Sullivan in the saddle.

But the highly-rated 24-year-old jockey tragically passed away last month following injuries sustained after a fall.

The horse’s owner Connell said to ITV after victory: “The thing is, it is how poignant and how raw the whole thing has been over the last three or four weeks.

“It has been horrendous. Michael went on a journey with this horse. He rode him in all his races in his novice season over hurdles.

“He started as a 7lb claimer with us and I asked him to turn pro. He ended up winning three Grade 1 races as a claimer, leading rider on the first day and then champion conditional.

“I don’t think the historians can find anyone that did all that.

“It’s an absolute tragedy that he’s left us, but he has a record that we can all be proud of.

“He achieved more in a lifetime than a lot of riders who’ve been riding a long time achieved.

“I’d like to dedicate this win to Michael and his girlfriend Charlotte who’s here.

“Our hearts go out to all the family and friends. Hopefully this is a fitting end.”

Flanagan, who wore the same colours as O’Sullivan did for his famous win on Marine Nationale, added to the touching tributes, saying: “This is for you, Michael.

“All the jockeys in the world have been under a cloud. Michael is the man that made this horse what he is.

“He will never be forgotten for that. I was only drafted in very late and paid to steer him round.”

Sky Sports F1 in huge shake up for 2025 as Damon Hill AXED after being ‘pushed’ and world champ and female star come in

SKY SPORTS have made a big change to their presenting team with Damon Hill AXED ahead of the new season.

The 2025 campaign gets underway with the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday.

But a familiar face in Hill will be missing after he stepped away from Sky Sports, claiming he was “pushed back” by the broadcaster.

Replacing the former F1 champion will be Jamie Chadwick.

She is a three-time W Series champion and will compete in the European Le Mans Series this year.

Another move sees Jacques Villeneuve returning for more appearances.

Villeneuve, 53, claimed his F1 title the year after Hill in 1997 and has provided analysis for Sky Sports on his home race – the Canadian Grand Prix – in the past.

He made two appearances last season and revealed he would be keen to come back for more.

When asked about returning, Villeneuve said: “I had an absolute blast. It was so fun, it was a big group but a really good group.

“Of course, I would be happy to do more.”

Cheltenham Festival betting offers and free bets

Hill had a very different view of his role at Sky Sports, having been a pundit for the broadcaster since 2012.

He said: “I think I felt like the end was coming anyway, because I was kind of pushed back all last year.

“I was doing the less attractive races. And they’ve got younger, fresher names.

“They’ve got Jenson [Button], they’ve got Nico [Rosberg]. And that’s fair enough – I completely get it.

“They’re closer to the front line than I am. And it’s TV. There’s got to be a bit of eye-candy factor to it.”

Human hair found in drain near to where woman, 54, vanished in ‘no body’ murder probe – after man, 47, charged

COPS searching for a missing woman have found a strand of human hair close to where she was last seen.

Julie Buckley, 54 was last captured on CCTV on January 28 in a Budgens store in the village of March, Cambridgeshire.

Two bungalows eight miles apart have been sealed off by Cambridgeshire Police[/caption]

A local fisherman spotted the hair somewhere on Six Foot Bank – a wide drainage ditch which runs across the Cambridgeshire Fens and handed it over to detectives.

Cambridgeshire Police are currently doing tests to see if the strand matches the missing woman’s DNA.

It comes after cops launched a “no-body” murder investigation on February 14 following Julie’s shock disappearance.

Karl Hutchings, 47, from the same village, was charged with her murder.

Hutchings is due to appear for a plea hearing on 17 March and a trial date has been set for 21 September.

Three more people have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A man, 49, and woman, 42, from Christchurch have been released on bail while another man, 45, has been remanded in custody.

Two bungalows eight miles apart were also previously sealed off in connection with the investigation.

The circumstances suggested Julie likely came to “serious harm”.

Police are still appealing for any information about Julie’s whereabouts and is urging anyone who has seen her in recent weeks to get in touch.

Detective Inspector Richard Stott appeared on BBC’s Crimewatch Live programme to ask for further information.

He said: “We strongly believe Julie may have come to harm and we’re carrying out thorough searches of the area.

“Our dive teams have been searching the water around the Bedlam Bridge and Boots Bridge areas and a fisherman discovered what we believe to be human hair in the water.

“We’re awaiting results from that hair to ascertain if it belongs to Julie.

“In the meantime, we’re issuing a widespread appeal today to ask for anyone with information to please come forward, as well as anyone with dashcam footage from the March and Christchurch areas, particularly around Bedlam Bridge and Boots Bridge, on January 29 and 30.

“We’re also appealing to dog walkers, fishermen, farmers and land owners in the area.

If you notice disturbed land or anything unusual or out of place, please report it to us.”
