Danny Jones and wife Georgia WILL stay together after crisis talks over Maura kiss – as they make first public outing

DANNY Jones and his wife Georgia Horsley will stay together after their crisis talks over his kiss with Maura Higgins.

The couple put on a united front as they were seen for the first time on Tuesday, since his kiss with his I’m A Celebrity co-star Maura.

Pals said the couple, who married in August 2014, were determined to move past the scandal and get on with their lives.

Danny and Georgia, both 38, had not been seen together in public since The Sun revealed a video of him sharing a brief, drunken kiss with Maura at the Brit Awards.

But this week, they were seen in Richmond, West London, after going out to buy a couple of coffees.

McFly singer Danny and Georgia both appeared stony faced after returning from a week-long break away.

But a friend close to the couple insisted they were strong and united.

They added: “Danny and Georgia took time away together to talk about what happened at the Brits.

“It has been incredibly embarrassing for them both and Danny had a lot of questions to answer.

“Their marriage is strong though and Danny and Georgia just want to move on with their lives now.

“They are a united team and just want to focus on the future.

“As far as Danny and Georgia are concerned, they have done all the talking they needed to do and now they just want to try and get back to normal.”

The Sun revealed last week how Danny and Maura appeared to kiss at 180 Studios while they were at Universal Music’s official Brit Awards after party.

The pair then left the venue shortly after 3am and travelled to Sony Music’s after party in Nobu Portman Square.

Danny and Maura were filmed holding glasses of red wine inside the posh hotel around 4am.

Following the reports, Danny and Georgia left their home in London to discuss what had happened.

Maura lay low too, before flying to Los Angeles earlier this week for work.

Three tips to avoid a big expense on kids’ clothes and keep bills small

CHILDREN seem to be in and out of clothes in the blink of an eye, they grow so fast.

Buying outfits can feel like a big expense, but you don’t have to keep buying new.

You don’t need to buy new, children’s clothes are often resold with very little wear and tear[/caption]

Here’s how to save . . .

SWAP: Organise a regular swap session with other parents where everyone brings outgrown kids’ clothes.

Do it at home and make it a social event with tea and coffee. Or suggest a school or nursery hosts a rail or table where parents can pick up and drop off clothes at school events.

SECONDHAND: The fast turnover of clothes from children can make charity shops a fantastic place to find good clothes at low prices.

Shops can sell items for as little as 20p and it can be worth buying clothes for them to grow into if you spot pieces at a good price.

Vinted is also a great place to pick up stuff in good nick at low prices, especially items that can be more expensive such as coats and shoes.

Or try thelittleloop.com — the site allows parents to buy discounted clothing, but you can also trade it in again when you are finished with it and receive up to 30 per cent off the resale value as credit.

The site also allows you to buy two “clear-out” packs for £2 and you’ll get £5 credit for every full bag of clothes you send back, with free postage.

SALE BUYS: Rummage through sales to get some fantastic bargains, especially discounted clothes that are coming out of season — for example, you’ll be able to buy scarves, boots and coats going into spring and summer.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Sainsbury’s Tu sale in-store, where clothes often have up to 70 per cent off.

Simply buy a size up and save for next year.

Try clarksoutlet.co.uk for discounted quality shoes all year round, including footwear for school. New customers can sign up free to get ten per cent off their first order.

  • All prices on page correct at time of going to press. Deals and offers subject to availability.

Mind-blown phone fans find secret torch feature that lets you change the SHAPE of light beam on millions of phones

A CLEVER iPhone trick lets you change the shape of the beam of light from its built-in torch.

Gadget fans have spotted the handy feature, which has only been out for a few months.

Apple
You can use this pop-up to control not just the brightness of the torch – but its shape too[/caption]

But it’s available on millions of iPhone models, and you might have the right one.

Apple has been letting you change the brightness of your iPhone’s torch for years.

But it’s now also possible to have a very wide light, or a focused beam that can shine on a specific point.

First, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve updated your iPhone to iOS 18.

That’s the software update that came out in September last year.

Just go to Settings > General > Software Update to check if you have it.

Then activate your torch. You can do it from the Lock Screen (using the little shortcut icon) or using the button in the Control Centre.

This should bring up a pop-up showing a torch with some lines around it.

To control it, press your finger on the torch illustration, then move it up and down to control brightness.

And if you move your finger left and right, that will change the focus of the beam.

So if you drag your finger all the way to the right, you’ll get a thin and focused beam.

Similarly, move it all the way to the left to get a very broad light.

And pushing your finger up towards the top of the pop-up will give you the brightest possible light.

Moving it all the way down will dim it – and even switch it off entirely.

A gadget fan who discovered the feature posted to Reddit asking: “Why did it take me so long to find out you can change the focus of the flashlight?”

Another Apple fan replied: “It’s not a well-documented feature.”

One wrote: “Geez, I knew I could adjust the brightness but this post taught me that I can adjust the width of the beam too.”

Another said: “I legit just found this out too. I adjust the brightness all the time that way. Never thought about swiping horizontally.”

iOS 18 devices – can your iPhone get it?

Here are the devices that can get the new iOS 18 update

And one added: “OP definitely did a good turn raising awareness of this feature.

“My job requires a flashlight at times and sometimes I don’t have said flashlight, so having the ability to have a more focused beam of light might help me a lot. I tip my hat to you, OP”

But some gadget fans complained that their devices didn’t offer the feature.

One wrote: “It’s only on the newer models I believe. My iPhone 13 Pro doesn’t have this feature.”

Another said: “14 Pro onwards I believe. My 15 doesn’t have it.”

And one added: “Yeah my 14 Pro has this feature meanwhile my friend’s 15 doesn’t have. So yeah, only Pro models.”

Here’s a list of the iPhone models that the trick works on:

  • iPhone 14 Pro
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max
  • iPhone 15 Pro
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max
  • iPhone 16 Pro
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max

If you have an iPhone that isn’t on that list, you’ll only be able to adjust the brightness of the torch.

Tyson Fury could fight for WORLD TITLE in boxing return as doubt over Anthony Joshua fight continues

TYSON FURY could end up fighting for a world title in his first fight back from retirement.

The Gypsy King called it quits for the fifth time in January following back-to-back losses to former undisputed heavyweight champ Oleksandr Usyk.

WBC chief Mauricio Sulaiman has refused to rule out the possibility of Fury fighting for a belt upon his return[/caption]

Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh is expected to table Fury an astronomical offer to coax him out of retirement for a mammoth showdown with Anthony Joshua.

And WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman has refused to rule out the prospect of Fury fighting for their prestigious green belt, telling The Action Network: “We don’t speculate.

“But we have many examples of how we have attended former champions, former legends coming back to boxing.

“If you remember, Sugar Ray Leonard challenged Marvin Hagler after a four-year retirement.

“The WBC analysed the medicals and looked into everything.

“Even Tyson Fury retired in the past and came back to fight for the WBC title. So let’s see.”

Former two-time unified heavyweight Fury is seemingly content with life without boxing, recently telling cousin Andy Lee that he “can’t be f***ed” with the sport.

And Sulaiman insists the Wythenshawe warrior has nothing left to prove.

Cheltenham Festival betting offers and free bets

Illustration of Tyson Fury's retirement history.

He said: “It all depends; it is all on him. He has a beautiful family.

“I believe the money that he has sets him up for life and if he decides to stay retired then he will be a happy man.

“But if he decides to come back to boxing then he can beat anyone.

“Safety is first, with happiness and legacy is more of an important matter than what boxing and money can bring.

“If he was to fight, he would be fighting for pride but he’s an unbelievable human being.”

Boxing fans around the world are hoping Fury comes out of retirement to face AJ, who hasn’t given up hope of their Battle of Britain finally coming to fruition.

The Watford warrior told iFL TV: “I feel like it’s the best fight [for me].

“People might say [Joseph] Parker, people might say – I don’t know.

Anthony Joshua is refusing to give up hope of fighting Tyson Fury[/caption]

“But I think Fury, commercially, is a great fight and it’s a great man’s fight as well. So I think it makes sense.

“You could say it’s been years in the making. But listen, the heavyweight division has been thriving.

“And why I say it’s probably still a great fight is as I said Parker is, for me, a great story of someone that never gives up.

“And the thing is, there is going to be one winner and one loser and there’s going to be bloodshed.

“And it ain’t gonna be mine.”

‘Phenomenal shade’ say fans as Leeds United admin savages Millwall ahead of Wednesday night’s Championship clash

LEEDS cheekily announced that more tickets have become available for their Championship clash with Millwall tomorrow night.

Daniel Farke’s side will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at Portsmouth last Sunday.

The Championship leaders are set to be backed by a boisterous capacity crowd at their 37,792-capacity Elland Road home.

And after Millwall failed to sell out their allocation, understandable given it is a mid-week 400-mile round trip, Leeds‘ social media admin made a cheeky dig.

Their post read: “With Millwall selling just 391 tickets for tomorrow night’s clash, an extra allocation has now been made available to #LUFC members.”

Plenty of fans responded to Leeds’ post on social media.

One wrote: “The masked shade thrown by this is phenomenal.”

While a second blasted: “That’s embarrassing just 391.”

A third commented: “shaaaaade.”

Although a fourth admitted: “Ffs Millwall admin will be all over this if they beat us.”

And another added: “You just know if we lose tomorrow the Millwall admin gonna have a field day with this.”

While Leeds are gunning for promotion, the Lions are safely entrenched in mid-table.

Millwall won the reverse fixture at The Den back in November.

While the Lions also went on to dump Leeds out of the FA Cup.

There have been several feisty encounters between the sides down the years.

Both clubs condemned “tragedy chanting” following their FA Cup meeting last month.
