Bungling HS2 bosses have no clue how much taxpayers’ cash has been spent on luxury lodging for NEWTS

BUNGLING HS2 bosses have no clue how much taxpayers’ cash has been spent on luxury lodging for newts, The Sun can reveal.

Rail chiefs confessed they can’t even put a price on their “newt hotels” splurge – despite already blowing £100m on a bat tunnel.

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Maureen McLean/Shutterstock (14130361aw) HS2 hoardings and construction at the HS2 High Speed Rail Euston site in London. The HS2 Euston Terminus construction work is now being wound down as the HS2 Euston Terminus work is being mothballed due to rising costs. It has been reported by the BBC that 215 homes have been demolished in Euston due to HS2, 70 businesses have been displaced, and many businesses continue to suffer from lack of customers due to closed roads. In the past few days there has been much speculation that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is expected to announce the cancellation of the HS2 High Speed Rail Northern Leg from Birmingham to Manchester as the cost of the project spiral out of control HS2 High Speed Rail, Phase 2 Possible Cancellation, Euston, London, UK - 28 Sep 2023

HS2’s Deputy Chief Alan Foster admitted in a letter to MPs the project never required contractors to separate out the cost of their amphibian all-inclusives.

Furious Labour MP Luke Charters, who sits on the Public Accounts Committee, slammed the revelation, calling it a “farce”.

He told The Sun: “The idea that taxpayers are footing the bill for newts to go on an all-inclusive is an absolute joke.

“This Government is already cracking down on HS2 spending just nine months into office and fixing planning laws in the process.

“After wasting £100m on a bat tunnel and now building an unspecified number of newt hotels, it’s vital HS2 aren’t given any more leeway.”

HS2 has developed multiple “newt marinas” along its construction route to protect great crested newts, a legally protected species in the UK.

One of them is at Halse Copse, near Banbury in Oxfordshire, featuring five custom-built ponds, sunbathing banks for newts, and a chalet-style shelter for hibernation.

It comes after HS2 was exposed for splashing £100m on a tunnel for bats, with ministers now under pressure to find out what other wildlife freebies have been quietly buried in the budget.

In a damning report last month, the PAC said HS2 is an example of “how not to run a major project”.

The influential group of MPs said HS2 Ltd – the Government-owned company responsible for building the high-speed railway – and the Department for Transport have “failed to work together effectively”.

This is “starkly illustrated by their continued disagreement” over how much it will cost to build the line from London to the West Midlands, the report stated.

The DfT’s estimated range in November 2023 was £45 billion to £54 billion, while HS2 Ltd’s latest estimate in June 2024 was between £54 billion and £66 billion.

All these figures were in 2019 prices.

Once adjusted for inflation, the cost “might be close to £80 billion”, according to the report.

The PAC said: “The HS2 programme has become a casebook example of how not to run a major project.

“It is unacceptable that over a decade into the programme we still do not know what it will cost, what the final scope will be, when it will finally be completed or what benefits it will deliver.”

In October last year, then-prime minister Rishi Sunak cancelled a plan to extend HS2 between the West Midlands and Manchester.

The planned leg to Leeds was axed in November 2021.

A previous review was carried out in 2020 because of escalating costs and delays.

The committee noted there are “significant risks” with the redevelopment of London’s Euston station.

The Government confirmed in October 2024 it would pay for tunnelling work to the station from Old Oak Common in the west London suburbs.

But it is “unclear how achievable” the DfT’s goal of Euston’s redevelopment being privately-funded is, the PAC said.

Oasis’ secret reunion tour rehearsal plans revealed as Liam Gallagher confirms band line-up

THE countdown to Oasis’ first comeback show is on – and the reunion wheels are well and truly in motion.

Noel and Liam Gallagher, along with bandmates Andy Bell, Gem Archer, Bonehead and Joey Waronker will soon be locked in rehearsals getting ready for the sell-out shows.

Liam and Noel Gallagher are busy plotting their first rehearsals ahead of the much-awaited reunion tour[/caption]

My insider told me Oasis’ first sessions are due to take place in the middle of May, with the decision to have a short but intense series of rehearsals to get them ready for classics such as Rock ’N’ Roll Star and Don’t Look Back In Anger.

“Noel and Liam are masters of their craft but even legends need time to rehearse,” my mole explained.

“The sessions are looking to start around mid-May.

“It’s going to be short but sweet.

“The band haven’t all played together in a long time but when it comes to performing Oasis tracks, it’s like riding a bike.

“These sessions won’t always include Noel and Liam.

“It’s just a question of making sure that everyone is up to speed and that they have the tracks on the set list nailed down.”

With every Oasis fan desperate to see Noel and Liam together, my insider said the location of the rehearsals is a closely guarded secret.

The 19 shows kick off in Cardiff on July 4 and although Noel and Liam originally said the reunion would not be televised, yesterday they confirmed my story that a film was being made about them.

Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight is taking the helm, which is handy given he has a knack of telling tales about siblings who clash.

As well as the film, it seems Oasis’ team are now ramping up the hype around the concerts and appear to be planning a big social media campaign featuring Noel and Liam.

A handful of very lucky fans who have tickets, including one of my mates, have been contacted by the team and asked to get in touch with their questions.

The top-secret message read: “You’ve been selected as part of an exclusive group to ask Oasis those burning questions you’ve been dying to know.

“Whether it’s about their legendary albums, wild tour stories or creative process, now’s your chance to get answers straight from the band.

“Click the link below and get ready for some unforgettable responses.”

Our only question lads, is why now?

Chapp’s drilled in

Chappell Roan holding a power drill.

Ryan Lee Clemens

CHAPPELL ROAN is building on her recent success with latest single The Giver.

She released the song yesterday and dressed as a construction worker for the video on YouTube.

The singer told Apple Music 1 radio station the track is a “lesbian song” which “pokes fun at country boys”.

Chappell added: “I love a man who can shovel horse manure.”

Meanwhile, on TikTok, she said of a new album: “We’re so beyond far away from that, I could not even tell you.”

Guetta than ever

DAVID GUETTA is returning to Ibiza for a mammoth four-month residency this summer.

The chart-topping DJ will perform at Ushuaia every Monday from June 9 to October 6 with his F*** Me I’m Famous! night, which he has been staging there for more than two decades.

And this year I’m told he has created custom visuals to make it bigger than ever.

At neighbouring nightclub Hï, DJ and producer Black Coffee has announced his seventh residency, pumping out house music every Saturday from May 17 until October 4.

MADONNA is teasing us in more ways than one, as she strips down to her underwear and hints at her new album.

She looked sexy at 66 with black lingerie and hair in curlers as she got ready to go out.

And in the pictures shared on Instagram, Madge seemed to reference her upcoming album, Confessions Part 2.

It is a sequel to her 2005 record Confessions On A Dance Floor, which featured the hit Hung Up.

She captioned the photos: “Waiting is the hardest part . . . ”

It has now been six years since Madonna released her last album, Madame X, which is the longest gap between studio records since the singer released her self-titled debut in 1983.

But given it’s the two-decade anniversary of the first Confessions record, 2025 would be the perfect time to drop it.

SNOW White star Rachel Zegler is coming to the West End to be Eva Peron in a revival of Evita.

The actress makes her London theatre debut in the role, having recently spent time in Cabaret on Broadway.

It will run at the London Palladium from June 14 to September 6, and make her one of the highest-paid stars on the London stage.

Gemma Collins claims she “lost an absolute fortune” betting at Cheltenham
Paul Edwards

GEMMA COLLINS was all smiles at Cheltenham races despite squandering hundreds of pounds.

The reality TV regular revealed she “lost an absolute fortune” betting on the horses after “going off vibes” rather than information.

Gemma, who watched on with actor Danny Dyer, said: “None of the horses I bet on won, but it’s been amazing.

“I know nothing about horses, absolutely nothing.

“But I think if I hear a name or see a name and I get a vibe, then I will take a punt and put a bet on.

“It’s not just for men.

“Women can come to these places and have a great day.”

Don’t worry Gemma.

When Bizarre’s Jack went to Ascot last month he didn’t check the odds properly and while his horse won, he somehow still ended up losing money.

KT is all clued up

GIVEN her runaway 2004 hit Suddenly I See was chosen as the soundtrack to blockbuster film The Devil Wears Prada, it was a no-brainer for Clueless, The Musical to ask KT Tunstall to write the songs.

And the Scottish singer has more than nailed it, with incredible original tracks including Perfect, Human Barbies and New Girl telling the story of original teenage brat Cher Horowitz.

KT Tunstall sitting on the floor.
KT Tunstall was chosen to write the soundtrack to Clueless, The Musical

“We’ve been working on this for five years,” KT tells me in an exclusive chat inside the Trafalgar Theatre in central London.

“We were unbelievably lucky to have found Emma Flynn and Keelan McAuley as the leads, they’re from another planet.”

Alongside lyricist Glenn Slater, KT revolutionised how musicals are written and performed, with the band playing live for eight shows a week until the run ends in September.

‘PIONEERING’

“We’re actually really pioneering on this show by using an electronic drum kit with 24 different sounding drum kits,” KT explains.

“You can go straight from a Green Day-inspired song to an NSYNC one – and it means the band is chameleonic.

Technology can be an amazing thing, particularly with the kind of kit that we are using for this show.

“I was aware, as a musician, that this band will play eight times a week for months on end.

“I think it’s a really positive thing for them to be challenged.”

Although the musical has been a long time in the works, and has been a real labour of love for KT, she says it has not all been a chore.

“It’s just hours of bangers from different genres.

“It’s Janet Jackson to Nirvana and then Supergrass,” KT says.

“And at the same time this is just an iconic era for me.

“It’s the 20th anniversary year of my first record Eye To The Telescope.

“And it’s the 50th anniversary of me as a human being.”

I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate than with Clueless.

Bravo, KT. You nailed it.

Nod to 90s nostalgia ahoy

By Veronica Lorraine

IT was only a matter of time until Clueless got the musical treatment.

And what a joyful, charming, preppy, permanent-grin-on-your-face West End stage production it actually is.

Thankfully, the show at the Trafalgar Theatre in London follows the 1995 film almost to the letter – so full of pre-social media nods to Nineties nostalgia.

But it’s the super-enthusiastic young stars belting out some really catchy tunes to breathlessly speedy, very clever set changes that sweep you up and carry you along.

The fact that KT Tunstall has composed the catchy bangers, to whip smart lyrics by Glenn Slater, elevates this high above some of the recent stage offerings regenerating old pop songs.

And lead Emma Flynn, right, channels blonde teen queen Cher Horowitz so hard, it’s like watching a combination of Alicia Silverstone, Reese Witherspoon and Rachel McAdams in one.

She is a real star in the making.

A fab, fun, “totally bugging” Betty of a production.

Danny Jones spotted out laughing with mates as he issues apology to his wife for ‘drunk BRITs kiss’ with Maura Higgins

DANNY Jones was spotted out and about laughing with pals as he issued a public apology to his wife for his drunken BRITs kiss with Maura Higgins.

The McFly star was all smiles as he stepped out in London with two of his friends.

Danny issued this statement to Instagram[/caption]

He appeared relaxed and happy as he enjoyed a stroll with his friends just before taking to Instagram to share a public apology and address the kiss scandal for the very first time.

Danny kept things low-key wearing a black hoodie and jogging bottoms for the outing as well as a cap on his head.

The Sun revealed how Maura and Danny, who appeared together in the jungle last year, shared a brief kiss during Universal Music’s Brit Awards after party on 3 March.

Today Danny broke his silence and said: “Hello everyone. Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.

“I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation.

“I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.”

Danny continued: “I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding and support.

“See you all soon, Danny.”

Meanwhile, just an hour before Danny uploaded his apology to his wife Georgia on Instagram, Maura had shared a series of sexy posts online.

The former Love Island star is currently in Los Angeles and posted some sizzling shots from a photo shoot to her own Instagram account.

In the snaps and footage, Maura is dressed in a little white frock, cowboy boots and a white stetson hat.

With her hair styled in beachy waves, she is sat in the back of a truck while clutching a bottle of beer.

The Sun exclusively revealed earlier this month how Danny, 39, and Maura, 34, were caught on camera sharing a ‘drunken kiss’ following this year’s Brit Awards in London.

At the time, model and social media star Georgia, 38, was at home with their son Cooper, seven.

We later revealed how Danny and Maura were spotted again sharing wine at London’s exclusive Nobu Hotel until 6am.

The pair were seen in a video gazing at each other at the fancy establishment, which they visited soon after their 3am smooch.

They then disappeared into a darkened, curtained-off side room at the hotel, with staff saying the room was only for use by guests.

DRAWING A LINE

Pals said at the time that Danny was keen to draw a line under the scandal, which saw him holding crisis talks with Georgia, his wife of ten years.

A friend said: “Danny wants to draw a line in the sand and move on.

“He has talked with Georgia, and they just want to carry on with their lives.

“His actions were incredibly embarrassing, and he has expressed how much he regrets it.

“Now is the time to move past it and try and get back to normal.”

Danny and Georgia left their home in London following the news of their kiss.

Maura also fled the UK and headed to Los Angeles for a photoshoot with Oh Polly.

She has still not spoken about the kiss.

Ezviz EP3x Pro review: This solar-powered doorbell with 2K video and no hidden costs truly wowed me

EZVIZ video doorbell mounted on brick wall.

EZVIZ has raised the bar with its latest doorbell, featuring its first-ever dual-lens camera.

I’ve tested it in this EZVIZ EP3x Pro review to see if it’s a must-have for home security.

I’ve tested plenty of smart home devices, but security is where they really prove their worth.

Everyone wants to feel safe at home, but setting up a full-on security system can be a hassle, not to mention expensive.

That’s why Ezviz’s solar-powered video doorbell caught my attention.

This handy gadget keeps an eye on the front door without the faff of battery changes or complicated setup; you just let the sun power it.

Ezviz is known for its affordable, user-friendly security cameras, and this doorbell sticks to that formula.

With crisp 2K video, smart alerts, and 24/7 monitoring, it promises a fuss-free experience.

I put it to the test to see if it’s as hassle-free as it sounds and how it stacks up against the big names in smart security.

Read on for my full thoughts.

Pros

  • Easy installation, with flexible mounting options
  • Solar-powered, reducing the need for frequent charging
  • Excellent video quality
  • Generous storage at no extra cost

Cons

  • Bulky design
  • Occasional lag in notifications

Rating: 8/10

How I tested the Ezviz EP3x Pro

I mounted the EP3x Pro with the self-adhesive strips and have been testing it for just over a week now.

It’s set up on the porch by my front door, with the solar panel above soaking up as much sunlight as possible.

To make the most of its features, I enabled intelligent AI detection, which sends alerts when someone’s spotted.

With frequent deliveries and family coming and going, it’s had plenty of action.

Ezviz EP3x Pro review: Quickfire Q&A

How much is the Ezviz EP3x Pro? It’s on the pricy side at £129.99, but you’ll find it on sale for £99.99 on Ezviz’s Amazon storefront.

Who’s it best for? It’s ideal for anyone who wants a budget-friendly, easy-to-install video doorbell with great features like solar power, free cloud storage, and no hidden costs.

What we loved: Easy setup, clear 2K video with colour night vision, free cloud storage, solar power, and two-way talk.

What we didn’t: The design is bulky and may not suit every door, and there’s the occasional notification delay.

Ezviz EP3x Pro review: The Nitty Gritty

First Impressions

Straight out of the box, the Ezviz EP3x Pro makes a strong first impression.

The modern design, solid metal casing, and large button give it a premium feel.

It definitely looks the part, but there’s no getting around its size, at 5cm wide, it’s quite bulky, so anyone coming to your door won’t miss it.

It comes with two mounting brackets: one angled to give a better view of visitors and another that sits flush against the wall.

There’s also two installation options, either screw it in place or use the included self-adhesive strips for smooth surfaces.

I opted for the later on my door frame, and the whole setup took just minutes from unboxing to installation.

The strips are impressively strong, I know this because I decided to reposition the doorbell away from my handle, and it took some real effort to remove.

Thankfully, it didn’t leave any residue and stuck just as firmly the second time around.

Charging is flexible too; you can either plug it in via USB-C or use the solar panel to let the sun do the work.

I wanted to see how well the solar option performed, so I positioned it just above the door to soak up as much sunlight as possible.

Getting it connected to the Ezviz app was just as easy.

Hand holding a beige Ezviz doorbell camera.
Tom Tyers
It has three cameras, angled down to keep an eye on parcels left at the doorstep[/caption]

After downloading the app and setting up an account, I was guided through everything with clear, step-by-step instructions.

In minutes, I had a live view of my front door; no need to hunt for a Philips screwdriver or mess around with wiring.

So from the off, its delivered on its promise.

What makes this doorbell even smarter is its cameras, including three angled towards the step at its base.

That means I’ll know exactly when a parcel arrives while I’m out and can keep an eye on it until I get back.

Does it deliver?

When the camera detects motion, you get a notification on your phone via the app, so you can see who’s at your door.

It works really well, I even got a few less-than-flattering images of myself while installing the doorbell, so I know it’s doing its job.

It’s also handy for responding to visitors in real time, and I’ve used the two-way talk function to tell delivery drivers where to leave my parcels, keeping them out of sight.

The angled camera quality is just as impressive[/caption]

Ezviz EP3x Pro Solar-Powered Video Doorbell,

Now and then, there was a slight delay between the doorbell being pressed and the app sending the notification.

So, on the rare occasion, I missed a call, but most of the time everything ran smoothly.

The live view quality and what the EP3x Pro captures when motion is detected are both clear and impressive.

I opted for the colour night vision, and even though the lighting around my rural spot isn’t great, the footage was still clear and surprisingly good.

One of my favorite features of the Ezviz doorbell is that it comes with up to six months of video storage, thanks to the included 32GB of built-in storage.

That’s not something you always get, especially since competitors like Ring tend to hide these features behind a paywall.

Tom Tyers
The app lets you store event recordings for up to six months[/caption]
Nighttime security camera footage of a brick walkway.
Tom Tyers
The colour night vision is impressive[/caption]

Getting storage included from the start, without extra costs, was a big win for me.

You can also keep an eye on the battery life in the app.

So far, the solar power is working well, and my battery is sitting at around 70% and hasn’t budged since I set it up.

I haven’t needed to charge it yet, but it’s good to know the option to plug it in with a USB-C cable is there if needed.

How much is the Ezviz EP3x Pro?

You can pick up an Ezviz video doorbell starting at £79.99, with the pro models going up to £129.99, which is pretty much in line with big names like Ring.

While that might seem like a lot for a lesser-known brand, there are a few things that make it worth considering.

The EP3x Pro model comes with solar power and a dual lens, and what’s better, it comes with 32GB of free cloud storage with no subscriptions or hidden costs.

So, from day one, it starts paying for itself.

Where to buy the Ezviz EP3x Pro

If you’re looking to buy the Ezviz EP3x Pro, there are a few places where you can grab it online.

The official Ezviz website and Amazon are the main go-tos, but you can also find it on sites like eBay.

It’s always worth checking around for the best deal.

Alternatives

Abstract Smooth Brown wall background layout design, studio, room, web template,Business report with smooth circle gradient color.
There’s no shortage of options when it comes to video doorbells

When it comes to video doorbells, brands like Ring and Blink dominate the market.

Most offer rechargeable batteries or wired installation, but few provide a sleek, solar-powered option like Ezviz.

For similar features, such as a quality camera, night vision, and wide field of view, the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus or Blink Video Doorbell are natural alternatives.

If you’re after a more budget-friendly option, the Sharkpop offers 1080p video, two-way talk, and night vision for just £18.99.

Alternatively, keep an eye out for sales events like Prime Day or Black Friday, when you can score a big-name brand at a better price.

Ezviz EP3x Pro review: The verdict

The Ezviz EP3x Pro is a solid, budget-friendly smart doorbell offering easy installation, impressive 2K video quality, and up to six months of free storage.

Its solar power option and two-way talk feature are standout perks, but the bulky design and occasional notification delays may be drawbacks for some.

Overall, it’s a great value, especially considering the lack of hidden costs.

Just over 12 hours after Spurs’ progression to the quarters, the WWE unveiled their new range of Legacy Title belts, which includes the colours and crests of 13 European clubs.

A Spurs-inspired belt is among those created by wrestling‘s top promotion, which McIntyre mocked on X.

He quoted the WWE’s announcement post and wrote: “That’s the only title Tottenham have seen in years.”

McIntyre’s savage dig at Spurs spread like wildfire, with one viewer commenting: “Tottenham are trolled by WWE wrestlers too LMAO.”

Another said: “Cook Ange.”

“And another said: “Cook those frauds.”

One remarked: “Man’s outchea cooking [Daniel] Levy and Spurs.”

Another chimed in: “Whew! Spurs were cooked from a different sport. Drew, stir the soup well, please.”

Iconic London landmark lit up by Newcastle stars in incredible projection show ahead of Carabao Cup final

NEWCASTLE have already taken over London ahead of the Carabao Cup final.

Tens of thousands of Geordies will descend on the capital on Saturday for a boozy weekend as they look to end their 70-year trophy drought against Liverpool.

On Thursday night, an incredible projection display put on by Toon’s front-of-shirt sponsors Sela painted the town black and white – and kickstarted the weekend.

The breathtaking show saw one of London’s major landmarks lit up with the club’s stars.

Alexander Isak, Bruno Guimaraes and Co were beamed onto the 390ft Millbank Tower, which sits on the banks of the River Thames near Big Ben.

Highlights from this season’s Carabao Cup run, as well as animations of fans travelling from the Tyne Bridge to Wembley, set the tone for the weekend.

In 2023, Sela put on a stunning drone spectacle to celebrate Newcastle‘s Champions League return before the home clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Saudi-based sponsors are donating a scarf to every Newcastle fan at the match, with both sides boasting just shy of 32,000 supporters.

London pub The Dolphin – which regularly hosts Newcastle fans – has also been renamed in honour of Eddie Howe’s assistant Jason Tindall.

Eddie Howe has called on his players to be “inspired” by the chance to win their first major trophy since their FA Cup triumph in 1955.

He said: “I think it’s a real motivation for us to try and break that long time and that long wait that everyone’s feeling.

JOIN SUN VEGAS: GET £50 BONUS

“It should be inspiring for us – not a negative. I understand it will be a negative or a perceived negative for a lot of people, but we’re trying to look at it the other way round.

“It’s a chance to make history for us as a team – that’s very rare in football. You get very few opportunities to do that, a chance to be remembered positively.

“I want the players to look at it that way, as I said earlier, to attack the game and to get a good representation of us.”

Howe also knows what to expect from the travelling Toon Army just two years after fans took over London for the Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester United.

He added: “I’m sure they will be [the 12th man] for us. I think they always are, they were at West Ham.

“We know from the last time we got to the final, the scenes driving up to Wembley, the feeling of support and unity that we have.

“The expression the fans give in every game is huge for us and yeah, we’re going to need them, we’re absolutely going to need that 50% to turn into 55% if possible.

“We need every bit of help we can to push us over the line.”

I got 15 surgeries in 2 years after being trolled for my ‘motorway bum’ following MAFS – I bagged 2 £7k BBLs for a start

NIKITA Jasmine is certainly no stranger to going under the knife and claimed that in just two years, she was ‘gifted 15 surgeries’.

The 30-year-old reality TV star, who appeared on Channel 4’s Married At First Sight back in 2021, always felt insecure about her body.

Now, she has had two BBLs and a BBL top up[/caption]

Not only did she call herself a ‘a stick with a pot belly’ but she claimed that mean haters even trolled her for her ‘motorway bum’.

But now, the influencer, who has been described as Married At First Sight’s most controversial bride, has revealed all on her surgery journey to Truly, on an episode of Hooked On The Look.

Nikita explained: “I’ve had quite a lot of surgery. In 2018, I got my first boob job. I got my teeth done, I got liposuction and my first BBL.

“The following year I got a closed rhinoplasty, I got more liposuction and another BBL.

“I went back the year after, I got my boobs reduced, uplifted and I got a full round of full body lipo again.

“I just went back to Turkey and got an open rhinoplasty, buccal fat removal in my cheeks, liposuction in four areas and I got a BBL top up.”

A Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) involves the patient getting liposuction before the fat is then transferred into the bottom to create a fuller shape and in the UK, the procedure costs approximately £7,000.

Nikita got candid on her reasons behind going under the knife, as she expressed: “I wasn’t happy with my body shape at the time. I had a pot belly, no a** at all, literally flat as a pancake, and I had big breasts naturally but they were a little bit saggy.

“I used to get called motorway a**, everyone used to say ‘your a** is as flat as a motorway.

“I didn’t have any curves, I was a stick with a pot belly.”

Despite this, Nikita claimed: “Personally, I don’t think I’m addicted [to surgery], but some of my friends will say that I am.”

Nikita opened up on the response she received online, as she shared: “I get a lot of fans message us, on a day to day basis. They’ll tell us that I’m beautiful, that I’m stunning.

“As long as I look good and I feel good, that’s the main thing.

“I do get negative comments sometimes but if I get trolls that DM us, I simply block and delete or ignore.

“My close friends and family who know us well, obviously love and support us and know the real me, so that’s the only people’s opinions that I care about.

What are the risks of getting surgery abroad?

IT'S important to do your research if you're thinking about having cosmetic surgery abroad.

It can cost less than in the UK, but you need to weigh up potential savings against the potential risks.

Safety standards in different countries may not be as high.

No surgery is risk-free. Complications can happen after surgery in the UK or abroad.

If you have complications after an operation in the UK, the surgeon is responsible for providing follow-up treatment.

Overseas clinics may not provide follow-up treatment, or they may not provide it to the same standard as in the UK.

Also, they may not have a healthcare professional in the UK you can visit if you have any problems.

“People who might judge us on plastic surgery, I just want to say to them – focus on yourself. It’s not harming you or affecting you in any way, why would you care about somebody else getting a procedure?”

But Nikita previously opened up on her BBL procedures to Fabulous, as she recalled: “I can’t tell you the last time I wore jeans, because they can fit the waist, but can’t fit my bum properly.

But she doesn’t think she is ‘addicted’ to surgery[/caption]

“Or if I get a bigger waist, it ends up all baggy at the back. I rarely wear denim shorts because they don’t fit and I try to stay away from zips as much as I can. They can pop or they won’t go up all the way.

“If I wear something that’s got an elasticated band or material that stretches, I know I won’t have a hard time.

“It’s sad if you want to change your style by wearing something new and fashionable that’s just out — it might not fit.”

Nikita, who worked in sales before finding fame on MAFS, claimed the BBL procedures were the most excruciating of all.

I got the fat removed from my stomach, back and love handles, then I got it put in my bum

She added: “It was the worst pain I’ve ever had. They put a rod into your stomach and chop the fat up, like keyhole incisions.

“You’re supposed to put weight on beforehand, as much as you can, because the more weight you have the more can go into your bum.

“I got the fat removed from my stomach, back and love handles, then I got it put in my bum.

“Then the year after, I got full body lipo, so I got it done in my chin, arms, bingo wings, stomach and my back, and I had that put into my bum. Obviously, your bum’s really sore then you can’t lie on it for six to eight weeks because it can crush the fat cells.

“You get given a BBL cushion that you put underneath your thighs, so basically your bum’s hanging off the seat.

“I worked in an office so I had to use the cushion for eight hours a day.

“To go to bed was a nightmare because I got multiple procedures done at the same time — I was a bit of a nutter.”
