A map of a big storm has many viewers laughing instead of concerned after spotting a phallic-shaped patch in the system.
The forecast map for Saturday from WDAM showed a massive storm hovering over the southern US with a hot pink area in the middle, over Mississippi, shaped like a penis.
It rapidly went viral on X (formerly Twitter), with one user remarking: ‘Looks like this storm is going to aggressively penetrate the Deep South. Stay alert.’
‘They’re going to get a VERY HARD rain,’ a user wrote.
Another commented: ‘That’s an erect storm alright, looks like Mobile is getting slapped.’
The user who shared the image on social media added, ‘Wow you all have dirty minds I am appalled.’
Some people took the map more seriously. One X user recommended following a specific weather man ahead of the storm.
‘He might just save your life this weekend, because every extra second counts, especially in a massive storm like this,’ the user stated. ‘God bless everyone.’
Others appeared only semi-worried.
‘At least it will be wet,’ wrote a user. ‘Seriously though..be safe. This looks like it will be interesting.’
The storm system is predicted to drop powerful thunderstorms and multiple tornadoes on the Southeast and Midwest starting on Friday.

‘Today may end up as one of the more prolific severe weather outbreaks in recent memory,’ stated the National Weather Service’s office in St Louis, Missouri, on Friday.
It is not the first time that a penis-shaped image has set off jokes on weather or the Internet.
In 2016, a weatherman who noticed a giant phallic shape in the sky broke out laughing while pointing it out during a live broadcast.
And in 2015, a female runner using Nike+ drew a picture of a penis and posted it on Tumblr.
