The CAF Champions League quarterfinals are upon us, and the matches will be played immediately after the FIFA break.
Here are the details around fixtures involving both Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates in the competition…
CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DETAILS FOR SUNDOWNS AND PIRATES
According to CAF, Sundowns will be at home for their first leg encounter against Esperance de Tunis.
The first leg is scheduled for Tuesday, 1 April at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Tshwane. Kick-off is at 15:00.
The return leg will be played on Tuesday, 8 April at Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi. Kick-off is scheduled for 21:00 SA time.
This will be a repeat of last season’s semi-final tie where Esperance de Tunis, coached by Miguel Cardoso, edged out Sundowns.
Esperance beat Sundowns 1-0 in Tunis in the first leg before the two sides played to a 0-0 draw in Tshwane.
Now, Cardoso will be sitting in the opposite bench for this tie, and his mandate is clear, to lift the CAF Champions League trophy.

Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates, in the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League for the first time since 2013, will face MC Alger.
The first of the two-legged tie will be played at Stade 5 Juillet 1962 on Tuesday 1 April. Kick-off is at 21:00 SA time.
Pirates will then host MC Alger at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday, 8 April. Kick-off is scheduled for 18:00.
For the first time in a years, South Africa will be represented by two clubs in the knockout stages of this competition.
