‘Are they 13?’ people giggle as woman shows off the cheeky couple tattoos she did on HERSELF and her boyfriend

A WOMAN has left people stunned after showing off the explicit tattoos she did on both herself and her boyfriend.

The tattoo fan took to her social media pages to share a look at the new etchings she had inked on her and her boyfriend’s hands.

They had the words ‘Love, Hate, F**k’ scrawled messily on the side of their palms[/caption]

The first picture showed her initials on the inside of his hand, alongside the numbers “69” and “666”, with “xoxo” written underneath.

She had the same on hers, except with his initials, the numbers swapped around and a little heart underneath instead.

She also chose to tattoo a little heart and the “xoxo” on her ring finger – suggesting the pair are set to get married in the near future.

The final inking was “Love, Hate and F**k”, which had been written messily on the side of their palms.

“Initials I did on us and ring tattoo on myself,” she wrote alongside the snaps.

“When we say forever and always, we meant it!”

The snaps were then shared on Reddit’s S***ty Tattoos thread, with people quick to slam the couple.

“F**k tattooed on your hand? Are they 13? Good God!” one person wrote.

“In fact they probably are,” another laughed.

“Omg, this is so cringy it actually hurts!” a third admitted.

“I feel so bad for their future selves,” someone else said.

“I almost feel bad for posting because of how much regret they’ll feel in the future,” the person who shared the snaps revealed.

“Little do they know they just set themselves up for a pricey laser removal down the road,” another wrote.

“I have a feeling this will be an arguably worse coverup rather than laser,” someone else predicted.

“If you have to loudly insist that it’ll be forever, it’s not going to be,” another commented.

“Honestly there really is someone for everyone,” someone else mused.

Tattoo Do's and Don'ts

    1. Think, think and think some more

Tattoos done on a whim are far more likely to lead to regret than a tattoo you thought long and hard about. Think about why you want what you’ve chosen. And if you still want it after a few months, then get it.

    2. Age restrictions apply

You must be 18 years old to be tattooed in the UK.

    3. Don’t haggle over the price

When you go to a tattoo shop the price is the price. You are paying for an artist’s time and skills, they charge what they believe those things are worth.

    4. Don’t get tattooed while you’re hungry

Eat before you go for your tattoo session and make sure you’re hydrated. You’re about to be subjected to a period of sustained physical discomfort, if you’re feeling a little weak from hunger or you’re dehydrated things will not go as smoothly as they should.

    5. Don’t drink alcohol before you get tattooed

If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs, don’t go for a tattoo. In fact, if your tattooist has anything at all about them they will turn you away if you are clearly under the influence of any intoxicating substances.  I’d also avoid drinking the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make your bleed more.

“But anyone dumb enough to do this? Yeahh I don’t see this lasting forever.”

“Next they will be blacked out cause it never last forever and always when you have to get it tattooed to try to prove something,” another agreed.

    “Just saying!”

But others were more concerned by something else in the pictures – namely the woman’s incredibly long thumbnail.

“The thumbnail in the first picture just makes me uncomfortable,” one wrote.

“That nail is the most disturbing,” another said.

“No one is going to talk about their nails in the first picture? WTF?” a third remarked.

“The thumbnail! I’m gonna be sick!” someone else said.

“Thumbnail looks like the witch that ate Hansel and Gretel,” another wrote.

Budget airline launches new cheap flights to one of the UK’s top winter sun destinations

NEW flights to Thailand are being launched by a low-cost airline this year from the UK.

Norse Airways has confirmed plans to start a new route from London Gatwick to Bangkok in Thailand.

The new route is the first Asian destination for the airline[/caption]

The budget carrier launched in 2022, replacing WOW Air which went bust in 2019.

Offering cheap long-haul flights from the UK, the new route will start from October 26 with four services a week.

One-way fares start from £295pp although we found some for as little as £203pp when travelling in March 2026.

This is much cheaper than the current cheapest fares starting from £438 with Thai Airways.

Other airlines with direct UK to Bangkok flights include Singapore Air, Emirates and British Airways, with return fares around £700 (compared to Norse’s £527 return).

Of course passengers will have to pay for all the extras on top, as the cheapest fare doesn’t include luggage or meals.

Or splash out on premium for extra perks including much comfier seats, checked luggage, two meals and extra legroom for £585 one-way (or £851 return).

The airline’s founder Bjørn Tore Larsen said they were “thrilled” to launch their first Asian destination.

They added: “We’re excited to launch direct flights between London Gatwick and Bangkok, a top choice among our travelers.

“This addition not only strengthens our existing network between Asia but also builds on our routes from London Gatwick to destinations across the Atlantic and South Africa.

“For us it’s all about offering more travel options at great prices without compromising on comfort and service for those looking to enjoy a beautiful and warm winter sunshine destination.”

Passengers will fly on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with either economy or premium economy options.

Thailand was named a top travel destination this year by Travel + Leisure, with both British Airways and TUI also launching new flights in response.

It also recently featured in the new White Lotus series.

And Norse Atlantic already have an number of other low-cost, long-haul routes in the UK including to New York.

New last year was a London Gatwick to Las Vegas flight, with one-way fares as little as £163.

And a new London Gatwick to Cape Town route launched last year as well, starting from £499.

However, the airline has also confirmed they would be scrapping a UK route this summer as well.

What is it like going to Bangkok?

The Sun’s Assistant Travel Editor recently visited Bangkok.

The street-food stalls in Chinatown offer plenty of dishes for less than the equivalent of £1 in local currency Thai baht.

While in Chinatown, also enjoy a night out in the nearby Soi Nana district where many once traditional shops have been transformed into fashionable bars.

But one thing worth spending a bit more money on in Bangkok is a cocktail at the Lebua Hotel’s Sky Bar, which many will recognise as a filming location from 2011 buddy comedy film The Hangover 2.

A cocktail, including the Hangovertini, a whisky treat made with rosemary, honey and apple, will set you back £30 or so.

But you can order just one and stay for the skyline views that are Bangkok’s best.

I also scored a couple of nights at the Shangri-La Bangkok hotel as part of a British Airways Holiday package.

Rooms cost around £450 less per night than at the sister hotel in London but are just as opulent.

The London Gatwick to Miami route will no longer operate from October 26.

Brits will still be able to fly with both Virgin Atlantic and British Airways who have flights to Miami from London Heathrow.

Zelensky hails Ukrainians for their ‘bravery & sacrifice’ 3 years since Putin launched war after vow to resign for peace

PRESIDENT Volodymyr Zelensky has hailed Ukrainians for their “bravery and sacrifice” to mark three years since Vladimir Putin invaded.

The valiant leader shared a patriotic clip of brave soldiers fighting the invading Russians and civilians pulling together to save their country.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has hailed ‘bravery and sacrifice’ of the Ukrainian people[/caption]

Zelensky said: “Three years of resistance. Three years of gratitude. Three years of absolute heroism of Ukrainians. I am proud of Ukraine!

“I thank everyone who defends and supports it. Everyone who works for Ukraine.

“And may the memory of all those who gave their lives for our state and people be eternal.”

The clip begins with shocking footage from the start of the conflict of Russian helicopters flying into Ukraine.

But it quickly shifts to Ukrainians tanks blasting the Russian column that tried to storm Kyiv.

Brave Zelensky also hails the strength of Ukrainian civilians who have pulled together to support the war effort and continue their lives as Russia tries to destroy their country.

Zelensky’s touching clip comes after he said he would step down as his country’s leader in exchange for peace or Nato membership.

The Ukrainian president said on Sunday: “If it’s about peace in Ukraine and you really want me to leave my position, I am ready to do that [in exchange for peace].

“Secondly I can exchange it for Nato [membership].

“If there is such an opportunity I’ll do it immediately without a long conversation about it.”

He emphasised that Ukraine’s security was his priority, not staying in office, adding that it was not his “dream” to remain president for a decade.

Littler beat rival Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in the Ally Pally final.

And now the Nuke has changed his Facebook profile to reflect his victory.

Littler appeared to be frustrated by the fact Price was slowing down the rhythm of the game.

After the match, Price said: “I want to be a tough nut to crack for every player.

“That’s what I used to be. Maybe two or three years ago I was but since then, I’ve slipped off the radar.

“I’m coming back. I probably wouldn’t have won that game without the crowd. They were fantastic for me.

“It was like Cardiff all over. I think they feel sorry for us Welsh rugby players.

“My game is in a great place. My mind is in a good place.”

“There will be a few showers bubbling up especially across the southern parts of England into London and East Anglia.

There will be lighter winds compared to Sunday, and highs of up to 14C in the south east.

Further showers are to be expected through the night, particularly in the south east.

Temperatures are also set to drop as bitter north westerly winds move in across the UK.

Brits can expect to wake up to a touch of frost on Tuesday morning.

I’m a gardener, mowing your lawn too early will wreak havoc & cause long term damage – here’s the exact date to start

IT MAY be tempting to get back into gardening ahead of spring, but according to experts there’s one job that you should be avoiding before March.

While your lawn might not be at its best during winter months, Chris Ware local gardening expert at Climbing Wild Gardeners, advises against reaching for the lawnmower just yet.

Lawn mower cutting grass covered in autumn leaves.
Avoid mowing your lawn until the spring according to our gardening expert
    Getty

“Mowing your lawn when the grass is damp or wet can cause long-term damage to both your lawn and your equipment,” he explains.

“Wet grass doesn’t cut cleanly; it tears, leaving the edges jagged. This makes the lawn more susceptible to diseases and pests.”

Ware also warns that the clippings from wet grass tend to clump together, smothering the healthy grass underneath.

“What you’re left with is a patchy, uneven finish that can take months to recover,” he says.

It’s not just the grass that suffers—your mower does too. “Cutting wet grass puts unnecessary strain on your lawnmower, dulling the blades faster and overworking the motor.

“Waiting until the grass is dry helps maintain both the lawn’s health and your gardening equipment.”

While mowing is off the table, Ware suggests other ways to care for your lawn during the winter months.

“Aerating your lawn is a simple yet effective way to keep it healthy,” he says. “It improves drainage, reduces compaction, and ensures the grass gets the air it needs to recover and grow stronger come spring.”

Preparing your lawnmower now will also set you up for success. “Winter is the perfect time to check the blades and ensure everything is in working order,” Ware advises.

“A sharp blade will make clean cuts, helping the lawn heal faster and reducing the risk of diseases.”

By avoiding winter mowing and focusing on essential maintenance, Ware says you’ll give your lawn the best chance to thrive.

“Patience and a little preparation go a long way in ensuring a lush, green garden once the warmer weather returns.”

Gardening mistakes that could get you fined

Gardening experts over at Toolstation have revealed the garden laws you need to be aware of not breaking.

While some of these laws could land you with a fine of up to £20,000 in extreme cases, a friendly chat with your neighbours can usually resolve any issues.

Tree removal and pruning: If you have a tree in your garden you want to get rid of you better think twice and do your research.

The gardening experts reveal: “If one neighbour wishes to remove or heavily prune a tree that the other neighbour values, disputes can arise over the impact on the view, shade, or privacy. “

While it might cause a row, if it is in your property boundary it is ultimately your choice, unless it has a Tree Protection Order on it.

“But, some trees may be protected by a Tree Protection Order which makes it an offence to uproot, top or destroy them, the experts warn.

The maximum fine for breaking this law is £20,000, so make sure you double check if it does have a TPO.

You can find out by contacting your local council for a map that shows this information. Alternatively, you can ask to speak with your local tree officer.

Property boundaries and fences: One of the main causes of neighbours falling out is through arguing over property boundaries and fencing.

To avoid this situation, the gardening pros recommend checking the deeds of your property to determine the correct boundaries

“Most of the time, it’s easy to determine who owns the fence as the fence posts will usually be on the owners side,” they add.

“Additionally, the height of fences or hedges can cause disputes between neighbours if one party feels the height has exceeded the two metre guidance.

“Hedges and fences should be no more than two metres high, and you could be asked by the council to take them down if a neighbour complains about the height.

“Luckily, standard fence sizes are less than two metres tall so you shouldn’t have a problem.”

Garden structures and additions: A pergola is the perfect addition to a garden if you want somewhere to relax in the shade.

But if it obstructs your neighbour’s view or violates local building regulations it could cause a dispute, as can sheds and other garden structures.

“If you’re not sure, have a chat with your neighbours to let them know what you’re planning and, if there’s an issue, get in touch with your local council who can give you more guidance,” advise the gardening experts.

Overhanging branches and plants: “When branches, vines, or roots from one neighbour’s tree or plant extend into the neighbouring property, it can lead to disagreements over potential damage to structures, blocked views, or the burden of maintenance,” reveal the pros.

However, it’s important to note you can only trim overhanging branches up to the boundary of your property otherwise, it could be seen as trespassing.
