Lewis Hamilton handed luxury watch worth £375k at Ferrari – more than 30 times value of what ex-Mercedes team-mate gets

LEWIS HAMILTON has been handed a new luxury watch at Ferrari worth a whopping £375,000 – 30 times more than the timepiece of former Mercedes teammate George Russell.

Hamilton stepped out with Formula One pals at the O2 Arena for the launch of their 2025 liveries.

The seven-time world champion dazzles fans as he wore the famous red of Ferrari for the first time.

But there was an even bigger sight to behold on Hamilton’s wrist.

While talking on the microphone, a large glittering watch was clearly visible.

And it turned out to be an amazing timepiece from watchmaker Richard Mille.

Experts identified it was none other than an RM 74-02 Automatic Winding Tourbillon.

It’s worth a mind-boggling £375,000.

And the watch was way more expensive than the one adorned by ex-Mercedes mate Russell.

The fellow Brit showed off a Big Pilots Top Gun Edition Mojave Desert as he soaked up the atmosphere in London.

His watch is worth a tasty £10,000.

But that’s still a long way off Hamilton’s exotic number.

Speaking at the event, the F1 legend revealed he could not wait to drive his first race for Ferrari.

And Hamilton admitted his new car was miles ahead of what he had to recently drive at Mercedes.

Hamilton said: “It’s nothing like the car that I had before, or the last 10, 12, 17 years.

“It’s unique in its own. And to feel the vibration of the Ferrari engine for the first time, wow!

“That’s what I think ultimately put the biggest smile on my face.”

Strictly’s Tasha Ghouri finally breaks silence on Andrew split and reveals truth about custody of their dog

TASHA Ghouri has spoken out for the first time about her split from Love Island boyfriend Andrew Le Page.

The Strictly star hit back at trolls who accused her of taking their shared dog, Luna, away from him.

Tasha, 26, took to Instagram to address the backlash, revealing that Andrew, who has returned to his parents’ home in Guernsey, had made the decision to leave Luna with her in the UK as he wasn’t able to take the pup with him.

Tasha wrote on Instagram: “Since there’s so many horrible messages I’ve got about taking Luna off Andrew—first off, she is our dog who we got together.

“He is in Guernsey & decided to leave Luna here with me as he couldn’t take her, it wasn’t ideal.

“When he’s found a place back in the UK, we will be working out a way for both of us to see her.”

She also urged people to stop sending hateful messages to both her and Andrew, adding, “Break-ups happen in life, just because ours is in the public eye doesn’t make it any different.

“Spread kindness, also to Andrew because he’s also been getting messages.”

Tasha made it clear she won’t be commenting further on their relationship or Luna.

She said: “Thank you. I won’t be answering anymore on our relationship and Luna.”

Tasha revealed she was being trolled days after Andrew spoke about missing Luna on Snapchat.

Tearful Andrew told his fans “I miss her so much” after moving out of the former couple’s home.

And he’s finding the days spent without the pooch around particularly tough.

He said: “I’ve started this Snapchat about five times and keep choking up.

“She doesn’t even know it’s her birthday, but I miss her so much and hope to be with her again soon.

“Anyway, I’m going to stop talking about her otherwise I’ll keep choking up.”

He then turned his attention to his other dog, Willow, who he is doing his best to train.

Andrew also shared a short and sweet tribute to Luna on Instagram.

Beside a selfie of him smiling next to her, he wrote: “2 years old. Love you so much, more than you’ll ever know! Can’t wait to be with you again soon.”

Over the weekend, Andrew posted an emotional goodbye as he moved out of his shared house with Tasha.

The Sun revealed last month that the reality stars had called time on their relationship after three years.

It comes after reports Tasha had grown close to a Strictly co-star.

Trump’s buddy Elon Musk joins brutal attack on Zelensky branding him ‘despised dictator’ as he waves chainsaw on stage

ELON Musk has lashed out at Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky by labelling him as a “despised dictator” in a fiery social media ramt.

Musk and his close ally Donald Trump have been been waging a war of words with their Ukrainian counterparts in recent days following accusations of Zelensky being an “illegitimate” leader.

Musk has attacked Zelensky on X after pal Trump also blasted the heroic leader[/caption]

The Tesla boss took to X to attack Ukraine’s brave president and challenged him to hold a presidential election to prove his popularity.

Musk said: “If Zelensky was actually loved by the people of Ukraine, he would hold an election.

“He knows he would lose in a landslide.”

It comes after Vladimir Putin has spent the last few weeks blasting Zelesnky as an illegitimate president.

The comedian turned politician was voted into office in 2019 with his official term ending in 2024.

Due to Vlad’s illegal invasion, however, Ukraine has been unable to hold elections due to martial law being in place.

Musk didn’t hold back with his Ukrainian assault as he continued to post about Zelensky to his 218 million X followers.

He continued: “In reality, he is despised by the people of Ukraine, which is why he has refused to hold an election.

“I challenge Zelensky to hold an election and refute this. He will not.

“President Trump is right to ignore him and solve for peace independent of the disgusting, massive graft machine feeding off the dead bodies of Ukrainian soldiers.”

Putin, Musk and even Trump have all jumped at the chance to question Zelensky’s reign in recent days.

President Trump himself even openly admitted to being “very frustrated” with Zelensky – saying he had a “personal” problem with him.

The scathing comments come just days after US and Russian officials met in Saudi Arabia to begin crucial peace talks – notably leaving out Ukraine.

Fears have grown ever since US president Donald Trump bypassed Ukraine and continental leaders to do business directly with the Kremlin.

Washington has largely dominated the talks so far with Trump holding a phone call with both Putin and Zelensky to hear their key requirements and bring about a resolution.

The Republican has urged both Kyiv and Moscow to achieve peace quickly but in doing so has raised fears over what a deal could mean for Ukraine in the future.

Who could Liverpool face in the Champions League Last 16 draw?

AHEAD of today’s draw, Liverpool have a better understanding of who they will play in the Champions League last-16.

The top eight clubs advanced directly to the round of 16 under the new league phase format, avoiding a two-leg elimination play-off match.

To guarantee the eight unseeded teams in the round of 16, the teams ranked ninth through twenty-four were forced into a play-off stage.

Despite losing their last match to PSV Eindhoven, Arne Slot’s team easily advanced through the league stage to take the top spot.

Liverpool are not the competitions top scorers or the best defensive side, yet their sheer consistency and versatility has made them the tournament’s favourites according to various sources.

Who could Liverpool face in the Champions League Last 16 draw?

Following their league-stage position, Liverpool were allocated to play either the 17th and 18th seed or the winner of the play-off matches between the 15th and 16th seeds.

They had four potential opponents going into the playoffs: Paris Saint-Germain, Brest, Benfica, or Monaco. You would think that would guarantee a very smooth trip to the quarterfinals.

After a thrilling 3-3 draw in Portugal on Tuesday, Benfica advanced past Monaco 4-3 overall, and PSG crushed French compatriots Brest 7-0 in the second leg after winning the first leg 3-0.

PSG or Benfica will be Liverpool’s confirmed opponent in the last-16 draw on Friday, February 21.

Either March 4 or March 5 will see the first leg of those ties, with the follow-up matches taking place a week later.

Anfield will host the second match, while Liverpool will travel as seeds for the first leg.

Arron Lindop copies near neighbour with 180 as Warrington honours Luke Littler

Warrington lad and near neighbour Arron Lindop hopes to have Littler cheering after showing his own skill on the oche.

TURNS out Luke Littler is not the only 18-year-old from Warrington who can hit a 180.

The world darts champion will see his home town’s stadium named after him as the Wolves honour his achievement.

But near neighbour Arron Lindop hopes to have the season ticket holder roaring them on to glory by doing the business on a rugby pitch.

He can also find the maximum from the oche too.

“Luke’s probably inspired me a bit,” said local lad Lindop, who grabbed his side’s opening try of the season for the second year running in the win at Huddersfield.

“I’ve been playing a bit. I’ve a dartboard at home and, genuinely, I hit my first 180 the other day.

“I was at my girlfriend’s house, so there were witnesses. Don’t go saying I’m a good darts player, though, it was all luck.

“Ben Currie’s definitely the best at the club – he’s the man. I’ve had a 180 though and no-one can take that from me.

“I’m from the other side of Warrington to Luke but now he lives two minutes away from me in Appleton – we’re virtually neighbours. At least, that‘s what I tell the lads here!

“Luke would’ve been the school year below me at Padgate Academy. I went to Bridgewater High School.

“But what he’s done has had a real effect on the town of Warrington. What he’s done at his age is incredible.

“Sometimes I look at him and what he’s accomplished and I think, ‘How does he handle that upon himself?’ But he does it so well.

“He’s a humble lad in interviews, handles it well and performs on the highest stage – he’s obviously strong mentally.

“Maybe there’s something in the water in Warrington. Everyone’s competitive here. Obviously, it’s a rugby league town, so everyone’s got to be.

“I support him all the way.”

Littler will tonight lead out his favourite side ahead of facing Catalans Dragons as Warrington gets to celebrate one of its own.

And Sam Burgess’ men are aiming to have him smiling by beating the French side and making it two wins from two.

Centre Lindop added: “We saw the other results over the opening weekend and there were a few shocks, so getting the two points at Huddersfield was all that mattered.

“Now tonight promises to be a big occasion and hopefully with what we’re doing with the stadium, we can get a lot of fans down.”

UK weather: Met Office warns 70mph gales & ‘heavy pulses’ of rain to spark travel chaos TODAY as string of alerts hit

COMMUTERS are facing major disruption with heavy rain and winds of up to 70mph today and more to come during the weekend.

Yellow weather warnings are in force from Friday morning across Northern Ireland, Wales and parts of Scotland.

The Met Office has also issued three wind alerts and two rain warnings covering large parts of the UK on Sunday.

In a post on X, the weather agency shared an interactive map showing the spread of rain.

It added: “Wet and windy to kick off Friday.

“Heavy pulses of rain will be accompanied by gales around coasts and hills.”

There is some good news with warmer weather on the way and temperatures could peak at 16C, the Met Office said.

A warning for rain has been issued from 6am until 6pm for south-west and north-east Scotland on Friday, with forecasters predicting travel disruption, power cuts, and flooding.

Another warning for strong winds runs from 8am until 3pm for south-west Scotland and West Wales on Friday, while a yellow wind warning will be in place in the east of Northern Ireland from 6am to 1pm.

Despite predicting a mild start to Friday, the Met Office warned of heavy pulses of rain accompanied by gales around coastal areas and hills.

In Scotland, ferry services from Dumfries and Galloway have been cancelled amid warnings of stormy weather.

Police Scotland said ferry sailings on Friday between Cairnryan and Northern Ireland have been cancelled as a result.

A spokesperson said: “Those booked on to any of the affected sailings are advised not to travel to the area due to the impending weather warning and delays are expected.

Calmac Ferries on Scotland’s west coast said all of its routes were either cancelled or facing disruption on Friday.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet said its sailings between the island and Heysham on Friday had been cancelled or were at risk and it was monitoring conditions throughout the weekend.

Met Office deputy chief meteorologist Mike Silverstone said: “On Friday, south and west Wales, south-west Scotland and eastern parts of Northern Ireland will see the strongest winds, possibly around 70mph on exposed coasts and around 60mph more widely within the warning areas.

“Rain is an additional hazard, with 30-40mm likely in parts of Scotland over a six-hour period, and up to around 70mm possible over higher ground within the warning areas.”

Saturday is expected to be a drier day across the country, but the South East may see the remnants of Friday’s rain drifting through during the day.

More rain and wind is expected from Sunday, according to the Met Office.

A yellow warning for wind is in place for Scotland, Wales and the north and west of England from 6am to 6pm on Sunday, with another running from 3am to 3pm in Northern Ireland.

Similar warnings for rain, which could lead to localised flooding and travel disruption are in place for south-west Scotland, much of South Wales and across Devon and parts of Cornwall from Sunday morning.

Mr Silverstone said: “The underlying factor in the shift in the UK’s weather is our transition from a cold easterly regime to more of a westerly regime.

“While this pushes away the colder air that has been affecting us, it also reintroduces Atlantic weather systems and the potential for areas of low pressure to influence the UK’s weather.”

5-day weather forecast

Today:

Rain, heavy at times, clearing eastwards, and replaced by sunny spells and scattered showers. Windy with coastal gales, especially in the northwest with a risk of severe gales. Milder than of late, although tempered somewhat by the windy conditions.

Tonight:

Saturday:

A bright start for many with sunny spells and showers, mainly in the north and west. Cloudier in the southeast to start with rain slowly clearing eastwards.
