Just this week alone, its daytime schedule has been severely disruption for live coverage of the Cheltenham Festival.

Loose Women, Lingo and Ben Shephard’s Tipping Point have all been pulled off air for the event.

And now ITV has confirmed later this month the soaps will be pulled off air.

On Monday, March 24 the channel will dedicate the schedule for the UEFA Nations League.

England will take on Latvia at Wembley Arena in London.

As a result schedule programming between 7pm to 10pm will be ditched.

It means Monday night’s Coronation Street and Emmerdale will not be broadcast.

Emmerdale will return as normal on Tuesday, though it’s not clear when Monday’s Corrie will air.

Meanwhile, ITV’s brand new drama Protection – which launches this Monday – has also been disrupted.

The thriller’s second episode starring Siobhan Finneran will air on Tuesday, March 25 as a result of the football.

Newcastle star Sean Longstaff ‘wanted by Premier League rivals in shock transfer with Toon tempted by 100% profit’

EVERTON are looking into a shock move for Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff, reports claim.

The Magpies know selling their hometown hero would represent 100 per cent profit under PSR rules as he came through their academy.

Longstaff has struggled for game time this season[/caption]

Everton are ready to move for Longstaff this summer, according to talkSPORT.

Goodison boss David Moyes is a fan of the 27-year-old and considered him while at West Ham.

Longstaff is understood to be open to the idea of leaving St James’ Park after 19 years with the club.

The North Shields-born star joined Newcastle’s youth set up at the age of nine in 2006 and was promoted to the first-team in 2016.

Newcastle were concerned with complying with FFP last season, so could be open to the idea of selling an academy star for “pure profit”.

“Pure profit” allows clubs to bank all transfers made, incentivising the sale of academy products who were signed for nothing.

And with Longstaff’s contract expiring in June 2026, a money-making sale might be the logical thing to do.

So a move away will see Longstaff play for another club for the first time in his career.

Cheltenham Festival betting offers and free bets

Longstaff has struggled for game time after falling behind in the midfield pecking order this season.

He has started just eight of Newcastle‘s 28 Prem games this term and been subbed in 13 times.

Longstaff is now competing with Brazilian internationals Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton, Italian ace Sandro Tonali, Joe Willock and Lewis Miley for a spot in midfield.

He has scored 16 goals and provided 11 assists in 210 games for the Magpies.

His brother Matty left Newcastle for a permanent move to Toronto as a free agent in January 2024.

Matty – who also operates as a midfielder – was loaned out to Aberdeen, Mansfield Town and Colchester United before his move across the pond.

But first-things-first, Longstaff will be looking to win Newcastle’s first club trophy in 70 YEARS on Sunday.

The Toon army head to Wembley to face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.

Tense moment Ange Postecoglou snaps at journalist over question ahead of Tottenham’s Europa League clash vs AZ Alkmaar

ANGE POSTECOGLOU snapped at a journalist’s question ahead of Tottenham’s crunch Europa League clash against AZ Alkmaar.

Spurs face a pivotal moment in their season as they look to keep their final hope of silverware alive.

Ange Postecoglou snapped at a journalist’s question about Spurs’ Europa League chances[/caption]

The Londoners are 13th in the Premier League table and have also been dumped out of both the Carabao and FA Cups.

But Tottenham face an uphill battle in Thursday’s last-16 clash after losing the first leg 1-0.

Spurs also failed to give themselves a real confidence boost at the weekend as they drew 2-2 at home with Bournemouth.

And some feel that Postecoglou’s long-term future could rest on tomorrow night’s result.

The point was put across to the Australian by a reporter during Wednesday’s press conference.

But Postecoglou was not happy with the question and snapped back with a fiery response of his own.

The reporter initially asked: “This game is being billed as ‘win or bust’, both for Tottenham’s season but in some people’s opinion, also for you and your project here.

“How do you feel about it and how important is it?”

Cheltenham Festival betting offers and free bets

Postecoglou replied: “Yeah… there aren’t many professions in the world where you have to come in and answer questions like that, is there?

“There isn’t, is there? Yeah. But I’m going to be polite and just say we’re focused on winning the game tomorrow night.

“We certainly feel if we play with the intensity and tempo we played on the weekend, we’ll give ourselves a good chance to progress.”

It’s not the first time Big Ange has lost his patience with a journalist.

In December he refused to answer questions after Spurs shipped six goals to Liverpool.

A month later Postecoglou sarcastically declared “great way to start an interview” after losing 3-2 to Everton.

And in February he covered his face with his hands while taking questions Tottenham’s FA Cup exit to Aston Villa.

One shopper also pointed out an extra bargain find, revealing: “They do strawberry lights as well for £4.99—I bought some yesterday.”

With prices starting at just £2.99, Home Bargains fans are already rushing to stores to snap up the spring garden essential before they sell out.

Many of the garden lights are available both online and in-stores.

You can find your local Home Bargains store using the store locator tool.

Of course, always remember to shop around before buying anything like this, as you might find the item cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Price Spy let you compare prices on thousands of products to find out where it will cost you the least.

You can also have a quick scan on the Google Shopping/Product tab to see how much retailers are selling a particular item for.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

It comes after the bargain store caused a social media storm with its popular colourful garden accessory.

Fans went so wild for the light that it sold out online within hours.

The 99p Home Bargains buy celebs love

The Spring sun may have arrived, but the cold winter chill is still lurking in the air.

Luckily, there’s a Home Bargains buy that people say works wonders for a cold – and it’s so popular even celebs are buying it.

TOWIE star Bobby Norris is the latest famous face to rave about the 99p product – Nuage’s vapour bath salts.

“Now when I tell you these sell out quick, this is what we’re at,” he said in a video on his TikTok page, turning the camera to show that there were only a few left on the shelf.

“It’s like locusts have been!”

He urged people to “run like a thief in the night” to their local Home Bargains, calling the product a “game changer”.

How to save money at Home Bargains

You’ll want to first start by looking in the right place in your local Home Bargains store.

Tom Church, retail expert from deals website latestdeals.co.uk, previously told The Sun the best offers are usually by the front door in a bid to lure you in.

Next, it’s worth keeping an eye out for Mrs Hinch products which are extremely popular and often reduced in price, he said.

Shop at the right time too, which according to one current worker is first thing in the morning, when stock is fresh and you’re likely to get the best pick of products.

Best shops for garden bargains

WHILST garden centres offer a huge selection of garden bargains, if you're on a budget, here's where you need to head...

B&M: Shoppers have raved about the huge selection of cheap buys from B&M that will add style to your garden this summer – from cheap artificial rose garlands to bargain string lights.

Home Bargains: You can also stock up on bargain buys from Home Bargains – there’s £1.29 buys that’ll brighten up your garden and cheap lights too.

Tesco: It’s also worth visiting supermarkets such as Tesco if you need to stock up on outdoor plants and stylish outdoor lighting.

Sainsbury’s: If you’re on a budget, Sainsbury’s are selling solar lights for only £1.50 – but you’ll need to be quick to nab them.

The biggest savings will sell out first[/caption]

The White Company latest deals

It’s unlikely that The White Company will restock any discounted lines during Black Friday, so if you have got your eye on something when the sale launches – make sure you grab it before it goes.

To make sure you don’t miss out, we’re on hand to help when the November sale arrives, and we’ll be bringing you all of the best Black Friday deals here in this guide.

When is Black Friday 2025?

Black Friday takes place on November 28, 2025.

The sales bonanza always follows Thanksgiving, which is the US holiday that falls on the fourth Thursday in November.

If you’re keen to nab a Black Friday deal, you don’t have to wait until the day itself.

Many retailers start discounting in the days and weeks leading up to the shopping event including The White Company.

Make sure you shop around and compare prices to get the best offers as you may be able to find the same products on sale for cheaper elsewhere.

Is The White Company taking part in Black Friday this year?

The White Company celebrates Black Friday with its annual “White Event“, and we hope this year is no different.

In 2024, shoppers enjoyed savings in-store and online, with discounts on luxury bedding, loungewear, and elegant home décor – including those coveted candles.

While many White Company customers look for alternatives to bestsellers throughout the year, Black Friday is a great chance to splash out on the real deal and save money at the same time.

What to expect from The White Company’s Black Friday sale 2025

As mentioned above, the brand typically hosts its ”White Event” – its version of the Black Friday sale – and this usually runs across the weekend.

In the past, everything has been slashed by 20% so shoppers can expect to pick up a bargain or two across the brand’s coveted candles, gifting collections, luxe bedding, and more.

The best deals will go fast and the biggest savings will sell out, so if you’ve got your eye on something then make sure you shop quickly rather than waiting until Cyber Monday to avoid disappointment.

Snapping up Christmas essentials is a popular move for many fans, as the retailer’s premium decorations and accessories often feature in the Black Friday discounts.

This will likely be your last chance to bag a deal before the festive season kicks off, so it’s ideal if you want to bring a little luxury into your home for Christmas.

What was in The White Company’s sale last year?

In 2024, we spotted 20% off stunning bed linen, homewares, kids’ clothing, and gifts.

The sale also extended to Christmas decorations, so shoppers were able to dress their trees and add festive touches to their décor.

Check out some of our favourite savings from the sale below.

The fun continues after Black Friday, with many retailers also offering deals over Cyber Monday, which lands on December 1, 2025.

The White Company has yet to announce any details, however, it has taken part before with savings running across Black Friday and into the Cyber Weekend.

Cyber Monday is traditionally the online-only part of the sales weekend, and sometimes retailers offer special deals just for this final event.

In previous years, The White Company ended its sale at midnight on Cyber Monday, and will likely do the same in 2025, so make sure you finish your shopping by then.

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more.

How much does The White Company‘s shipping cost?

The White Company offers free UK delivery on all orders over £50.

For orders under £50, delivery is priced at £3.50.

It’s worth noting that around busy shopping periods, shipping can take longer than normal, and next-day delivery may not always be available.

Delivery costs and timings will ultimately depend on your location, so we would recommend you check The White Company’s delivery information.

More Amazing Black Friday Deals

Does The White Company offer any other discounts?

The White Company offers various discounts beyond its Black Friday deals.

Throughout the year, customers can take advantage of seasonal sales, mid-season promotions, and clearance events that feature markdowns on select items.

Joining the mailing list may grant access to exclusive offers, early sale notifications, and occasional discount codes, so that’s definitely worth signing up for.

It’s also beneficial to follow the brand’s social media channels where flash sales and limited-time offers are announced.

Is The White Company cruelty-free and vegan?

The White Company is a cruelty-free brand.

Many of its products are vegan, with the exception of some that are labeled “vegetarian” – these items contain animal by-products, such as beeswax and honey.

‘I still believe’ – Tiger Woods’ former caddie breaks silence on legend’s horror Achilles injury with fears career over

TIGER WOODS’ former caddie is not convinced we’ve seen the last of the legendary golfer.

Fifteen-time major winner Tiger, 49, announced on Tuesday he had ruptured his Achilles tendon.

Fans fear Woods will retire after he tore his Achilles in training[/caption]

Woods underwent surgery after suffering the injury while training at his home in Florida.

In an emotional statement, Tiger wrote: “As I began to ramp up my own training and practice at home, I felt a sharp pain in my left Achilles, which was deemed to be ruptured.

“This morning, Dr. Charlton Stucken of Hospital for Special Surgery in West Palm Beach, Florida performed a minimally-invasive Achilles tendon repair for a ruptured tendon.

“I am back home now and plan to focus on my recovery and rehab, thank you for all the support.”

Fans were quick to speculate that Woods would pack away his clubs and retire from golf.

The 49-year-old has undergone several major surgeries after a horror car crash in 2021.

But Billy Foster, who caddied for Woods in 2005, is not convinced we’ve seen the last of Tiger.

He told Genting Casino: “Tiger can still win on the tour.

Cheltenham Festival betting offers and free bets

“But he needs to play eight to ten events a year.

“His leg is obviously very bad but if he can get any sort of strength in it, and can start playing just a handful of tournaments more than he has, he can still compete and I still believe he can win.”

Last September, Woods underwent his sixth back operation in the last 10 years.

He has previously torn the Achilles tendon in his right ankle as well as ruptured ligaments in his left knee.

Woods had been expected to make his return to the course at this year’s Masters.

A five-time winner at Augusta, Tiger will now be sidelined for an indefinite period.

Foster added: “He has the strongest mind that I’ve ever come across.

“Obviously, Jack [Nicklaus] had a similar mentality but Tiger’s been a different animal from any player I’ve seen over the 40 years of my caddying.

“He has the strongest mindset, is the most elite athlete, and is the best player that I’ve ever seen.

“To rule him out, you rule him out at your own peril, no matter if he’s got one leg or not.”

Mass grave and OVENS with charred bodies found at ‘extermination camp’ by family searching for missing person in Mexico

A NIGHTMARISH mass grave site has been uncovered during a family’s desperate search for a missing person in Mexico.

Three secret ovens with burned bodies inside were found at the horrifying scene, among disturbing piles of items left behind at the gruesome grounds including hundreds of pairs of abandoned shoes.

A private volunteer group looking for missing family members in Jalisco, Mexico, found the hidden ranch in Teuchitlán, which is in the western part of the state.

The nonprofit Guerreros Buscadores collective went to the remote area after a call from an unnamed informant on March 5.

“We found the place because we had received several anonymous calls,” Indira Navarro, a member of the search group, told AFP.

“We found charred remains, remains of charred human bodies in graves.”

Bones, bullet casings, and magazines were found at the grisly yard, which was reportedly a training center for organized crime.

The notorious Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel is believed to be behind the secret extermination camp, cops said.

The Mexican government announced on Tuesday that they would be investigating the yard as Attorney General Alejandro Gertz vowed to find answers.

“This is a very critical and serious issue,” Gertz said at a press conference.

“It is unbelievable that a situation of this nature would not have been known to the local authorities of that municipality and the state.”

While searching the site, cops found three cremation furnaces used by the CJNG.

Members of the National Guard also found a warehouse with piles of clothing items, backpacks, and suitcases.

Cops also found around 400 pairs of shoes left behind, according to the Latin Times.

Haunting footage from the property showed investigators searching through the dumped shoes.

The personal items are believed to have belonged to victims who were kidnapped and killed at the death camp, which is known as Izaguirre Ranch.

HAUNTING GRAVE SITE FINDS

One of the most disturbing findings at the ranch was a handwritten letter written by one of the victims.

“My love, if one day I never return, I only ask that you remember how much I love you and say, ‘My anger, tantrum, and jealousy are gone.'” the letter said.

Investigators also found a Bible with three pictures of children.

“These photos found at the Teuchitlán ranch may be a sign of hope for some family,” the collective said, according to the Daily Mail.

“Mom or dad was carrying them, and they were found nestled in the middle of a Bible.”

Searchers also found a notebook with a page featuring the nicknames of 54 victims.

Cops said the list was grouped by 10 people at a time.

Officials haven’t confirmed the names of the victims.

Jalisco is the Mexican state with the most missing people, according to the National Search Commission.

Nearly 15,000 remain missing in the state.

Mexico is a hot potato right now with cartels being labeled as terrorist organization affiliates. There’s a lot of uncertainty of how the Mexican cartels are going to react. We’ve seen an uptick in violence.”

Stacy ZinnRetired Drug Enforcement Agent

It comes as President Donald Trump‘s ironclad approach against Mexican drug cartels has forced the country’s government to come down hard on powerful criminal syndicates.

Trump’s executive order designated eight Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

Plus, his tariff threats against Mexico sparked measures against fentanyl production in Sinaloa state, the home of the Sinaloa Cartel, the most powerful gang.

The government has since enacted arrests, extraditions, and drug lab busts and seizures.

WARNING TO SPRING BREAKERS

However, a former Drug Enforcement Agent warned The U.S. Sun that the crackdown might put Spring Breakers in Mexico in danger.

Stacy Zinn, a retired DEA official who spent nearly 23 years at the agency, said rival gangs are now left battling for power in tourist hotspots with the major players out of the picture.

“Mexico is a hot potato right now with cartels being labeled as terrorist organization affiliates,” Zinn told The U.S. Sun.

“There’s a lot of uncertainty of how the Mexican cartels are going to react.

“We’ve seen an uptick in violence. There was more of cartel versus cartel type situations but Americans or travelers can still get caught up in the crossfire of the rival members, who are trying to establish new boundaries.

Zinn continued, “The more that we arrest individuals and they get extradited back up to the United States, the more of a void it leaves in Mexico, which means that people are going to be dying for positioning and see the uptick.”

Sky Sports F1 in huge shake up for 2025 as Damon Hill AXED after being ‘pushed’ and world champ and female star come in

SKY SPORTS have made a big change to their presenting team with Damon Hill AXED ahead of the new season.

The 2025 campaign gets underway with the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday.

Jacques Villeneuve will return after making two appearances in 2024[/caption]

But a familiar face in Hill will be missing after he stepped away from Sky Sports, claiming he was “pushed back” by the broadcaster.

Replacing the former F1 champion will be Jamie Chadwick.

She is a three-time W Series champion and will compete in the European Le Mans Series this year.

Another move sees Jacques Villeneuve returning for more appearances.

Villeneuve, 53, claimed his F1 title the year after Hill in 1997 and has provided analysis for Sky Sports on his home race – the Canadian Grand Prix – in the past.

He made two appearances last season and revealed he would be keen to come back for more.

When asked about returning, Villeneuve said: “I had an absolute blast. It was so fun, it was a big group but a really good group.

“Of course, I would be happy to do more.”

Hill had a very different view of his role at Sky Sports, having been a pundit for the broadcaster since 2012.

He said: “I think I felt like the end was coming anyway, because I was kind of pushed back all last year.

“I was doing the less attractive races. And they’ve got younger, fresher names.

“They’ve got Jenson [Button], they’ve got Nico [Rosberg]. And that’s fair enough – I completely get it.

“They’re closer to the front line than I am. And it’s TV. There’s got to be a bit of eye-candy factor to it.”
