Traitors winner Jake says wife will decide how he spends show winnings – after row over work colleague ‘relationship’

TRAITORS winner Jake Brown has said his wife ‘wears the trousers’ so will be deciding how his prize money is spent, after their marriage was rocked by scandal.

Dubbed “The Traitor Hunter” after correctly identifying Linda Rands as a Traitor, Jake quickly became a favourite to win.

And he ended up doing just that, alongside ex-soldier Leanne Quigley.

They split the £96,600 prize, after a whopping 7.4million people tuned in to watch last month’s finale.

And after finally receiving their huge prize fund, Jake, who appeared alongside Leanne at the TV Choice Awards, shared how he planned on spending it.

Jake, 28, told The Sun: “The most extravagant thing I think I’ve bought with it is a suit.

“I feel I don’t want to spend it yet because I’m almost scared to spend it.”

Asked whether his wife Shannon will have a say in how the money gets spent, Jake looked at Leanne.

She then said: “Of course she’ll have a say on how it’s spent.”

Jake interjected: “She has full say.”

To which Leanne went on: “Shannon wears the trousers in their relationship, absolutely.”

Jake and Shannon, 27, posed for a picture together recently, while attending a 21st birthday party thrown for fellow Traitors star Freddie Fraser.

The couple were all smiles in the snap and Jake shared it with his 50,000 followers on Instagram.

The new picture of Jake and Shannon came just hours after The Sun On Sunday exclusively revealed their marriage had hit a rocky patch last year.

Shannon confronted her husband shortly after their wedding when he grew close to a female colleague.

Jake, a project manager, and the woman are said to have hit it off at a work party two months after he had tied the knot.

The workmates grew close over five months and comforted each other as they both battled problems at home.

But his new wife Shannon grew suspicious and ordered him to end the friendship.

A source said: “She wasn’t happy, and confronted Jake. She told him it had to stop.”

The pair, who both work for the same company in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, hit it off at an early Christmas party in November 2023.

Shannon and Jake have been together since 2015 and married on September 15, 2023, at the Daffodil Hotel & Spa in Grasmere.

But according to friends the couple soon endured a “rocky patch”.

Jake’s 24-year-old work pal, who The Sun decided not to name, had bought a house with her boyfriend of three years, but was also having relationship difficulties.

A source said: “Jake had become close to this woman and they were hanging out.

“They confided in each other. They’d meet up and lean on each other for comfort and support. But the longer it went on, Shannon grew suspicious of the friendship.”

How does The Traitors work and who hosts it?

The Traitors first launched in the UK in 2022, after the Dutch format was acquired by the BBC.

Claudia Winkleman is the show’s host, and has now hosted all three series to date.

How does it work?

It is a reality game show that involves 22 contestants, and some of them are chosen to be The Traitors.

The Traitors sees a group of contestants taking part in “the ultimate game of truth and deception”.

The group of contestants are competing for the chance to walk away with a huge cash prize.

While navigating through a series of challenges, the team are also tasked with figuring out who the Traitors are in the group (usually three contestants).

Each night, the Traitors gather to “eliminate” one of the Faithful, removing them from the competition

Meanwhile, the traitors can be “banished” if they’re successfully outed as a traitor by a faithful.

The winners of the show are either the Traitor who remains undetected or the Faithfuls if they successfully eliminate all the Traitors.

The prize sees the winner could get £120K.

Khloe Kardashian reveals her school run must-have, why tracksuit bottoms are OUT & top beauty advice to prevent ageing

KHLOE Kardashian has revealed why she barely ever goes out in tracksuit bottoms, plus her must-have for the school run.

Not only this, but the reality TV veteran, 40, got candid about stealing her sister’s clothes and her famous mother’s style.

As well as this, Khloe revealed her beauty advice to stay looking youthful[/caption]

Speaking to The Sunday Times, the mum-of-two, who was recently involved in the ‘most awkward 10 minutes of TV ever’, also shared her top beauty advice to prevent ageing.

So if you want to look as stylish and youthful as Khloe, then you’ve come to the right place.

When it comes to the beauty advice she would give to her teenage self, Khloe simply shared: “Wear sunscreen as much as you can. I wear it religiously now, especially on my hands.

“Your hands and neck tell your age so you’ve got to take care of them. Your face, you can fix!”

Not only is sun cream a staple in her beauty bag, but she also revealed the one thing she wouldn’t be without for the school run.

The brunette beauty claimed: “The only consistent thing is my new XO Khloe fragrance, which I wear day to night. I never mix scents, I’m very loyal.”

Khloe, who describes her style as “modernly sexy”, expressed that she loves mixing up and “playing different characters” through her fashion.

When asked what made her fall in love with styling, Khloe recognised that her grandmothers, as well as her mum, played a huge part.

She confessed: “Both of my grandmothers and my mum were always so chic. I have never seen either of my grandmothers with a hair out of place.

“My dad’s mum had such exquisite jewellery and was always put-together, and my mum’s mum, MJ, owned a boutique and always looked fabulous and presentable.”

Not only this, but she explained why tracksuit bottoms are out for her in 2025, as she continued: “My mum won’t leave home without looking perfect.

“She gets mad at me if I’ve rolled out of the house in baggy sweats. She’ll just look me up and down.”

Don’t follow the trends. March to the beat of your own drum

Khloe Kardashian

Whilst Kris Jenner, 69, is a huge fashion inspiration for this star, she also used to steal T-shirts from her sister’s, Kim and Kourtney’s wardrobes.

Despite this, she admitted: “I couldn’t fit into their other clothes, but they would steal each other’s all the time. I’d watch those fights.”

Hottest fashion trends of 2025

Fabulous’ Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend has shared the biggest trends from the high street.

The East/West Bag

Baguette bags have had a good run, after returning from the 90s shoulders of Sarah Jessica Parker to modern fashion icons like Hailey Bieber.

In 2025, the East/West bag is a similar but elongated shape and has long, thin straps that are easy to throw over your shoulders.

They’ve been on runway models’ arms at nearly ever designer’s shows – think Burberry, Givenchy and Bottega Veneta – and are hitting the high street now, too.

Powder pink

Bright fuchsia pink had its day after the release of the Barbie film in 2023 and didn’t appear last year – and now the more polished and expensive looking pale shade is taking over for 2025.

Pantone may say that it’s the year of Mocha Mousse, but the catwalks say otherwise! From Prada to Erdem, the subtle look was all over the spring/summer catwalks, worn head-to-toe or on its own.

If the sugary shade is too girly for you, then look to sharp suiting for a androgynous take on the colour.

The shell jacket

The 80s classic is back, but with a sleek and minimal new twist for 2025.

We all know that for most of spring we’re likely to see rain, and your practical coat of choice should be a cagoule jacket.

Depop revealed one of its big trend predictions for this year is retro sportswear, with surges already seen in ‘80s windbreakers’.

Seen everywhere from the stylish streets of Copenhagen to the Miu Miu catwalk, now mums who have an emergency raincoat crumpled underneath their pushchair are very much in fashion!

The turn-up jeans

Whilst jeans shape remains the same for this year and barrel-legs are still going to be seen everywhere, the way we’re styling them is different.

This season, transform your wide-leg, baggy denims into turn-ups.

And for this look, size doesn’t matter, so while deep turn-ups are a hit from jean trend-leaders Citizens of Humanity, a slight fold is still just as good – but only as it’s just one single fold.

Peep-toe shoe

Get your pedicures booked in sharpish, as this season your toes are the main event.

After a long hiatus, the peep-toe has been welcomed back into the fashion fold, with brands like Hermes, Miu Miu and Tory Burch showing plain and embellished footwear all with the tiny hole.

From mules to pumps and clogs (yes clogs will be around too!), there are lots of different styles that are set to sweep the high street, but they will all have peep-toe.

Sheer blouses

See-through looks have always lived on the catwalk, but have rarely filtered into everyday life – until now.

Designers Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford loved sheer looks on their SS25 catwalks and M&S even had sellout success with its black sheer pencil skirt last season.

Expect to see more sheer looks lining supermarket aisles and high street shops in the form of skirts, tops and frocks.

Khloe also stressed her top fashion advice, as she beamed: “Don’t follow the trends. March to the beat of your own drum.”

And when it comes to her eldest nieces, Penelope Disick, 12, and North West, 11, Khloe claimed that she is ‘proud’ that they don’t want to wear ‘provocative things’.

Instead, she highlighted: “They’re into their Billie Eilish baggy clothes and I love that confidence in them.”

‘The worst thing you can say as a referee’ – ‘Voice of Darts’ Russ Bray agrees with Luke Littler on crowd trouble

LEGENDARY darts referee Russ Bray has weighed in on the crowd trouble during Night Two of the Premier League in Glasgow on Thursday night.

Darts fans in the OVO Hydro were criticised for whistling throughout the evening and even saw intervention from referee Kirk Bevins when things got loud during the final between Luke Littler and Luke Humphries.

Luke Littler claimed Bevins made matters worse with his interjection to quieten the crowd[/caption]

Bevins told the Scottish fans to “stop whistling!” in an effort to sort things out, but unfortunately saw his attempt at calming the crowd lead to even more noise.

Littler, who won the final 6-5 to take home the nightly victory, hit out at referee Bevins for “making it worse”.

Speaking after the victory he said: “Obviously, there were a few in particular that were doing it when Luke was throwing. Then when Kirk told them to be quiet, it got even worse. And then I missed doubles.”

Adding: “But I think it’s best off if they don’t whistle at us. We just want to play our darts.”

Now iconic darts ref Russ Bray, who was coined ‘The Voice of Darts’, has agreed with the 18-year-old’s sentiment, claiming telling the crowd to stop whistling is “the worst thing you can say”.

He told The Express: “The worst thing you can say as a referee is, ‘ladies and gentleman, please don’t whistle’, because all the idiots will start whistling. That’s the mentality of them.

“All you can say is say, ‘ladies and gentlemen, please give the best of order’. Then it’s up to the security to do something about it, to get those idiots out.

“We don’t need them in there, it drives you nuts. It’s a thorn in the side of the game, for sure.

“How you police it, it’s very difficult. It’s hard to pinpoint one person when you’ve got thousands of people in the audience.

“It really needs the people in the audience to point them out. If an idiot next to me was whistling, I’d turn round and have a go at him. You’re there to enjoy the game, not have some clown spoil it.

“It’s their work. If someone was laying bricks, you wouldn’t go down there and play with his cement to put him off”.

Bray claimed that he “absolutely detests” whistlers and “wishes they could be thrown out”.

The PDC seem to have similar thoughts too, as they reminded fans of their duty to respect the players in a statement following Thursday’s issues.

PDC statement in full

A look at what the PDC had to say after the crowd trouble in Glasgow...

“The PDC wishes to strongly reiterate that it does not condone any behaviour which can disrupt an event, such as whistling or booing when players are throwing.

“Every player goes on stage with the intention of performing to the best of their ability and providing an entertaining spectacle for all fans, whether in the venue or watching worldwide.

“As per the terms and conditions of entry to events, spectators who act inappropriately can be removed from the venue.

“The PDC works closely with Premier League venues, who have responsibility for crowd control, to take proactive and decisive action against those who behave inappropriately.

“The vast majority of fans who attend our sell-out events on a regular basis also condemn this behaviour.

“And we will continue to promote a positive atmosphere which gives all players the opportunity to play to the best of their ability in every match.”

Max George reveals he had another secret heart surgery after getting ‘worse and worse’

The Wanted star Max George has revealed he recently underwent a second heart operation after first having a pacemaker fitted in December.

The singer, 36, was originally rushed into A&E in Manchester just before Christmas 2024, where he was fitted with a pacemaker.

This came after he awoke, feeling freezing cold and with bright blue hands, while staying with mum Babs, 63, at her home in Manchester following a month-long tour of the USA with his band.

After alerting his mother – who he credits with saving his life – he was initially sent home by their GP – however, a doctor friend then told him to get straight to A&E.

It was there that he was told he would need to have the operation because he had a ‘block’ in his heart for which a pacemaker – a small device used to treat some arrhythmias – had to be fitted.

After coming out of that surgery successfully, Max thought he was on the road to recovery.

That is until recently, when he began to feel a shaking and fluttering in his chest that was gradually worsening, he revealed to The Sun.

He said: ‘I was trying to get back to good health but was still having a flickering sensation for weeks after I had my pacemaker fitted and it was gradually getting worse and worse.’

Eventually, Max booked in for a second surgery on January 15, thought he battled fears beforehand that he ‘could bleed out,’ given the rare set of cirumstances.

Luckily, the second surgery was a success, and Max feels lucky to be on the other side of such a scary ordeal.

After his first operation, Max updated his followers by posting a photo of the large scar from the procedure above which is a tattoo of his late Wanted bandmate Tom Parker’s birthday, 4 August 1988.

Tom Parker died in 2022, aged 33, after he was diagnosed with brain cancer.

In his powerful caption, Max wrote: ‘Given the last 10 days, this is the best Christmas present I could have ever wished for.

‘Pacemaker is in. Operation took around 2 and half hours. The main issue being some of my veins had collapsed where the wires were meant to go… But the surgeons and nurses at the NHS have been incredible. I owe everything to them.

‘The surgeon kindly put my pacemaker just underneath a very special tattoo of mine.. So I’m sure it’s being looked after.’

He added that he still has a ‘few more tests’ remaining for ‘inflamed lymph nodes’ on his lungs but said it will ‘be easy work’.

‘Time to rest and then tackle life full-on once again. Thank you for all your support. It’s meant a hell of a lot to myself and my family,’ he concluded.

Now, as Max recovers from his second heart surgery, he’s been leaning on girlfriend Maisie Smith, 23.

Maisie, who is a former EastEnders star, met Max when they were competing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020 and started dating two years later.
