It is set to be Mariah’s first none Christmas show in the UK since 2019.
It’s been twenty years since Mariah’s record breaking The Emancipation of Mimi which includes mega hits We Belong Together and It’s Like That.
A source said: “Talks have been ongoing for a while and finally everything has fallen into place.
“Mariah was initially set to headline the festival in 2020 and then Covid happened.
“It’s part of a series of shows celebrating The Emancipation of Mimi album which had some of her biggest hits on it.
“No doubt it will be a military operation when Mariah arrives in Brighton but the festival can do it before – they pulled off Britney headlining back in 2018.”
It’s set to be a huge year for Mariah, who wraps up her Las Vegas residency – The Celebration of Mimi – on February 15.
She has also as good as wrapped up work on her 16th studio album – her first since 2018’s Caution.
Speaking last January, Mariah said: “I have a lot I want to do. I’m busy.
“I’m writing new material, so there is new music and a new album coming some time in the future.
“I’m not sure when. I’m just enjoying the songwriting process.”
She added to Variety in May: “I’m excited about it. I have to figure out which songs I’m going to do and which songs I’m not going to do. But I think I’m very excited about it.”

LUKE Littler is poised to rival Stephen Bunting in a new way by starting a similar side hustle.
And the Nuke revealed that he already has plenty of ideas in the pipeline to get the quest off the board.
GettyLuke Littler has hinted at starting a new side hustle in the future[/caption]
Stephen Bunting has a YouTube channelSportsfile
Littler, whose arrows success has seen the sport explode in popularity, is already a hit on social media.
And the 18-year-old has is open to launching his own YouTube channel.
The world champion was asked if he’d ever thought of starting his own channel, like Bunting on the Huw Ware podcast.
Littler said: “Yeah, I think it’s one for the future. Definitely one for the future but at the minute, it’s a case of just chilling out, seeing the year through.
“There’s loads of ideas for YouTube, like ‘Day in the Life of Luke Littler’.
“Or just filming darts. Playing against fans on the TargetDarts counter. There is a lot you can do.”
Bunting – who beat Littler on his way to claiming the Bahrain Darts title in January – has more than 65,000 YouTube subscribers.
The 39-year-old appears to have started it fairly recently, with four videos posted in the last month.
He also dug into what a successful year would look like, saying: “Ideally, I want to retain the Premier League.
“The Matchplay didn’t go too well for me last year, so I’d like to win at least a game there and go deep into the tournament.”
The Warrington-ace was then asked how he prepares to play on the world stage, after appearing visibly emotional after the first-round of the world champs.
He revealed: “There’s been a few times where I felt nervous, but I just think to myself, just enjoy it and you won’t get nervous.
“But I’m pretty sure I was born with no nerves. And when you’re playing, you get the first leg, the first two legs,
“And you settle in even if the opponent comes back at you, you know, you’ve got the game to come back.”
Littler hasn’t exactly kicked on from his record-breaking win at Ally Pally on January 3.
He was dumped out early in the Bahrain and Dutch Masters, before losing to Michael van Gerwen in the first round at the first night of Premier League darts in Belfast.
The teenager was also knocked out of the first Players Championship event of the year on Monday – after losing to 6-3 Rob Cross.

4 weeks agoNew York StateComments Off on I go to monthly orgies but they’re not all ‘Roman-esque’ – I’ll date couples or have group sex, it’s normal to me
A WOMAN who has been in polyamorous relationships for ten years has revealed what it’s really like.
Ruby Rare from the UK shared that while many think it’s all about orgies, the truth is much more complicated.

rubyrareThe sex educator shared what it’s really like[/caption]
The sex educator and author sat down with Bryony Gordon on her podcast, The Life of Bryony, to spill the tea.
Ruby, who has been in open relationships for a decade, claims there is much more interest in non-monogamy and is inundated with questions about it on social media.
“There’s a very common misconception of going ‘Oh well if you’re in an open relationship, you’re just a cheater and you’re legitimising it,'” she said, adding that wasn’t the case.
Ruby revealed she was 20 when she came across the term on a dating site.
“I was lucky, I was dating in my early 20s and matched with someone on a dating app who had polyamory in his profile and so I Googled it and was like I’ve never heard that word before,” she explained.
At the time, Ruby was casually dating, so she decided to give it a go and joined him and his other girlfriend.
She said it was ‘magical’ to date him and get to know his girlfriend after they all moved in together.
Ruby found herself in some bizarre moments, such as sleeping with her man and the girlfriend coming into the bedroom to have a catch-up.
She also revealed she expected her non-monogamous life to be filled with orgies every weekend which hasn’t been the case.
Bryony asked if she had a misconception about being polyamorous before she delved into the world of it, Ruby replied: “That it was going to be all about sex and I’d be going to an orgy every weekend.
“I have orgied in the past I will continue to orgy, but it’s a rarer occurrence.”
As for the type of group play Ruby gets involved with, she said it’s often a moderate amount of people and she had only been in Romanesque-style ones a couple of times.
“But that kind of Romanesque orgy has only happened to me a couple of times,” she explained.
Now Ruby keeps her orgies as a monthly treat rather than participating weekly.
What is polyamory?
Polyamory is the practice of having romantic relationships with more than one person at the same time, with the knowledge and consent of all parties.
It can refer to relationships where one person has multiple partners or spouses, or where all parties are in a relationship with each other, for example in a throuple.
According to You Gov, 6.8% of people in the UK have been in a polyamorous relationship.
Bryony asked what constitutes a ‘moderate amount of group sex’ and how many people participate, after Ruby said that’s all she has.
Ruby replied: “It varies, like, three (people) plus, probably once a month.”
She also revealed that a massive misconception in her chosen relationship style was that it was all about sex.
Ruby added that a lot of communication had to happen involving boundaries and trust to ensure everyone is happy before they get to the good stuff.
While Ruby knows polyamory may not be for everybody, she is vocal about wanting sex of all kinds to be less taboo so that everyone can experience pleasure.
“In terms of feeling comfortable exploring and doing all of this, I’d encourage you to find the people in your life who you can chat a bit more intimately about this,” she said.
X/ BBCMOTDJose Mourinho gave a sarcastic but sharp reply in a war of words with Mauro Icardi[/caption]
GettyIt had come after Icardi labelled him ‘the crying one’[/caption]
The Argentine had labelled Mourinho as “the crying one” as a reference to his “special one” nickname coined all those years ago when he first joined Chelsea.
Mourinho, 62, gave a sarcastic but sharp reply to the 31-year-old.
Speaking to reporters before his side face Anderlecht in the Europa League play-offs, he said: “I show I am a special one, not the special one.
“With 25 years of career and 26 titles and not with one match. That is not one match to define my career. My career is a career of 25 years.
“In relation to the comments of Icardi, Icardi is a GOAT and I refuse to comment on a GOAT’s words. He is too big, I won’t comment.”
Reacting to the comments on social media, one fan said: “My refusal to accept ‘goat’ in anything other than its traditional footballing definition makes this 100 times funnier.”
A second said: “He is never afraid to bring the smoke, Jose. He is Hollywood.”
The entire argument started when Mourinho made reference to Galatasaray’s alleged favouritism with referees in Turkey in a post on Instagram.
Galatasaray’s clash with Adana Demirspor was abandoned when Adana’s players walked off the pitch after 30 minutes in protest at a controversial penalty decision.
Mourinho then used a picture showing ex-Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez handling the ball in the box in a game against Gaziantep last week, with no penalty being given.
He captioned the post: “In the Handball World Cup that ended last Sunday, my Portugal team brilliantly reached the semi-finals and I want to congratulate them for such an achievement and the impact they will have on our country’s youth.”
Icardi had then replied by posting a meme of the “crying one” on his Instagram story, thus prompting Mourinho’s next response.
Mourinho has been famously outspoken against officials throughout his career, with that trend continuing in Turkey.
He was fined more than £20,000 and given a one-match ban for launching a rant against Super Lig and the officiating standard in November.
Speaking after a 3-2 win over Trazbonspor, he had said: “Nobody abroad wants to watch the Turkish league. Who wants to watch this Turkish league abroad?
“They have the Premier League, they have the French league, they have the German league, they have the Portuguese league, they have the Dutch league. Why would they watch this?
“It’s too grey. It’s too dark, smells bad. But that’s my job, and I will give everything to my job, to my club.”
He followed up by saying: “We were in good control, winning 1-0 when Atilla woke up because in the first half he was probably having Turkish tea.
“The man of the match was Atilla Karaoglan. We didn’t see him but he was the referee.
“The referee was just a little boy that was there on the pitch, but the referee was Atilla Karaoglan.”
Fenerbahce are three points behind Galatasaray in the league, though the leaders have a game in hand.
Furious Jose Mourinho's CUTTING dig at referee Clement Turpin after red card vs Man Utd
JOSE MOURINHO launched a sarcastic blast at ref Clement Turpin after he was red-carded in his clash with former club Manchester United.
The Fenerbahce boss saw his side fight back to earn a point as United tossed away the lead for a third successive drawn Europa League match.
Mourinho was sent to the stands after raging against Turpin’s failure to award a penalty against Manuel Ugarte for a challenge on Bright Osayi-Samuel.
And Mourinho scowled: “The referee told me something incredible. He said at the same time he could see the action in the box and my behaviour on the touchline.
“I congratulate him because he is absolutely incredible. During the game, 100 miles per hour, he had one eye on the penalty situation and one eye on my behaviour on the bench. That’s the explanation he gave me.
“That is why he is one of the best referees in the world!”

A WOMAN who tried and failed eight times to get asylum has been granted the right to stay in the UK after joining a terror group to boost her claim.
Upper tribunal judge Gemma Loughran who gave the 49-year-old Nigerian the right to stay, acknowledged she was being dishonest about her political beliefs.

The judge said she became involved with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IOPB) only “in order to create a claim for asylum”.
The woman came to the UK in 2011 and joined the separatist group in 2017, reports The Daily Telegraph, which has seen court documents relating to the case.
IOPB has been blamed for acts of violence against the Nigerian state, where it has been banned as a terrorist organisation – but it’s not proscribed in Britain.
Ms Loughran said the asylum seeker’s involvement with the group meant she had a “well-founded fear of persecution” under human rights laws.
The woman had submitted multiple appeals after her right to remain in the UK was rejected over a 10-year period – this included claims she was a trafficking victim.
PAEDO AVOIDS DEPORTATION
It comes after a paedophile dad jailed for child sex offences escaped deportation to Pakistan after a UK judge ruled it would be “unduly harsh” on his two toddlers.
The unnamed father, who was granted anonymity by an immigration court, had been banned from living with his kids after attempting to solicit three “barely pubescent” girls for sex.
He was jailed for 18 months. A lower tribunal judge, however, ruled he should not be deported back to his homeland due to the impact on his own children.
The Home Office has appealed against the decision made under article eight of the European Convention on Human Rights.
The Home Office had rejected their appeal to stay with their brother, who lives in the UK, after they submitted it through the Ukraine Family Scheme.
It was denied by lower-tier immigration judge Joanne Oxlade because the family were not from Ukraine.
But, higher-tier judge Hugo Norton-Taylor ruled this was a breach of the family’s human rights – despite being warned against it by the Home Office.
He said the family were in an “extreme and life threatening” situation which outweighed the “public interest”.
The PM declared “it should be the Government that makes policy” after a judge ruled the six Palestinians could stay in the country using a refugee scheme established for Ukrainians.
At a packed out PMQs Sir Keir said: “I do not agree with the decision.
“It’s the wrong decision.”
The PM added: “Let me be clear, it should be Parliament that makes the rules on immigration.
“It should be the Government that makes the policy, that is the principle, and the Home Secretary is already looking at the legal loophole which we need to close in this particular case.”
Sir Keir humiliated Kemi Badenoch as he pointed out that the decision was taken under the previous Tory government.
Responding to demands from Ms Badenoch to slam the ruling, the PM replied: “She hasn’t quite done her homework, because the decision in question was taken under the last government according to the legal framework for the last government.”
Grilling Sir Keir on the issue, the Tory leader declared Britain cannot “allow enormous numbers of people to exploit our laws”.
She said: “There are millions of people all around the world in terrible situations.
“We cannot help them all, and we certainly cannot bring them all here.”
Politicians expressed outrage today after it emerged a mother, father and their four children could stay in the UK using the Ukraine Family Scheme.
An initial application by the family was refused by the Home Office in May last year.
But in September an immigration tribunal ruled in favour of the Gazans, who claimed under the European Court of Human Rights that they had a “right to a family life” with the father’s brother, who is a UK citizen.
The Home Office insisted it contested the claim “vigorously”.

SMASH, a former NBC series about the creation of a Broadway musical, is making a comeback – but on stage this time.
The original show was executive produced by Steven Spielberg, and aired for two seasons between 2012 and 2013.

NBCThe original show was a musical drama[/caption]
NBCThe stage play will be more of a comedy[/caption]
It followed a fictional New York theatre community as they worked on a new production about Marilyn Monroe.
The ensemble cast included Debra Messing, Jack Davenport, Katharine McPhee, Christian Borle, Megan Hilty, and Anjelica Huston.
Original songs were written for the show by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman – the duo behind Hairspray.
Although Smash got off to a strong start – bagging four Emmys, a Golden Globe and receiving a nod from the Grammys – the show was cancelled after its second season.
But now fans will get another chance to step into the world of Bombshell, the Marilyn Monroe musical at the heart of the TV show.
Smash will make its live Broadway debut next month.
Audiences can expect some major changes as producers have said the new production will ‘depart liberally’ from the original show’s storyline.
They joked: “If you loved the TV series, it’s exactly what you want. And if you didn’t, we changed everything.”
Broadway star and Tony nominee Robyn Hurder is taking on the role of Ivy, who was originally played by Megan Hilty.
While there may be some changes to the storyline, the core plot will still follow the intense rivalry between two actresses vying for the lead role of Marilyn Monroe.
Director Susan Stroman revealed that while the TV show leaned into melodrama, the Broadway version will be more of a comedy.
She shared: “It has familiar characters, but they are different in their backstories. It has many moments that pay homage to the TV series, but the musical stands on its own. It’s very eccentric.”
