Trump warned against ‘deal with devil’ with tyrant Putin ahead of showdown talks to ‘end Ukraine war’

DONALD Trump has been warned against cutting a deal with tyrant Vladimir Putin ahead of talks to end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The American has blindsided Ukraine and Europe’s leaders and appears ready to do business with the Kremlin directly and meet despot Vlad in Saudi Arabia.

European leaders have been left fuming that they and Ukraine appear to have been cut out of talks by Trump before the peace process even started to end the three-year-old war.

In a rebuke to the Americans, UK defence secretary John Healey warned: “There can be no negotiation about Ukraine without Ukraine and Ukraine’s voice must be at the heart of any talks.

“We all want to see a durable peace and no return to conflict and aggression – and let’s not forget, Russia remains a threat well beyond Ukraine.”

Meanwhile, the Kremlin appears to be popping the champagne at the prospect of winning the war.

Putin’s top crony Dmitry Medvedev has hailed Trump as stepping back from “apocalypse” as he celebrates the peace talks.

The former Russian President – who is mad Vlad’s top ally – gloated in a post on social media as he continued to push Russia’s false narrative that either it wins or there will be nuclear war.

Joe Biden backing Ukraine and waiting for Kyiv to lead peace negotiations was “a grave mistake,” Mevedev claimed, “which nearly wiped humanity off the face of the earth”.

While the exact details of the Trump and Putin’s deal remain unknown, it appears that America will acquiesce to Russia keeping Ukrainian land and prevent Kyiv from joining Nato – long a goal of the Kremlin.

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has denied America is “betraying Ukraine” in doing business with Russia.

At a Nato meeting in Brussels in Thursday, he said: “There is a recognition that the whole world and the United States is invested and interested in peace, a negotiated peace, as President Trump has said, stopping the killing.”

Hegseth described the Ukraine conflict as “a factory reset for NATO, a realization that this alliance needs to be robust and strong and real”.

He went on to reiterate that European nations need to increase their defence spending.

Hegseth said: “There is a Russian war machine that has sought to take more and more land in Ukraine, and standing up against that is an important European responsibility.”

On Wednesday, Hegsesth said it was “unrealistic” for Ukraine to return to its 2014 borders before Putin invaded Crimea.

Whether Kyiv will accept the deal decided between Trump and Putin remains unknown.

How America is going about securing peace has created a split between the Nato allies in Washington DC and European capitals.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz rejected any “dictated peace” and his defence minister said it was “regrettable” Washington was already making “concessions” to the Kremlin.

Nato chief Mark Rutte on Thursday said that it was crucial Kyiv is “closely involved” in any talks about what is happening in Ukraine.

In a follow-up post, Medvedev labelled Europe’s response to being cut out like a “frigid spinster” “mad with jealousy and rage”.

Relying on sexist tropes, Putin’s pal said Europe’s marginalised geopolitical role was like it having poor “chances of snagging a husband.”

He raged: “No wonder. Europe’s time is over. It’s weak, ugly and useless.”

Critics have warned against any repeat of the pre-WW2 policy of appeasement pushed by UK PM Neville Chamberlain where concessions were offered to Adolf Hitler.

Defence analyst and historian Paul Beaver yesterday told The Sun “Trump wants a Nobel Peace Prize but all he is doing is signalling weakness.

“Ukraine has had many bad days and this is worse than others because their greatest ally appears to have sold them out.

“Putin will be celebrating the success of his aggression. I fear history is repeating itself with terrifying consequences.”

Putin has agreed the “war must end”, President Trump said following the call.

Trump didn’t confirm a date when the pivotal catch-up may happen but did say it would be “in the not too distant future”.

He also expects to visit Moscow and welcome Putin’s team to Washington during his second term in office.

“The first time, we’ll meet in Saudi Arabia, see if we get something done.

“We expect that he’ll come here, and I’ll go there, and we’re going to meet also, probably in Saudi Arabia,” Trump said.

On the phone call, Putin called for “common sense” to be applied to the conversations about ending the fighting.

The chat is believed to be Putin’s first confirmed direct contact with a US president since the start of the war in February 2022.

The call reportedly lasted for around an hour and a half, according to the Kremlin.

Trump also held a phone call with Ukraine’s Zelensky to agree to the “next steps” of the conflict.

Zelensky ideally wants Russia to totally withdraw and for Ukraine to not give away any land.

But Kyiv’s position has moderated and Zelensky has said Ukraine might not get all of its land back immediately.

Trump and Putin's relationship

Donald Trump has a history of positive and admiring comments about strongman Vladimir Putin.

They have long prompted criticism from his rivals that he is “soft on Russia”.

Trump rejects that, saying that no US president was ever tougher on Moscow and that a US president needs a relationship with the Russian leader.

Trump said he “got along great” with him during his first term where they met in person five times and nine publicly reported phone conversations.

Since the start of his second term, however, Trump has criticised Putin’s conduct of the “ridiculous” Ukraine war and said that the conflict is “destroying” Russia.

Trump has threatened more sanctions on Russia if it didn’t come to the negotiating table over Ukraine.

Zelenksy has also called for tough security guarantees from Washington as part of any deal with Russia.

Kyiv fears that any settlement that does not include hard military commitments it will just allow the Kremlin time to regroup and rearm for a fresh attack.

It cut a reported deal with America to give assess to its rare earth materials held beneath its soil in return for continued military support.

Trump’s announcement of his intention to meet Putin came just hours after US teacher Marc Fogel was freed from a Russian jail.

Fogel, 63, had been serving a brutal 14-year sentence after being caught with medically prescribed marijuana at a Moscow airport in 2021.

I’ve been breastfeeding for 113 months after me and my hubby kept ‘trying for a girl’ – trolls say we ‘need a new hobby’

THE parents of a large family shared an insight into their lives as trolls advised them to find a new pastime.

Ariel Tyson shares eight children with her husband Michael, and has spent a total of 113 months breastfeeding since 2011.

In their viral video, the TikTok users (@arielctyson) explained that they had been trying for a girl after having multiple sons.

Ariel, 37, and Michael, 38, first began dating in 2005 and became engaged the following year, aged 19 and 20.

They officially tied the knot in 2007 and began trying for children soon after.

The couple experienced a miscarriage in 2010 and went on to welcome a healthy boy in 2011.

Five sons later, Ariel learned she was pregnant yet again and the couple wondered if they would finally have a little girl.

In 2021, they welcomed their first daughter and three years later, her sister came along.

With children aged from just under a year through to 13, Ariel has spent most of the past decade pregnant.

She also revealed that she has spent a total of 113 months breastfeeding.

This demanding feat is made all the more impressive by the fact that the TikToker continues to work from home.

She explained that her family does not employ a nanny and that their closest family live 8,000 miles away.

Ariel shared how teaching her children to be independent has been essential to helping her daily life.

She revealed that her older boys do their own laundry, take out the bins, and clean their own rooms.

The parents have also given their older children debit cards to teach them the value of money.

They use this as a way to reward them for carrying out housework, helping to lighten the load.

According to Ariel and Michael, this has also helped their sons learn to save, invest, and spend wisely.

The world's biggest families

The Radfords

Sue and Noel are parents to 22 children, and their hectic family life is documented in reality show 22 Kids and Counting.

The pair have remained adamant that they won’t be having any more kids, but the amount of grandchildren they have is ever expanding, with daughters Sophie and Millie both mums of three.

The Duggars

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have 19 children – 10 sons and nine daughters.

All of their children’s names begin with the letter J.

They also had their own reality show in the United States, and became household names because of it.

The Bates family

Kelly also has 19 children, with her husband Gil Bates.

Of 19 deliveries, 14 of them were natural.

The couple also have 28 grandchildren, with four more on the way.

The Dougherty Dozen

Mum Alicia frequently shares videos and pictures of her family.

She and husband Josh have four biological children together, as well as adopting or fostering the rest of their brood.

The Rosario family

Yalancia and husband Michael are parents of 11.

They had their first daughter together earlier this year, and are also parents to Jamel, 15, Michael Jr, 11, Angelo, 10, Gimani, seven, Armani, six, Sincere, three and Khaza, two.

Their fourth son, also named Armani, was stillborn.

TikTok users shared their thoughts on the family in the comments section.

“Y’all need a new hobby,” wrote one viewer.

“Tell that man to leave you alone,” said another follower.

“Sir, get up off of heeeeeer,” joked a third commenter.

“Man, you guys are having too much ‘fun’ over there,” said another TikTok user.

His Majesty arrived at the north London arena to great fanfare.

And he was met by Spurs chief Levy before getting a tour of the stadium.

On his travels, King Charles bumped into Tottenham captain Son.

The South Korean star and teammates are enduring a woeful season under manager Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs lie 14th in the table after winning just eight of their 24 league matches.

And last week saw them dumped out of both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup within the space of several days.

Tottenham are now preparing to face Manchester United at home on Sunday.

And speaking to Son, King Charles asked whether Tottenham felt confident about their chances.

But the encounter was made all the more awkward by the fact that Son was being watched by Spurs supremo Levy in the background.

King Charles initiated the conversation by asking: “So who are you playing this weekend then?”

Son answered: “We are going to play against Manchester United on Sunday.”

The King then asked: “Have you got a good chance?”

Son replied: “I hope so!”

His Majesty continued: “Is the team in good order at the moment?”

Son pondered the question before answering: “We are in a difficult moment but we are working hard.”

The King quickly asked: “Are you?”

Son replied simply: “Yes.”

Fans responded to the awkward moment on social media.

One said: “Levy at the back.”

Another declared: “I hope this guy lifts a trophy before he leaves.”

One noted: “At least he’s honest.”

Another added: “King Charles is too funny.”

Much-loved supermarket cafe with ‘best view in England’ set to close doors for good

SHOPPERS at a Sainsbury’s in Cornwall have called the views from the supermarket cafe “the best in England”.

Despite this, a cuppa with stunning sights will no longer be an option – and customers are gutted.

The cafe in Penzance Sainsbury’s is said to have the best views in the UK[/caption]

The “iconic spot” on the terrace of the Penzance store is set to close along with all of Sainsbury’s cafes.

The retailer recently said the “majority of the most loyal shoppers” don’t use them and prefer food halls run by specialist partners like Starbucks.

Mary Fletcher, an artist in the area, was up in arms about the news.

She told Facebook followers that she had called the shop to complain about the decision, but was told by staff that they weren’t able to “reverse” the plans.

The cafe is so popular that it has even scooped reviews on Tripadvisor.

One user wrote: “It must have the best view imaginable.”

Another said: “Penzance Sainsbury’s café must have one of the very best views in the whole of England, overlooking the railway line, Mounts Bay, and the unique St Michael’s Mount.”

“It is fun watching the trains of varying lengths trundle by, people and their dogs gamboling on the beach, various types of surfers strutting their stuff.”

A third echoed: “I cannot imagine there is a supermarket with a more amazing view than here.

“Outside decking (weather permitting) allows coffee to be sipped with St Michael’s Mount complimenting the beautiful Mounts Bay.”

On Secret Truro’s Instagram page, they shared a snap of the sea views.

“Finally got in the sea, now warming up with a coffee here. Is this the best view from any Sainsbury’s?” they wrote.

Other fans called it “one of a kind” and “easily the best supermarket cafe ever”.

On Facebook, one person called it iconic, and suggested it would be a great spot for “someone to lease an independent cafe”.

In agreement, another added: “One of the best things about the Sainsbury’s café in the Penzance store was it’s decking where you could sit outside and have one of the best views in the world – Mounts Bay.”

A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “We’re currently doing everything we can to support our colleagues who were impacted by the announcement.

“We will explore future opportunities for the space and will keep our colleagues and customers updated.”

As well as the cafe, there will be other huge changes to the seaside store.

The patisserie, hot food and pizza counters are set to close to make space for fresh ranges in stores.

While popular products from the doomed counters are set to be distributed elsewhere in the store, the rest is likely to be axed.

It’s not yet been announced which items will be impacted.

New footage shows moment that sparked huge brawl between Liverpool and Everton stars and four red cards

NEW footage has emerged of the crazy scenes which sparked a massive brawl immediately after the final whistle during the Everton-Liverpool game.

The final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park ended in a 2-2 draw with James Tarkowski‘s late volley ensuring the spoils were shared in a hotly contested fixture.

More players and stewards arrived to separate the pair with Jones still incensed[/caption]

But there were explosive scenes at the full-time whistle as players wearing the blue and red clashed on the field.

It came about as Abdoulaye Doucoure ran over to the away fans to celebrate the late equaliser.

Curtis Jones, who has been at Liverpool since the age of nine, did not take too kindly to the celebration happening in front of him and bolted over to confront the Toffees midfielder.

From there, players, coaches and stewards rushed over to diffuse the situation, though it only ended up expanding the brawl.

But new footage released by broadcaster TNT Sports has given viewers a new insight into the incident.

A slowed-down version of the events shows how an incensed Jones, 24, ran over to grab the shirt of his 32-year-old rival.

Carlos Alcaraz and Ashley Young arrive on the scene immediately and try to separate the pair, but Jones had a vice-like grip on Doucoure’s shirt and was determined to get his point across.

Jones was seen grabbing and ripping with both hands while he was simultaneously trying to be dragged away by the two other Everton stars.

Liverpool pair Alexis Mac Allister and Darwin Nunez as well as Toffees defender Jake O’Brien then arrived on the scene just after stewards to help separate them.

As more players joined the melee, a plastic water bottle was thrown from the crowd.

Fortunately, it missed the heads of anyone involved in the scrap and instead hit the shoulders of Beto, who scored the game’s opening goal after 11 minutes, before bouncing off and behind him.

Jones and Doucoure were both sent off for their actions, while Arne Slot was also given his marching orders after shaking the hand of Michael Oliver.

It has resulted in a two-game ban after Slot allegedly used “offensive, insulting, or abusive language”.

Reds assistant manager Sipke Hulshoff had also been dismissed for incessantly arguing about the Everton equaliser due to an apparent foul on Ibrahima Konate in the build-up.

Speaking about the incident and the game itself, Everton manager David Moyes said: “It was mayhem all game, it was a bit of an old-fashioned throwback.

“The bit after the game, I could tell you about it but the truth is, it’s not really what we should be talking about.

“What I do know is Doucoure got a yellow that led to a red which I am disappointed with as we are short of players.

“The place was boiling hot all night, emotional, it was an incredible atmosphere inside the stadium. I think it was hugely important that Evertonians get to finish at their stadium as best as they can.

“I just feel the support in here was unbelievable tonight, it was incredible support and I think it was fitting they got an end like they did.

“We didn’t win, which was disappointing, but we got a draw in a game that didn’t look as if it was going to go in our favour. It would have been hard to come here losing 2-1 and talking about it.

“But I think the way the crowd stayed to the end, it was a magical moment. There was a bit of tooing and froing at the end which might have added to the entertainment.”

Slot was unable to speak to the press having been sent off, but in his absence, Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk said: “We all know this is their cup final and they will do everything in their power to try and win against us.

“I think Doucoure in the end wanted to provoke our fans from what I saw and Curtis didn’t think that was the right thing to do.

“Obviously, you know what happens when there is a little tussle, but I didn’t think the ref had the game under control, I said that to him.”

The controversial format was one of the raunchiest dating shows on screens across the UK and America.

It saw a group of women aged between 40 and 60 take up residence in a giant mansion, fitted out with TV cameras.

While there, the ‘milfs’ are introduced to a group of young men – which turned out to be their very own sons.

In toe-curling scenes they’d hook up with each other’s sons and even have to sleep in the same bedroom.

An insider said: “Milf Manor got everyone talking across both series with its draw-dropping scenes.

“It’s a shock factor format that wouldn’t be made in the UK with British contestants and did raise eyebrows with critics.

“While fans wanted a third series, it wasn’t filmed last year and there are no plans right now for it.

“It could return in the future, but for now the manor has been closed.”

The Sun has contacted Discovery+ and WBD.

Milf Manor’s second series aired last April and saw the hunky fathers of the young men introduced in a dramatic twist.

In a stunning, lakefront chalet, the MILFs participate in a series of activities to win dates with the love interest they have their eyes on.

From relay races to mud wrestling, the singles compete for one-on-one time to further their romantic connections.

There are shocking new arrivals, startling secrets, surprise exits and countless emotional entanglements throughout each series.
