Who is Mandy Moore’s husband Taylor Goldsmith?

THREE years after her rocky seven-year relationship with Ryan Adams came to an end, Mandy Moore married folk rock singer-songwriter Taylor Goldsmith.

A number of Mandy’s family members were caught up the 2025 LA wildfires — with her own home escaping the flames by mere metres.

In January 2025, Mandy Moore told trolls to “F*** off” after setting up a GoFundMe page to help her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, who lost their home in the LA wildfires.

Despite losing part of her own home, she faced criticism online, with some accusing her of not doing enough to help her own family financially.

Mandy posted on Instagram: “People questioning whether we’re helping out our own family or attributing some arbitrary amount of money Google says someone has is NOT helpful or empathetic.

“Of course we are. Our buddy Matt started this GoFundMe, and I’m sharing because people have asked how they can help them.

“We just lost most of our life in a fire too. Kindly F OFF. No one is forcing you to do anything.”

Then the following month, after the devastating Eaton fire in Altadena that destroyed her in-laws’ home, Mandy criticised Amazon for delivering a package to the levelled residence.

Show rote on Instagram stories along with a picture of the package amid the debris: “Do better, Amazon.

“Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists?

“This is my mother and father in law’s home. Smh.”

Amazon has since apologised, stating that the company was investigating the incident.

Who is Taylor Goldsmith?

Taylor Goldsmith is the lead vocalist, guitarist and chief songwriter in the band Dawes.

He was born and raised in Southern California in a musical family and his father, Lenny Goldsmith, was the lead singer of the R&B band Tower Of Power.

Taylor attended Malibu High School, where he formed a punk rock band with one of his friends.

He later went on to form the indie band Dawes and has written numerous songs about his wife Mandy.

“I took a picture of [Dawes] album and posted it on Instagram. Somehow, Taylor saw it and sent a note to me

Taylor penned Dawes’ track Never Gonna Say Goodbye while he was on tour in Detroit, Michigan — he initially didn’t want to share the track, wanting only Mandy to hear it.

In 2018, he told the Blue Grass Situation: “That is the most sacred, private world that I would never dream of wanting any access to.

“So for me, I was like, ‘Man, this is a very vulnerable moment for me, to say ‘I love you and I miss you’.

“It was just a quick thing and I didn’t really want everyone to be eavesdropping, you know?”

Marriage

Taylor and Mandy got married in 2018 after meeting on Instagram.

Mandy was an avid fan of Dawes and posted a picture of one of the band’s albums to her Instagram page, writing: “Real excited about this one.

“Have a feeling it’s going to be the soundtrack of my summer.”

Taylor messaged Mandy after seeing the picture, and the latter told People in 2017: “I took a picture of their album and posted it on Instagram. Somehow, Taylor saw it and sent a note to me.

“We started emailing back and forth, then we went on a date and the rest is history. Thanks Instagram, for helping me meet my fiancé!”

The couple got engaged in September 2017 and were married a year later in an intimate backyard wedding at Mandy’s home with about 50 friends and family in attendance.

Mandy and Taylor’s kids

Mandy and Taylor have three children together — two boys and a girl.

They welcomed their first son August “Gus” Harrison on February 20, 2021.

Mandy revealed the news on social media, posting: “Gus is here. Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith.

“He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents.

“We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined.”

The couple announced they were expecting their second child in an Instagram post on June 3, 2022.

“One incredibly seminal chapter of my life just ended and the next one, as a mother of two, is about to start… and are we ever so deeply grateful and excited,” Moore wrote.

“Baby Boy Goldsmith #2 coming this fall! Tour is gonna be slightly different than I expected but I can’t wait and Gus is gonna be the BEST big brother!! Xo.”

While the exact date of birth for son number two — Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett Goldsmith — hasn’t been reported, on October 21, 2022, Mandy posted a sweet snap of herself with her newborn on Instagram.

She captioned it: “Ozzie is here! Oscar Bennett Goldsmith arrived a little late but with much aplomb (and an easier/speedier delivery than his big brother, much to the delight of his parents).

“Every adage is true: our hearts have doubled in size and the immediacy of the love is astounding.

“He is beyond words and we are so grateful for our family of four!”

The couple’s third child and first daughter — Louise “Lou” Everett Goldsmith — followed on September 25, 2025.

Mandy took to social media to write: “Louise Everett Goldsmith arrived happy, healthy, expeditiously and right in time for Virgo season.

What is Taylor Goldsmith’s band?

Taylor is the lead vocalist and guitarist in Dawes alongside his younger brother, Griffin, who plays the drums, Wylie Gelber on bass, and Lee Pardini playing keyboards.

In 2013, the band went on tour with Bob Dylan, one of Taylor’s biggest inspirations.

Taylor’s wife Mandy featured in The Dawes’ music video for Roll With the Punches.

I was on Masterchef and there’s an IKEA buy that’s JUST as good as any Le Creuset – and here’s what else you need to bag

Hope landed a place in the quarter finals

Now, Hope shares her favourite recipes and foodie buys on social media to help teach others how to cook.

In a recent video, the chef shared her top buys from Ikea, adding: “I’m a firm believer that for the very basics in your kitchen, you don’t need to spend lots of money.”

Hope recommended the sieve and colanders from the Ikea marketplace to kick things off.

She also recommended the Ikea cast iron pot which costs £59 – a massive saving compared to Le Creuset.

“The cast irons here are a very good alternative, plus £59 versus about £400, you’re quids in,” she added.

Hope was also a huge fan of the chopping boards at Ikea, which are made of solid wood, and can also be used as serving boards for guests.

In terms of baking essentials, the foodie recommended cooling racks and dough cutters.

She also swore by the sandwich bags for storing leftover foods adding: “I don’t think it’s any secret that the sandwich bags here are just perfect.”

Collapsible food storage boxes are also essential for Hope to use as a lunchbox, as well as Ikea’s glass jugs, which are perfect for serving fresh juice or pre-made cocktails. They are just £9 each.

Last but not least, Hope recommended grabbing a pair of Ikea’s small wooden tongs for the toaster.

The clip was posted to Hope’s TikTok account @toastwithhope and went viral with over 66k views and 3,900 likes.

People were quick to take to the comments of the clip, thanking Hope for sharing her top buys.

One person wrote: “Saw this pop up and thought ‘Yay Hope’s doing an IKEA top buys!’ Brilliant and so helpful! Love this thank you so much!”

Top kitchen trends for 2025

Josie Medved, Design Manager for Symphony Group, has shared her insights on what she predicts will be big news for 2025.

Matt finishes

In 2025, the focus shifts to more matt textures, which offer a sleek, sophisticated look that complements modern kitchen designs. A matt finish is low-maintenance, perfect for families and busy lifestyles.

Textured cabinets

Surfaces with a textured finish have become increasingly popular this year and 2025 will see them adding visual interest, feature focal points and even sound absorption in the kitchen. Ribbed effects will be particularly on trend.

Pocket doors

When entertaining in an open-plan space, it’s nice to hide away all the cooking clutter and washing-up without having to leave the kitchen. Pocket doors are space-saving and flexible for different needs.

Caramel colours

After the recent surge of interest in yellow kitchens, Caramel cabinetry is the next colour trend that is set to be a huge hit in 2025. Adding warmth and lightness to a space with limited natural light, this tone is uplifting and inviting, and it looks super-glam when teamed with contrasting Black.

Mix and match

Whether it’s to create a statement look in an otherwise neutral scheme or simply to introduce two favourite colours to the kitchen, taking a mix and match approach is set to be the look in 2025. For an eye-catching design, grey or white cabinets around the room are the perfect complement to a standout island in a more daring shade such as Dusky Pink or Hunter Green.

Another commented: “Ikea stainless steel pans are elite. I’m a professional chef & I always use them myself & always recommend them.”

“Loveeee this Hope! Off I go,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “Well, that’s my plans for the weekend sorted.”

“Now I need an Ikea trip,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Ooh I’m getting that chopping board.”

Woman who tried & failed 8 TIMES to get asylum is granted right to stay in UK after joining TERROR GROUP to boost claim

A WOMAN who tried and failed eight times to get asylum has been granted the right to stay in the UK after joining a terror group to boost her claim.

Upper tribunal judge Gemma Loughran who gave the 49-year-old Nigerian the right to stay, acknowledged she was being dishonest about her political beliefs.

The judge said she became involved with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IOPB) only “in order to create a claim for asylum”.

The woman came to the UK in 2011 and joined the separatist group in 2017, reports The Daily Telegraph, which has seen court documents relating to the case.

IOPB has been blamed for acts of violence against the Nigerian state, where it has been banned as a terrorist organisation – but it’s not proscribed in Britain.

Ms Loughran said the asylum seeker’s involvement with the group meant she had a “well-founded fear of persecution” under human rights laws.

The woman had submitted multiple appeals after her right to remain in the UK was rejected over a 10-year period – this included claims she was a trafficking victim.

PAEDO AVOIDS DEPORTATION

It comes after a paedophile dad jailed for child sex offences escaped deportation to Pakistan after a UK judge ruled it would be “unduly harsh” on his two toddlers.

The unnamed father, who was granted anonymity by an immigration court, had been banned from living with his kids after attempting to solicit three “barely pubescent” girls for sex.

He was jailed for 18 months. A lower tribunal judge, however, ruled he should not be deported back to his homeland due to the impact on his own children.

The Home Office has appealed against the decision made under article eight of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Meanwhile, the topic of asylum seekers dominated Prime Minister’s Questions yesterday, with Sir Keir Starmer vowing to close a “legal loophole” that enabled a Gaza family to remain in the country.

The Home Office had rejected their appeal to stay with their brother, who lives in the UK, after they submitted it through the Ukraine Family Scheme.

It was denied by lower-tier immigration judge Joanne Oxlade because the family were not from Ukraine.

But, higher-tier judge Hugo Norton-Taylor ruled this was a breach of the family’s human rights – despite being warned against it by the Home Office.

He said the family were in an “extreme and life threatening” situation which outweighed the “public interest”.

The PM declared “it should be the Government that makes policy” after a judge ruled the six Palestinians could stay in the country using a refugee scheme established for Ukrainians.

At a packed out PMQs Sir Keir said: “I do not agree with the decision.

“It’s the wrong decision.”

The PM added: “Let me be clear, it should be Parliament that makes the rules on immigration.

“It should be the Government that makes the policy, that is the principle, and the Home Secretary is already looking at the legal loophole which we need to close in this particular case.”

Sir Keir humiliated Kemi Badenoch as he pointed out that the decision was taken under the previous Tory government.

Responding to demands from Ms Badenoch to slam the ruling, the PM replied: “She hasn’t quite done her homework, because the decision in question was taken under the last government according to the legal framework for the last government.”

Grilling Sir Keir on the issue, the Tory leader declared Britain cannot “allow enormous numbers of people to exploit our laws”.

She said: “There are millions of people all around the world in terrible situations.

“We cannot help them all, and we certainly cannot bring them all here.”

Politicians expressed outrage today after it emerged a mother, father and their four children could stay in the UK using the Ukraine Family Scheme.

An initial application by the family was refused by the Home Office in May last year.

But in September an immigration tribunal ruled in favour of the Gazans, who claimed under the European Court of Human Rights that they had a “right to a family life” with the father’s brother, who is a UK citizen.

The Home Office insisted it contested the claim “vigorously”.

Sergeant who ‘pinned down & tried to kiss soldier, 19, before she took own life was promoted despite receiving sanction’

A SERGEANT who pinned down and tried to kiss a soldier before she took her own life was promoted despite being sanctioned, an inquest heard.

Royal Artillery Gunner Jaysley Beck was discovered dead at Larkhill Camp in Wiltshire on December 15, 2021.

She had allegedly been pinned down by a senior colleague[/caption]

The 19-year-old was allegedly targeted by a senior colleague, Battery Sergeant Major Michael Webber in July 2021.

An inquest heard how Jaysley had called another colleague in tears claiming Webber had pinned her down and tried to kiss her.

He received a minor sanction on his record but was still promoted to Warrant Officer 1 rank in May 2022.

The court was told Jaysley had filed a complaint but details of the offence were omitted and a “miscommunication” meant improper legal advice was given.

Webber confirmed he planned to leave the Army this April but refused to answer further questions.

But the hearing was told he had written a letter of apology to Jaysley describing his behaviour as “absolutely unacceptable”.

The alleged incident took place at an adventure training exercise at Thorney Island, near Emsworth in Hampshire.

Jaysley claimed Webber told her he was waiting for a moment for them to “be alone” then engaged in a drinking game.

She said he then grabbed her leg and tried to kiss her – despite her begging no, the court was told.

She then called her pal, Lance Bombardier Kirsty Davis, to tell her Webber was “trying to kiss her and she was trying to push him away, he was pinning her down”.

Lance Bombardier Davis said: “Jaysley was in tears, she was upset. I think she was just frightened at what was going on and she was crying, just a little bit.”

She told the hearing that Jaysley did not want to take the matter further so “nothing would happen to him or his job as she didn’t want to suffer any backlash from it”.

The colleague added: “Jaysley wasn’t happy with what had happened but if you are in the Army and a lower rank no-one will believe you, especially against a higher rank.

“She didn’t want to get into trouble or cause a drama.”

An Army service inquiry report said the incident was “possibly a factor that may have influenced her failure to report other events that happened subsequently”.

The inquest heard Jaysley was also subjected to an “intense period of unwelcome behaviour” from Bombardier Ryan Mason.

She received thousands of messages from him and described him as being “psychotic and possessive”.

In November alone – the month before Jaysley’s death – she received 3,600 messages from her senior colleague.

In one, he told her: “You’re amazing Jayse, I appreciate you so much, I love everything about you, even your flaws.

“I will always be there along for the ride with you, I have said it before but you’re stuck with me forever now. I love you x As a friend, I love you.”

Jaysley’s mum Leighann McCready told the court her daughter felt that Mason was “overstepping the mark of her friendliness” and was becoming a “creep”.

The Army report outlined three “contributory factors” to Jaysley’s death – including the “significant strain” of a sexual relationship with a married colleague in the last few weeks of her life.

It also said that family issues, including a bereavement, were possibly a factor, as well as the breakdown of a relationship in November 2021.

The third mentioned an “unhealthy approach to alcohol, with episodes of binge drinking”.

It added that Jaysley had no diagnosed mental health conditions and had not sought welfare support from anyone in the Army.

The inquest continues.

My husband is 30 years older & has a second wife who’s younger than me – I don’t mind, we all sleep in a bed together

A COMMITTED throuple have revealed their Valentine’s Day plans – from an aphrodisiac meal to spooning rotations.

Débora Peixoto, 31, and her husband Anderson Peixoto, 61, were happily wed for seven years before deciding to open up their marriage.

The trio officially wed in October 2023 and embarked on a ‘blissful honeymoon’ afterwards[/caption]

After meeting 28-year-old Luiza Marcato, they decided to invite her into the fold.

The trio has been together since 2023 and legally married in October 2024.

This unique ceremony was then followed by a blissful honeymoon for the triad.

They are now spending their first Valentine’s together after getting hitched.

Keen to showcase that their relationship is no different to any other, Débora shared an insight into their day-to-day lives, including their Valentine’s plans.

“We have reserved an entire restaurant exclusively for ourselves,” Débora told NeedToKnow.

“We worked with the chef directly and have created the menu to feature aphrodisiac dishes such as oysters, dark chocolate, and spices to elevate the evening.

“It will make the night even more special and boost the energy between the three of us.”

Débora explained that she and her partners prefer a private setting when they go out.

“We prefer environments where we can be ourselves without judgment or interruptions,” she said.

“Reserving a private space makes the celebration more meaningful and brings us closer.”

The trio sleep in the same bed and have their own spooning rotation.

“Usually, I’m in the middle, because I like to give and receive affection at the same time, but sometimes I just want to be the little spoon – especially on colder days,” said Débora, who hails from Brazil.

“The great thing about being in a throuple is the flexibility, everyone gets their turn.

“We’ve also adapted to a big bed so everyone has space, but I’ll admit it’s sometimes tricky.

What is polyamory?

Polyamory is the practice of having romantic relationships with more than one person at the same time, with the knowledge and consent of all parties.

It can refer to relationships where one person has multiple partners or spouses, or where all parties are in a relationship with each other, for example in a throuple.

According to You Gov, 6.8% of people in the UK have been in a polyamorous relationship.

“One pulls the blanket, another takes up too much room.

“We’ve even considered buying a custom-made, extra-large bed.”

She also broke down how she and her partners approach being intimate with each other.

“[Sexually speaking], I think things will happen naturally [on the day],” she explained.

“Our focus is more on enjoying each other’s company than planning every detail.”

Our love doesn’t need to fit into a box, what matters most is the meaning behind the gift, not the price.

Débora Peixoto

The trio will also exchange personalised gifts with a focus on “individuality” with a set budget of £270.

“Each of us contributes to making Valentine’s Day memorable, respecting individuality while celebrating the love we share,” Débora said.

“What matters is that everyone feels loved and valued, regardless of societal conventions.

“Our love doesn’t need to fit into a box, what matters most is the meaning behind the gift, not the price.

“Besides, we’ve got the special dinner together.”

Despite what people may say or think, the trio love their unusual dynamic.

“Some people find it amazing and say it’s inspiring to see a relationship with so much connection,” Débora added.

“Others don’t understand and end up criticising, but we’ve learned to ignore them.

“The most important thing is that we’re happy and in love, and that’s all that matters.

“We feel incredibly fulfilled, it’s not for everyone but it works wonderfully for us.

“We’re happy in our own way and that’s all that matters.”
