AN ANGRY man has revealed that he and his neighbour are in a petty tow-truck war.
It all started when his neighbour put a passive-aggressive note on his car, threatening to get his vehicle towed.

Bothered by the letter, the anonymous man took to social media to open up on his situation, leaving many totally stunned.
Posting on Reddit, on the r/mildlyinfuriating thread, the homeowner, who writes under the username @estunum, titled his post ‘My neighbour thinks they own the public street in front of their apartment.’
The man uploaded a picture of the abrupt note he received, which read: ‘Hello, I’ve noticed you park here a lot but sadly you don’t live in Apt 817 or 819.
‘We have cameras that state you don’t.’
The note then begged: ‘Please don’t park here anymore.
‘I will call [a] tow truck if I have to & show them you don’t live here! Thank you :)’
The Reddit user then opened up on their “petty war” with their neighbour, but admitted: “My car does technically encroach into the driveway ‘wings’ and that’ll get me a ticket.”
Despite this, the man confessed: “What’s hilarious is that their car, which is longer than mine, encroaches even more so I should give a tow truck company a call myself.
“Parking code here is you’re not to block the driveway, including the prolongation.”
Not only this, but the man also confirmed: “My small car technically doesn’t fit, and theirs definitely doesn’t, it blocks the driveway that I assume is theirs.
“I suspect they have gotten accustomed to that spot always being available due to its size, so me parking there has created an inconvenience of having to park somewhere besides right in front.”
Reddit users were left shocked by the sharp note – and many raced to the comments to express their thoughts.

One person said: “A surprising number of people seem to think they own the road in front of their home.”
Another agreed and added: “I worked in customer service for the local council. One of my colleagues had an 80 year old woman on the phone arguing with him about a man parking in front of her house.
“She just didn’t understand that we couldn’t do anything about it. He had to politely tell her that he’d explained it as much as he could and had to end the call.
“We had lots of those calls, and it was very frustrating.”
Whilst a third commented: “I’m a dispatcher and have to deal with that ALL THE TIME, especially with parking.
“If it isn’t blocking your driveway, the roadway, or touching your property then shut up.”

Meanwhile, many other Reddit users were eager to share their own neighbour war stories.
One user claimed: “My neighbour’s dogs go ape s*** when I walk my dog on the sidewalk in front of their house. They recently opened their doors and let the dogs out on me.
“And they followed and screamed at me, saying not to walk my dog on “their” side of the street!”

A second chimed in: “Have a lady in my neighbourhood that likes to put a trashy looking plywood sign that she spray painted “No parking in front of this house” during holidays.
“Every time people park there and she calls the cops and they show up and tell her she doesn’t own the street and people can park there.”
At the same time, another explained: “I have a neighbour who insists on parking in front of my place instead of theirs across the street down a couple houses. It’s so annoying.
“It’s because I have good lighting and cameras in front and he doesn’t. He gets all nasty if I mow out by his car and his car gets dirty. I mow a lot.”
