Fans fear Trent Alexander-Arnold has played last game for Liverpool after nasty injury in Champions League clash vs PSG
LIVERPOOL fans are worried that Trent Alexander-Arnold has played his last game for the club.
The Reds full-back, 26, limped off in the second half of Liverpool’s Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

Alexander-Arnold was impressive before being forced out of the contest with just under 20 minutes remaining.
Trailing 1-0, the England star attempted to slide tackle PSG midfielder Vitinha.
The ball was nipped away by the Brazilian, leaving Alexander-Arnold sliding awkwardly on the Anfield turf.
He appeared to tweak something in his left leg, with medical teams immediately dashing onto the field.
Alexander-Arnold was able to stand under his own steam but was swiftly replaced by Jarell Quansah.
One fan groaned on X: “Is that the last time we see Trent Alexander Arnold play for @LFC? Please no.”
Another said: “I won’t be surprised if Trent doesn’t play again this season, could even be his last Liverpool game.”
While a third added: “Trent was quality second half. Looked upset coming off, hopefully not the last time he plays at Anfield.”
Cheltenham Festival betting offers and free bets
And a fourth commented: “That was such a weird injury for Trent, gutted for him.”
Alexander-Arnold has been with his hometown club Liverpool since the age of six.
He made his debut in 2016 and has since become a firm fan favourite at the club.
But his contract is up in the summer, with no concrete signs yet he will sign a new deal.
Real Madrid were chasing the full-back in January, with Liverpool rebuffing the Spanish champions’ £20m bid.
Alexander-Arnold would be free to sign with the LaLiga giants in the summer if he doesn’t pen a new contract on Merseyside.
His teammates Mo Salah and Virgil Van Dijk are also yet to commit their future to Liverpool.
SunSport revealed last week that Madrid are keen to get Trent through the door BEFORE the Club World Cup in June.
That would require an agreement with Liverpool over a transfer fee for releasing TAA from his contract early.
Ancelotti’s side face Saudi‘s Al-Hilal in their first group game in Miami on June 18.
Why was grieving dad John Hunt robbed of the chance to condemn crossbow monster Kyle Clifford in person?
Face justice
WHY was grieving father John Hunt robbed of the opportunity to condemn crossbow monster Kyle Clifford in person?
“I so wanted to deliver these words eye to eye,” John told the court.

Why did our justice system not give him that right?
Why is it now routine for heinous murderers to cock one final snook at their victims’ families by refusing to attend trial or sentencing?
They should never have that power.
If they might disrupt proceedings, drag them into the dock, gagged if necessary.
The Tories intended to write such action into law but never did.
Labour aims to do so imminently, including approving “reasonable force”. Good.
Despite Mr Hunt’s unimaginable pain, his statement on the murders of his wife and daughters was brave, moving and immensely powerful.
He deserved for the odious Clifford to be forced to hear it.
A fine mess
HOW many genocidal Jew-hating Hamas supporters have we imported to roam our streets?
No one knows, least of all the Home Office.
But that is the key question after suspected Gazan extremist Abu Wadei arrived by small boat — and it took the Press to alert clueless officials.
Since 2018 more than 150,000 illegal migrants have now landed at Dover, 1.6 times the capacity of Wembley Stadium.
Just three per cent have been deported.
Some of that vast influx may make good citizens, even though they had no right to jump the queue.
What do we know of the rest — their true beliefs, motivations, even their real ages and nationalities?
Precious little.
Yet sickeningly the same inept Home Office to blame for this insanity — alongside successive Governments — fined a couple £1,500 for unwittingly bringing ONE migrant in, secretly clinging to the rear of their motorhome.
Who in Whitehall is paying the fines for letting 150,000 others land by dinghy?
Last orders
IT beggars belief that politicians would see pubs and brewers on the edge of the economic abyss . . . and shove them over.
But for some firms the looming “packaging tax” will prove the final straw.
It will hike beer prices for drinkers and diners — and fuel rising inflation.
Add that to the huge extra burden of a higher minimum wage and National Insurance contributions and you have a lethal cocktail for skint businesses already staring down the barrel.
Last October’s tax-raising Budget has wreaked havoc on jobs even before its most damaging changes actually come into force next month.
This reckless “bevvy levy” is yet another ill-considered grab.
Think again, Chancellor.
Danny Jones & wife Georgia’s reunion was ‘awkward, tense’ and ‘uncomfortably contrived’, says body language expert
A BODY language expert has claimed Danny Jones’ recent reunion with wife Georgia was an “uncomfortably contrived” attempt to look united for the press.
The couple were seen together as they stepped out in West London for the first time since his ‘drunken Brits kiss’ with Maura Higgins.

McFly star Danny, 38, looked glum as the pair walked through a park in Richmond – but was pictured still wearing his wedding ring.
Body language expert Judi James told The Sun: “The body language here does seem to suggest a sense of awareness of the cameras, which in turn makes it look uncomfortably contrived rather than authentic.”
She explained that the awkwardness from Danny and Georgia suggests they are keen to signal to the press that they are together amid swirling rumours.
Although she says their united front is a million miles from the typical celebrity ‘denial’ outings, where couples tend to overcompensate by posing together in an unusually animated fashion.
Judi continued: “They look tense and dour here rather than happy, playful or relaxed.”

“Danny and Georgia here make little more than the subtler point that they are still on speaking terms and that Danny is still wearing his wedding ring, which is very much on display as he holds his cup.”
The pair had gone for low-key attire, Georgia dressed in brown leggings and a matching jacket with a slicked back bun and natural face.
Alongside his ring, Danny wore some black tracksuit bottoms, a black hoodie and green cap.
The Sun revealed how I’m A Celeb winner, Danny, and Maura, 34, appeared to have a brief drunken kiss at the Universal Brits after-party.
Later on that night, the pair stayed at a hotel until 6am sharing wine.
Danny and the Love Island star both appeared on ITV1’s I’m A Celebrity last year.
Danny’s wife, Georgia Horsley, gave Danny a “final warning” after the viral clip of her husband and Maura was revealed.
Turning back to the couple’s appearance during their tense walk, Judi said: “There’s no obvious attempt by Danny to create the impression that his tail is currently between his legs.
“His one signal of any hint of encouragement or anxiety comes from the glances he seems to be throwing in Georgia’s direction as they walk, in a face-checking ritual that suggests he might be trying to read her thoughts or her mood or encouraging her to chat with him.

“His shoulders do look slightly drooped or slumped here, suggesting low energy or enthusiasm but there’s no attempt to hug, touch or even smile at Georgia to offer any form of ego boost in the wake of all the stories.
“His hand nearest to her is stuffed into his pocket to hint at both a barrier to any touch plus a subliminal desire to hide.”
Georgia has not publicly addressed the headlining-hogging snog but has since returned to social media.
The model shared a black and white picture to Instagram of her and Danny’s son Cooper playing on a Nintendo games console.
Meanwhile, Maura has jetted over 5,000 miles away to California, keen to put some distance between herself and the shocking headlines.
Judi continued: “Georgia presents the polar opposite image to Maura’s high-viz, attention-seeking party girl look here.”
Judi said Maura appeared to be hanging on to Danny’s every word during their jungle experience and even in the controversial nightclub pictures.
Georgia meanwhile has opted for a more “practical” appearance in front of the paps.
Judi said: “There’s no sense of buckling up to compete here, her beauty comes fresh-faced and natural-looking rather than ‘Love Island’ glam.”
The body language pro notes that Georgia has kept her eyesight to the ground, rather than meeting Danny’s gaze.
The pained wife shows signs of “tension” and keeps her hand tucked into her jacket rather than using any excessive “tactile or linking behaviour.”
McFly's Danny Jones and wife Georgia Horsley - Love Story

MCFLY singer Danny Jones and his wife Georgia Horsley's romance is at the centre of attention after his 'drunken snog' with Love Island alum Maura Higgins. Yet when did they meet?
Danny began a relationship with model Georgia back in 2010.
He had been going out with his now-wife for four years when he proposed to her in Cyprus, in 2013.
They married the next August in her hometown in a ceremony which featured musical performances by McBusted and Ellie Goulding.
Danny and Georgia welcomed a new baby boy called Cooper Alf Jones on January 27, 2018.
Yet their romance was rocked in 2025 when Danny and Maura’s boozy 3am smooch at The BRITs was made public.
Senior aide to Labour’s Wes Streeting flashed terrified girl, 13, then followed her ‘leaving her scared to go out’
A SENIOR assistant to Wes Streeting exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl then followed her, The Sun can reveal.
The terrified teen banged on doors for help as Labour councillor and ex-parliamentary candidate Sam Gould, 33, pursued her.

The girl’s mum has said her daughter is now scared to leave the house.
The mother was stunned that sex pest Sam Gould cannot be sacked as a councillor despite pleading guilty to two counts of indecent exposure.
Her daughter was walking to meet friends on Saturday when she saw a man sitting in his car performing a sex act with his trousers down.
She ran away but the pervert got out and followed her into a cul-de-sac.
After seeing the teen banging on front doors for help, another motorist came to her rescue and took down the offender’s registration number.
Gould, a former Labour parliamentary candidate who is said to have gone on school visits with Mr Streeting, was tracked down by police and arrested later that day.
The mum dashed to her daughter after she called in tears, and said she has been left “traumatised” by the incident in Romford, East London.
She told The Sun last night: “She didn’t go to school yesterday and she doesn’t want to leave the house.
“The fact he’s been released on bail has caused her a lot more anxiety – she’s scared she might bump into him.”
She added: “If that member of the public hadn’t stepped in, I dread to think what might have happened.”
The mum of two revealed she was “gobsmacked” after learning Gould had been a senior caseworker for the Health Secretary.
She said of Gould, who has been suspended from the Labour Party: “We’re meant to be able to trust people in power. It’s worrying to know that he has worked with vulnerable people and school-aged children.”
Gould has resigned from Mr Streeting’s Ilford constituency office.
The horrified Health Secretary is understood to have sought to sack him immediately after hearing of his arrest, and again called for him to quit Redbridge Council.
He said last night: “There are no words to express my horror that a mother and her daughter have been put through this ordeal, and will have to deal with the trauma of it for some time to come.
“As soon as I was made aware of his arrest he was suspended, and as soon as the guilty plea was entered I took immediate steps to sack him through official HR processes.
“There are no excuses for his appalling behaviour. I am calling for him again to resign as a Redbridge councillor immediately.”
Red tape means local authorities do not have the power to sack councillors for breaching their code of conduct. The victim’s mum said: “The system is flawed.
“It’s disgusting that councillors can’t be suspended for committing a criminal offence.

“He shouldn’t be given the choice to resign. He’s admitted it, he should be sacked.”
Gould joined Mr Streeting’s office in 2019, and was a senior caseworker, helping his boss in several of his parliamentary roles, including Shadow Minister for Schools.
A colleague who worked with Gould said they felt like they had been “punched in the stomach”. They told The Sun: “We are all just shell-shocked. He was affable, he was friendly, I trusted him.”
They added: “I’ve been in the car with him alone.
“He wasn’t just a senior caseworker – he was an office manager.
“He went on school visits with Wes. He was someone I considered a friend – everyone considered him a friend.”
The Met Police charged Gould with two counts of indecent exposure on Sunday after linking him to a second flashing incident involving a 25-year-old woman in Hornchurch last month.
He pleaded guilty to both counts at Barkingside magistrates court the next day and was released on bail until sentencing next month.
However, the teen victim’s mum feels that the incident with her daughter has been downplayed.
Nowhere in any of the statements does it state that one of the victims was a child.
Victim's mum
She said: “Nowhere in any of the statements does it state that one of the victims was a child.
“It just says there were two incidents of indecent exposure.
“It is so frustrating because it makes it sound as though he’s just flashed. But it was more than that. The fact is that my daughter is a vulnerable 13-year-old child. He exposed himself to her and then followed her.
“The real question for me is, ‘What were his intentions? Why did he not just drive off? Why did he then get out of his vehicle to pursue her?’ That’s what keeps playing on my mind.”
The mum, who The Sun is not naming, fears he will be given a “slap on the wrist”.
She said: “I think they should throw the book at him. If he gets away with it, other people aren’t going to be deterred from doing the same thing. I want to protect other kids.”
Gould, who has a degree in political science from Essex University, unsuccessfully ran to be an MP in Romford in 2015, when he was one of the youngest parliamentary candidates in the country.
In a profile on his former college website he boasted of helping hundreds of people through his work with the Labour Party.
He said: “It may be a cliché, but I got involved in politics because I wanted to make a positive difference. I see politics as the most effective way to do this.”
He said he had run several campaigns, including a “back to school week that sought to bring former state-school students back into their former schools to inspire today’s young people”.
I am shocked and appalled by the actions that have come to light over the weekend of Councillor Gould.
Leader of the Council Kam Rai
Redbridge Council said it was “deeply disturbed” by his arrest and has taken “immediate steps” to ensure Gould does not have access to its systems.
Leader of the Council Kam Rai also called on Gould to resign, accusing him of “betrayal”.
He said: “I am shocked and appalled by the actions that have come to light over the weekend of Councillor Gould.
“As soon as Mr Gould’s arrest was communicated over the weekend, he was rightly suspended by the Party. Unfortunately there is no process for his suspension from the Council. My heart goes out to the victims who have had to endure his despicable behaviour.
“Redbridge Council will continue to work closely with the police to support their investigation, and I would like to personally thank them for their immediate and timely action.
“Following the inexcusable betrayal of his residents, the Council, and our wider community, it is only right that Mr Gould immediately resign as a councillor and face justice.”
Gould was given conditional bail by the judge until he appears at Barkingside magistrates’ court for sentence on April 7.
In the meantime, he is not allowed to sit in the front seat of any vehicle, and must also spend each night at the same address.
Nando’s puts ‘secret’ item on all UK menus for first time and diners will be thrilled
NANDO’S has put a previously secret item on all of its UK menus for the first time ever.
The beloved chicken restaurant chain has announced one of its new dishes would be accompanied by a “secret sauce”.

Nando’s Extra Saucy Wings launched today across all UK restaurants and they are available for both eat-in and delivery.
Accompanying the wings is the PERi-Flamer, a sauce that had previously only been available to those who knew to ask for it.
The off-menu item has developed a cult following in recent years, with the most diehard fans asking for it on their go-to orders.
PERi-Tamer and Hot sauces combine to make the “sweet, smoky and spicy” PERi-Flamer sauce.
Now, the restaurant chain is adding it to its menus with its all-new Extra Saucy Wings.
The new dish is available with three, five or even ten flame-grilled chicken wings covered in the PERi-Flamer sauce and drizzled with a “creamy” yoghurt dressing.
Diners can grab the dish at their nearest Nando’s and can also enjoy the new item for free on Nando’s Rewards.
A spokesperson for the chain said: “Nando’s just got even saucier with the launch of Extra Saucy Wings.
“The new menu items is made with PERi-Flamer, a secret sauce that’s only been available to those who know to ask for it.
“Extra Saucy Wings launch in all UK & Ireland restaurants today and will be available to Eat-in, Collect and on Nando’s Delivery.
“Fans can also enjoy Extra Saucy Wings for free on Nando’s Rewards.”
This comes after the restaurant chain announced in January it was bringing back a fan-favourite menu item last seen four years ago.
Following a widespread outcry, Nando’s decided to bring back its famous Creamy Salad Dressing for the first time since 2021.
“You read that right – Creamy Salad Dressing is coming back to steal the hearts of the nation,” the chain said.
“With superfans promising they’ll ‘never stop asking’ – Nando’s is finally answering their daily demands, and the legendary sauce will be recoupling with all UK and Ireland restaurants on Tuesday February 4.”
According to Nando’s there’s been “uproar” since the sauce was removed and fans have long demanded its return.
Why is everyone obsessed with Nando's?
Nando’s has indeed cultivated a significant fanbase and cultural presence, particularly in countries like the UK. Here, we reveal a few reasons as to why…
Unique and Flavorful Food
Nando’s is renowned for its peri-peri chicken, which is marinated for 24 hours and flame-grilled to perfection.
The peri-peri sauce offers a distinctive and spicy flavour that sets it apart from other fast-casual dining options.
Creating your own Experience
Customers can tailor their meals to their spice tolerance and taste preferences with Nando’s range of heat levels, from mild to extra hot. This level of customisation makes it appealing to a wide audience.
Consistent Quality
Nando’s has a reputation for maintaining high standards across its global locations. The consistency in the quality of food and service helps build a loyal customer base.
Casual yet Trendy Ambiance
The restaurant offers a relaxed dining environment that is both casual and stylish, making it a popular choice for various occasions, from family dinners to social outings with friends.
Healthy-ish Options
Compared to other fast-food chains, Nando’s offers relatively healthier options, with a focus on grilled chicken and a variety of sides, including salads and vegetables.
Nando’s said: “Comments have flooded Nando’s socials for years and fans even started a Change.org petition to save the much-loved icon.
“It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally time to put baby back in the corner sauce station.”
The popular restaurant has also teased further returns in 2025, though stopped short of revealing what those menu items could be.
It said: “And that’s not all, there’s more to come so fans should keep their eyes out for more saucy news about their one true love.”
