Chuggs and Tina have become the latest Love Island All Stars couple to be dumped from the villa. After receiving the most votes in a brutal game with their fellow Islanders, they then had the least votes from the public. Unfortunately, that was the end of their journey.
Whilst Tina seemed to set the record straight that they’re very much friends and nothing more, the villa is now full of couples who are progressing quickly. And nobody knows what the All Stars couples are really like better than those who were there. As they were dumped, Chuggs and Tina were asked their all important opinions.
So, here’s what Chuggs and Tina had to say about each couple on Love Island All Stars. Who do they actually think are real?
Ekin-Su and Curtis

via ITV
Both Tina and Chuggs saw good potential in Ekin-Su and Curtis, and think they could work. “I love them together,” Tina said. “He’s very calming to her and you get to see a different side to Ekin-Su because of Curtis. They’ve gone through their ups and downs and I think that’s made their journey what it is and you can’t have a smooth sailing journey always.”
Chuggs added Ekin had “really surprised” him with how she was in the villa. He said: “She’s a lot more sensitive and vulnerable than what you’d imagine and I genuinely think she does want to find someone to ‘do’ life with.
“Curtis is the biggest teddy bear ever, he’s very mature and he’s very ambitious with his work and really wants to go and do good things, so I think they’re a very mature couple. I think they have a good chance of staying together on the outside, as long as there’s no major work distractions from both of them.”
Catherine and Omar

via ITV
Up next, they were asked about Catherine and Omar. Tina said Catherine was “waiting for a Prince to walk through the door, she didn’t have someone before and then Omar arrived and they’re really lovely and really sweet together.”
Chuggs added: “Chatting to both of them they’ve not given me any reason to doubt them – Omar said how lucky he is to go in there and find a connection with someone. Catherine’s heart was open to finding the right person so I think they crossed each other’s paths at the right time and they’re very sweet with each other in the villa, always cuddling!”
Harriett and Ronnie

via ITV
We’ve all seen how much effort Ronnie has put in to making his relationship with Harriett work a second time around. Tina said he “really pulled his socks up and was a changed man and he would do anything for that girl.”
Chuggs agreed, and said Ronnie has “worked really hard to show Harriett that he still cares and loves her and I believe he does.”
He wasn’t as positive about Harriett. Chuggs added: “I’m sure Harriett loves him too but she has made him grovel a bit more than she maybe needed to. She could give him a bit of open love in front of everyone – she could do a bit more for him rather than him bending over backwards for her. Now she’s set on him, she could reciprocate the attention a bit.”
Elma and Sammy

via ITV
Both Tina and Chuggs love Elma and Sammy! Tina called them “such a good match” and said they “bounce off each other”, whilst Chuggs called them “very sweet” and “very genuine.”
“Sammy’s a really cool guy and considering he’s only 23 he’s definitely got a mature head on him,” Chuggs said. “Elma is so much fun so who knows.”
However he did note it might not be all smooth for them. Chuggs added: “The only thing is the age gap may become an issue.”
Grace and Luca

via ITV
We’ve been on a whirlwind journey will Grace and Luca. Tina said: “They’re so lovey dovey and I’m here for it! Grace can put him in his place and Luca’s so emotional with her and seeing them together is so lovely.”
Chuggs said: “Luca’s an absolute gem, I think they’re the best looking couple in there, maybe in Love Island history! Grace is the person I spent the least amount of time with, but Luca is someone I spent the most time with.”
Again, Chuggs was straight to point out they’re definitely not perfect. “We voted for them in the To Be Honest challenge as boring because they’re literally with each other all of the time. She’s always sitting in his lap and he’s always pandering over her,” he said. Ouch.
Gabby and Casey

via ITV
People have been questioning Casey’s real motives on Love Island, but Tina and Chuggs seem to think despite this, they’re a very strong All Stars couple.
“Just love them both,” Tina said. “Watching them change and grow with each other was great. Gabby can be self conscious in some ways and seeing her grow with Casey and looking at where they’re at now, it’s amazing.”
Chuggs added: “Casey has been on a journey with his Love Island stints, he’s a massive personality, oozes energy and someone like Gabby has come in and allowed him to explore that softer side of himself and really open up, which is really sweet – especially as a friend to watch and witness.
“What’s so cool about Gabby, when there are dramas or fights in the girls’ room she just removes herself and doesn’t even bother getting involved, which I know Casey finds really attractive. All of Casey’s quirks Gabby puts up with and supports and finds endearing, so that’s very sweet. And I think they’re a very active couple. They both have similar interests and I think they’re gonna have a lot of fun together on the outside.”
