Coronation Street’s Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) continues to push his loved ones away as he struggles with his ongoing cancer treatment

The Weatherfield mechanic was diagnosed with the disease earlier this year, and in recent weeks, his marriage to Abi Webster (Sally Carman) has come under strain, while he has blown up at long-time friend Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) and son Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes).

Then on Friday, Kevin locked horns with his pal and co-worker Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) over whose offspring is the worst behaved and who is leading who astray.

But things take a turn for the worse next week, as Kevin also takes another vicious pop at Tyrone.

With relations between Jack and Kevin still strained, Kevin heads to the Rovers, where Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) is unsure about serving him.

He snaps at Glenda before then rounding on Tyrone, who turns the tables. When Tyrone brands Kevin nasty and selfish, Kevin sees red.

Later, Abi is furious when she realises how Kevin has been behaving and is then further shocked when he verbally lashes out at her making a series of cruel remarks.

Abi seeks out Tyrone at the garage where the pair discuss Kevin’s behaviour and how he seems to be going out of his way to make them hate him.

With that in mind, Tyrone then calls at No.13 and urges Kevin to stop bottling up his fears and to talk to Abi.

But as fans know, it looks like the damage to their marriage is only set to get worse, as Abi will soon cheat on Kevin – with none other than his own brother!

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday 7 April at 8pm on ITV1 or stream first from 7am on ITVX.
