Cristiano Ronaldo is the top Saudi Pro League earner and his cash dwarfs one African star who bags R19.7 million a WEEK. Not too shabby.
Cristiano Ronaldo taking home obscene amounts in Saudi
40-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo’s gross earnings look a bit like £3.28 million a week in the cash-rich Saudi Pro League. Shame, a huge chunk of that will be taken away in the form of taxes. However, a gross figure of R75.7 million a week is, well, pretty damn gross. He earns exactly double the next-best earners, former PSG and Barcelona superstar winger Neymar and Real Madrid icon Karim Benzema. The top African earner is former Man City star Riyadh Mahrez. The Algerian is bagging £854.9k a week. Via GiveMeSport:

Qhogi claims perennial champions Sundowns made a concerted effort to sign the winger, making a tempting offer to the School of Excellence. Despite that, Mofokeng had already committed to Orlando Pirates.
