As Dancing On Ice 2025 heats up, the ice has melted for yet another couple, as our fifth skating star has been eliminated.
Tonight, the dreaded skate-off returned once more as Charlie Brooks and Anton Ferdinand had to fight for their place in the competition.
Unfortunately, time was up for Charlie, meaning the soap icon was knocked out of the running to lift this year’s trophy, much to the rage of viewers who declared she had been ‘robbed’.
All four judges – Oti Mabuse, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean – all voted to same retired footballer Anton, making it a clean sweep.
Taking to X to express their anger, Cafi2k accused the programme of being ‘rigged against women’.
‘This series has been potentially the worst I have ever seen. So many surprising scores, contradicting comments, sending the best skaters home.. honestly it has been difficult to watch’, blasted LauraM01234.

Fellow Charlie fan hopalongcassell wrote: ‘i am SO sorry my girl you were so robbed’.
Elimination number five comes after a series of shocking exits from Dancing On Ice so far.
The first celeb to get the chop was Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey, leaving viewers to brand the show ‘abysmal’ out of rage.
Things only went from bad to worse for fans of the long-running ITV programme the following week, as Towie alum Ferne McCann was second to be shown the door.
In week three, Olympic rowing legend Sir Steve Redgrave received the fewest public votes, which, when combined with his judges’ scores, meant he had lost his place in the competition.
Audiences were divided again just one week later, however, as former Love Islander Chris Taylor was axed despite being deemed one of the lineup’s ‘best skaters.’
But that isn’t all that’s kept Dancing On Ice 2025 on its toes, as comedian Josh Jones was forced to withdraw after sustaining an injury.
The funny man twisted his ankle during rehearsals, leaving him with no other option but to bow out after only one performance.
Shortly after, pro skater Vanessa Bauer revealed that she, too, had become injured, meaning the German champion was forced to quit and had to be replaced.
Just days later, Eric Radford, a Canadian ice skating pro, announced that he was unable to perform as well, meaning Brendyn Hatfield had to fill his place and skate with EastEnders’ queen Charlie.
Remaining celebrities in this year’s show include reality star Dan Edgar, The Traitors finalist Mollie Pearce, Corrie’s Sam Aston, and presenter Michaela Strachan.
Dancing On Ice airs Sundays on ITV1 and ITVX.
