The University of Edinburgh has been named one of the most reputable universities in the UK, placing 5th among Russell Group universities and 30th worldwide, maintaining its position among the top of the global rankings.
Oxford (2nd) and Cambridge (4th) maintained their long-standing positions at the top of the rankings, while Imperial College London (14th) and UCL (25th) also ranked among the top five UK universities on the list.
The Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings are based on a survey of over 55,000 academics worldwide, who were asked to identify institutions they believe have the strongest global reputation and prestige.
Edinburgh University ranked higher than other Russell Group universities, including the London School of Economics (36th), King’s College London (42nd), the University of Manchester (50th), the University of Bristol (68th), and the University of Warwick (98th).
Edinburgh has consistently ranked among the world’s top universities in the World Reputation Rankings, maintaining its spot within the top 30 globally.
