Heartbreak is a common factor in the soaps next week, as confirmed in my brand new spoilers, with villages and squares coming together to mourn the tragic loss of loved ones.
EastEnders deals with the fallout of the 40th anniversary week spectacular, which saw Martin Fowler tragically die in the arms of one true love Stacey Slater.
This, coupled with Grant Mitchell’s comeback, sends shockwaves through the Square as Walford changes forever in the aftermath of what’s happened.
Over in Emmerdale, the demise of those involved in the limo crash leaves the village in mourning, as a vigil is held in their memory.
Coronation Street, meanwhile, sees Daisy Midgeley contemplate a future away from the cobbles while Hollyoaks’ Lucas Hay makes a discovery and Neighbours’ Sadie Roswell vanishes.
It’s an emotional week to come and I’ve got a first look at it all, with new spoilers to tide you over until Monday.
EastEnders
1. A new dawn beckons on Albert Square as the community attempts to process the events of the previous day – and the enormity of what unfolded. Emotions run high as Walford adjusts to its new normal, with the community spirit in full force as the residents come together to support one another.
2. The tension between Grant and Nigel continues to mount following recent events and Grant finds himself facing plenty of criticism over his actions. However, he gets some words of wisdom from an unlikely source. Nigel, meanwhile, reveals his dementia diagnosis, leaving Grant in shock as he seeks solace from the only person he believes will help him.
3. Denise and her new partner agree to tell their families about their relationship.
4. One clan finds themselves looking for help from their friends and neighbours and are warmed by a welcome from a kind local.

5. The residents gather at Harry’s Barn for a sombre occasion but, with grief consuming the locals, the evening in question proves the catalyst for more drama to come.
6. A Walford resident confides a massive secret to a friend – only to realise they’ve been overheard!
Coronation Street
7. Daisy reveals to Jenny that she’s been offered a job in Paris and, in subsequent scenes, she confirms who the father of her unborn baby is. The question is: is it Daniel or Kit?
8. Carla returns home from the hospital to find Ryan and Betsy celebrating her comeback – but there is no sign of Lisa.
9. When Betsy overhears Dylan claiming that he’s going to get sent down, she urges him to stay positive, assuring him that she’ll visit him in prison. Betsy leans in for a kiss and Dylan kisses her back.
10. Having spent the night with the guy he met at the tea dance, Todd bumps into Julie in the hotel reception. Why is Julie back?
11. Cassie continues to use Ken’s money to buy things, including two designer juicers. Ken closes his eyes but, when Cassie nips out, he opens them. Is he finally starting to see through her? That remains to be seen but he later collapses in pain.

12. At the STC, Daniel checks in on Dylan. A lad named Brody clocks their exchange and questions Dylan, who reveals that Daniel used to be a neighbour. Brody reckons he’s better of keeping that to himself. After Dylan gets a hard time, Brody intervenes and sends the bullies packing, telling Dylan to stick with him until he finds his feet.
Emmerdale
13. The villagers gather for a vigil after last week’s devastating limo crash.
14. A crisis meeting is called between the co-conspirators over Anthony’s demise as word of Caleb’s attempt to frame Cain gets around. One of them suggests going to the police which leaves the others concerned, fearful that the whole thing is going to be exposed. Steph, meanwhile, is determined to find out what everyone is hiding.
15. Kim is determined to find out what’s going on with Joe as she checks the CCTV footage – but a guest arrives at Home Farm. The person in question reveals their suspicions but Kim is adamant that Joe is innocent. Kim, however, is soon left suspicious herself. Ross, meanwhile, grabs and threatens Joe, trapping him in a barn where his condition worsens.

16. April wants to register the birth of her stillborn baby and she surprises her family when she admits that she wants to go back to school.
17. Noah has a potentially incriminating flashback to the night of the limo crash.
Hollyoaks
18. Ste is convinced that Jez had something to do with cat Fernando’s disappearance and he confides his fears in John Paul. After some digging at the allotment, where Jez had disposed of Dilly’s body, he uncovers a watch belonging to Abe. Is serial killer Jez’s comeuppance just around the corner?
19. Nancy tells Darren that she knows all about Kat and claims that there is no way back for them after this. Can Darren convince Nancy that he’s telling the truth?

20. Frankie moves out of Basswood Road and in with Lucas and Dillon at Weirside view. Lucas cleans up in the wake of a party and is unnerved to find a spice vape, with Dillon and Frankie admitting that they used it. Before he can process such a thing, Rex arrives and demands that some bags be stored on the property, with Lucas horrified to realise that Rex owns the property they’re now living in.
21. Grace admits to Freddie that she got herself shot at Christmas to try and save their relationship as the fallout of his affair with Vicky sends shockwaves.
Neighbours
22. Max’s paranoia that Carter is coming for him reaches breaking point as he begs Andrew to help him find out. While waiting on an update, Max resolves to protect Sadie and Holly by staying home while they go out. However, things take a turn – someone has been watching them from afar and later one of Carter’s henchmen closes in on who he thinks is Max’s girlfriend actually is – with Sadie subsequently vanishing!

23. Desperate to reconnect with her beau, Krista decides to make a grand gesture in the hope of showing Leo just how much they mean to each other. Fallon agrees to help, but secretly she doesn’t follow through.
24. Roxy’s first shift at Eirini Rising couldn’t go smoother as she effortlessly soothes an altercation with Moira. Roxy reveals she’s been looking for a challenge and thus Terese assures her she’s in the right place.
25. Jane admits defeat following her school suspension, much to the disappointment of Aaron, Byron and Clint. Hoping to cheer her up, they look to set up a romantic dinner with Clint for her, but it soon becomes apparent that it’s not actually the suspension that’s bothering Jane but rather her falling out with Terese.
