Emmerdale murder twist as EastEnders affair confirmed in 25 new soap spoilers

With unexpected comebacks and secrets set to emerge, the soaps serve up the high drama next week, as confirmed in my brand new batch of spoilers.

EastEnders deals with the fallout of Zack Hudson’s discovery that Barney Mitchell is his biological son while Harvey Monroe seeks support from Kathy Beale.

Over in Emmerdale, Caleb Miligan and Ruby Fox-Miligan are on tenterhooks as Steph continues to dig into grandad Anthony’s vanishing, with unexpected discoveries made.

Hollyoaks, meanwhile, sees Lucas Hay determined to move on in the wake of his split with Dillon Ray but doing so proves more difficult than he expected, with Rex Gallagher catching Ste’s eye once again.

Coronation Street sees the return of Rob Donovan and Neighbours stalwarts Karl and Susan Kennedy arrive back in Ramsay Street.

It’s going to be quite a week, that’s for sure, so let’s take a look at every twist, turn and plot development that you’ve got to look forward to.

EastEnders

1. Nicola calls Zack to Harry’s Barn as the pressure continues to build. Later, in a last minute attempt to avoid her secret from exploding, she books a trip for the family to Spain – but Teddy refuses to attend. Sharon, meanwhile, seeks Nicola out as a showdown ensues between the feuding foes in front of Barney, Harry and Teddy. But will the matriarchs’ secrets be exposed?

2. Harvey gets the cold shoulder from Jean, who repeatedly shuts down his offers to help. He opens up to Kathy and, as they grow closer, the pair share another kiss.

3. Kat is spooked by Tommy’s online friend and, as she attempts to read the messages between the two, she pleads with Alfie to have a word with their son, who subsequently reveals all.

4. Sonia is struggling in the wake of recent events, with Bianca determined to help as the subject of Reiss’ funeral is raised. Debbie’s mum Brenda soon arrives and she and Sonia have a heart-to-heart.

5. Kathy hosts an event in the cafe to encourage the men of Walford to open up about their feelings in the wake of Martin’s tragic death.

6. Lily opens up to Tommy about her own feelings of loneliness.

Emmerdale

7. Steph is left suspicious when she hears from a friend of Anthony’s, who was expecting him to visit. Knowing Ruby and Caleb are hiding something, Steph begins to snoop and finds a gun, believing it to be involved in her granddad’s disappearance. Caleb claims the gun was for use against Cain – not Anthony. Ruby fears time is running out and she and Caleb are left reeling to learn of Steph’s intentions to go to the police.

8. Dylan attempts to come off spice with April’s help but, when missing ketamine from the vets is found on his person, fingers are pointed. April is crushed over this betrayal but Marlon later confides in Rhona that he planted the drugs on Dylan, who subsequently overdoses. Marlon pays him a visit in the hospital and confesses the truth but Dylan reveals he won’t tell April as he doesn’t want to upset her further.

9. Marlon and Rhona hold a funeral for Rebecca without April, who agrees to be involved in scattering the ashes.

10. Sarah arrives at the surgery with Charity as Manpreet encourages her to take another test. To their shock, the positive pregnancy test was a false alarm. Sarah is convinced that she’s missed out on her only shot of being a mum.

11. Kim is thrown when Dawn confirms that her desire for Joe hasn’t wavered.

12. Manpreet remains on edge over her secret blackmailing issue.

Coronation Street

13. Accusations are thrown around in the aftermath of of the crash.

14. Lisa is left unnerved when she discovers that Betsy’s bed hasn’t been slept in. Betsy eventually returns, much to the relief of Lisa, who reiterates that she shouldn’t be going out on her own while Rob is on the loose. Betsy, however, sneaks out once again – and she becomes aware that she’s being followed. As she makes a run for it, we discover it’s Rob watching her.

15. Yasmeen and Alya share an emotional farewell.

16. Eileen finds Julie in the undertaker’s discussing funerals with George and she demands that she come clean. Will Julie reveal that she’s dying?

17. Carla is left reeling when Lisa confirms that a body has been found near the hospital and they suspect it might be Rob. Carla is asked to identify the body.

Hollyoaks

18. Lucas wants nothing to do with Dillon nor Rex after last week’s events but avoiding the latter will prove more difficult than he knows when Ste grows closer to the gangster. Lucas attempts to make Ste see that Rex is bad news but Ste is more interested in knowing why Lucas turned to drugs.

19. Sienna returns home from a holiday with the twins, with Cleo taken aback to see her for the first time in weeks. Later in the week, Cleo decides to ask Sienna to be her date to an event. But will love blossom for the two?

20. Myra is on a mission to find out why Mercedes is determined to take the fall for a crime she didn’t commit, joining forces with Misbah, Maxine and John Paul to stage an intervention. Will they get to the bottom of what’s going on?

21. Leela comes to suspect that there is something going on with Joel and Cleo, confiding her fears in new therapist Tommy, who leans in for a kiss after misreading the signals!

Neighbours

22. Susan arrives home early, eager to resume her role at Eirini Rising but she’s thrown when Terese lists a series of mistakes that she made prior to her departure. Mortified, Susan believes she is in fact to blame, with Roxy preying on her vulnerability, insinuating that the job is too much for her.

23. Toadie arrives with sad news – Big Kev has died.

24. Paul returns from New York and admits to Terese that being away gave him time to think about what he used to have – when he and Terese were last together – which was a family unit with Ned and Harlow. The businessman reveals that he misses such a thing, surprising Terese with the suggestion that he move back to Ramsay Street. How will Terese react?

25. Krista jumps to conclusions when she sees Leo and Fallon hugging. Fallon, however, claims that Sebastian has disappeared again. Krista blames Leo for the whole thing, which leaves Leo unsure where they stand about their wedding. Aaron, meanwhile, leaves Krista with food for thought when he suggests that Fallon might be to blame for the conflict between her and Leo.

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One. Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV. Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV. Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays on Channel 4 streaming and airs on E4 at 7pm. Neighbours streams Monday to Thursday from 7am on Amazon Prime.
