After more than four months out of action due to concussion and a more recent hamstring injury, Eben Etzebeth is officially set for his Sharks comeback as the team prepares for a return to URC competition.
The Sharks are set to meet Edinburgh on Friday night (8:30pm kick off) at Hove Stadium, before heading to Ireland to take on Ulster in their final away match in the league phase.
With the focus now solely on the URC campaign, Sharks head coach John Plumtree has selected possibly the strongest squad he has had available to him this season, as he welcomes back Etzebeth, Grant Williams, Lukhanyo Am and Aphelele Fassi.
The quartet have missed various parts of the season to injury, but are now back in the reckoning.
