A FAST food giant has launched hot cross bun toasties in a huge shake-up in time for Easter.
Subway will begin selling a footlong slice of the spiced sweet bread.

It will cost £1.79 and be available to buy at all Subway stores across the UK come March 19.
The famous sandwich make will also treat customers to a Cheesy Bacon Hot Cross Bun Toasties.
This toasties is made with the new hot cross bun bread and features streaky bacon, american-style cheese and topped with BBQ sauce.
The delight will also land in stores on March 19 and cost £3.99 for a six inch sub or £5.99 if you opt for the larger footlong option.
Cathy Goodwin, culinary and innovation director at Subway EMEA, said: “We’re celebrating spring with a Subway twist!
“Combining the nation’s love of hot cross buns with our bread-baking expertise, we’re excited to unveil our delicious new limited-edition menu items catering to both sweet and savoury fans.
“Baked fresh daily and full of flavour, we’re sure they’ll be a big hit this Easter, so get them while they’re hot!”
It is worth noting this is limited edition item and will be available until the end of April.
It is available for delivery on apps such as Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
You can also order the item at your local Subway store.

It comes just weeks after the sandwich chain launched their new Spudway jacket potato, a full-customisable tattie on its own or as part of a meal deal.
Selected restaurants are offering the new menu option from February 19 to April 15, or while stocks last.
The Spudway comes with a variety of toppings, or can be customised with any topping from the normal Subway menu.
Options for the jacket potato include British staples like Cheese & Heinz Beans and Tuna Mayonnaise.
Chicken Tikka, Rotisserie Style Chicken & Bacon and new Taco Beef are also on the menu.
The new Spudway potato can be bought on its own, or as part of a meal deal – which includes a spud, drink, plus crisps or cookie.
Subway is trialling the new Spudway jacket potato in 170 selected restaurants, with potential for a nationwide rollout later this year.

Plus a brandnew footlong nachos which includes tortilla chips topped with cheese, salsa, and optional guacamole.
Prices start at just £2.99 on the new Saver Subs menu, making it easier to dig into Subway’s spiciest offering yet.
It also added the Taco Beef 6” Saver Sub costing for £2.99.
Meanwhile while cheese lovers can go all-in on the Triple Cheese Toastie, stuffed with 12 slices of melted cheese, red peppers, and sweet onion sauce.
