This week, The South African website takes a closer look at the price of a 2kg bag of Tastic Long Grain Parboiled Rice across four major retailers: Woolworths, Checkers, Shoprite, and Pick n Pay.

Which supermarket has the best deal on rice?

Shoprite and Checkers are tied for the lowest price, both selling the 2kg bag at R46.99. Pick n Pay offers the most affordable alternative at R39.99, making it the best value option. Woolworths, on the other hand, lists it at R46.99, matching the price of Shoprite and Checkers.
